I really just want my money back. Pedi was originally $29 got an upcharge of $8 for french tip (rip off). By the 2nd day all the polish was peeling off because of the poor quality of nail polish they used. I needed to treat myself. I've been here before but not in a long long too long of a time. I came in and asked for a pedicure . Tammy was my nail tech. She did an awesome job and I was swayed into a manicure. It felt like such a treat! She did an excellent job. I got French tip and went gel on my manicure. The pedicure was regular .... Firstly, just want to say...everyone here at this salon is extremely friendly and nice. Very humble. And nice. Depending on what type of beauty procedure you need you will of course get someone who knows how to do the job. When it comes to waxing there is only a limited number of people who can do this.. I believe its just one. She is extremely respectful friendly and nice. Speaks a few words of english.. we can get by. In the waxing room there is a picture of Jesus. I believe they are Bible believers? I find that interesting I was bubbling with enthusiasm for this business up and until it came time to pay. Their pay structure and way they charge for services is very confusing if not convoluted. She mentioned to me that the wax for my legs was $35.00. Unfortunately I did not ask her up front but only after she was done how much it cost. Always ask up front how much something is going to cost here. (fullstop) I am okay with the $35 charge but the confusion came with the actual "check out" with my credit card. She ran my card for $16.00. Then she pointed to the ATM CASH MACHINE for the rest. So now she expected $19.00 in cash. At this point I didn't know whether the actual charge for my waxing was $16.00 or $19.00 or a combo of both or ?? ? Apparently it was a combo of $16.00 + $19.00 = $35.00 but then... Where's the tip .. right ? So then I tipped $10.00. If she had run my credit card for the tip I would have tipped her $25.00. My daughter and I came here to get our nails done. I asked for a full set for both of us and a color change on our toes. Vincent did my daughter's nails and Brian did mine. My daughter was given a pedicure even though I asked for her nails to be painted and that's it. By the time I realized it was a pedicure he was halfway in and I just didn't want to make a scene so I didn't say anything. My daughter's nails are lumpy, the French tip looks terrible as you can see her real nail underneath. My nails are horrible too. The nail polish doesn't even cover the whole nail and the acrylic is very bumpy and not flush to my nail bed. I asked him to file it down and he did but it still looks bad. They rushed us out of there, because they were almost closing so I didn't get to complain that day. I spent $200 on our nails. On the way home my daughter told me that the man giving her the pedicure was very creepy towards her as he was rubbing her legs and he was looking at her in a suggestive manner. She's only 13. We found another review on here where a lady had the same uncomfortable experience. He made my daughter feel so uncomfortable and the fact that more than 1 person has experienced this odd behavior is alarming. I called to complain and I was told Vincent wasn't in so he couldn't fix my daughter's nails but Brian was in and he could fix mine. I asked if he could fix my daughter's too and was repeatedly told that he refused to fix my daughter's nails. I kept asking why until the lady on the phone was honest and she told me the 2 guys have beef with each other so Brian will not be touching or fixing Vincent's work. How unprofessional is that! I was then told I'd be charged $45 for a fill to fix my nails because by the time I was available to come in they would have grown out. If I was able to come in the day I complained they were going to charge me $25 to fix their mistake. I asked for the manager and I was given her number. I called a few times and it went straight to voice-mail. I called the nail salon again to find out why Kathy wasn't answering and I was told she's in Vietnam on vacation until August 8th or something. This situation was so unnecessary, they have horrible customer service and are unprofessional with their own personal drama that they bring to the workplace. Not to mention the creepy guy who is massaging young girls and women and is making them uncomfortable. My daughter was so excited to get her nails done for school and now they are ugly and she was made to feel very uncomfortable by that man giving her a service I didn't even ask for. I came as a walk-in for a manicure. I asked for gel-x. She told me she could do a gel-x. I showed her a picture of an iridescent French manicure which she said she could do. Once I sat down, she said that I should get a gel builder instead of gel-x, claiming it is better for my nails. My nails were too long, and I wanted them to be somewhat shorter but not toddler length. She cut them super short, much too short for a French manicure. She did the gel builder, but it was applied unevenly (see picture). The unevenness was especially bad during the part where she took a phone call. At this point, she said they got new cat eye colors for me to choose from. Since the French manicure I wanted seemed unlikely, I selected a cat eye color. She began painting when she realized she didn't know how to create the cat eye effect (I guess there's a magnet involved, but she was unable to make it work). She laughed it off and offered a "next time." As you can see in the photos, this ended up being a basic, monochrome champagne color. Despite twice not getting what I had wanted, I still got charged the full amount. I feel terribly leaving a bad review, but getting my nails done is something I work hard to do, and it's not cheap. I left feeling taken advantage of and really disappointed. Two stars because it's a small business, and I do wish them well, but I won't return. read more

Went to get lash extensions done, but big mistake. Lady was nice but totally not what I expected. My lashes aren't placed correctly. And you can see the glue. They looked not curves at all so I got home and brushed them lightly and tried to fix the shape just because it was a lash emergency. When ever I am in Palm Springs I frequent this nail shop as well as my in laws because of Cathy the owner. I went during 3 day weekend with 2 other family members for a nail fill and pedicure on Saturday 2/17/24 . I noticed the change in workers, more males than usual. One of the males who is also a nail tech did my fill and pedicure. I thought maybe he is good since Cathy has him doing nails. When he started I let him know that one of my nails was lifting and he was " ya ya I know I know" and brush me off as if he knows what he is doing. So I just sat back and watched but then I noticed that he was not chipping off old acrylic but rather just using filling tool. I asked him specifically about the way he was tending my nails but he just said " NO it's fine it's ok it's the same thing".I was uncomfortable but thought maybe this is a new way. $ 104.00 for a fill and mediocre pedicure WOW I said that seems expensive. Just days later I noticed my nails looked terrible and with in the week noticed a spot and thought oh my I hope it's not gangrene on middle finger and another spot forming on ring finger nail. So I removed them come to find out it is a disgusting fungus. So please be aware of NOT only the PRICES ( ask before they start so you are in agreement) but also if they sanitize and tend to your hands and feet. Speak up and ask Cathy because she seems to be the ONLY one who knows how to do nail. Sorry Cathy but this is not right . Pros: -They did a great job on our manicures and pedicures. -The place is clean (they line their tubs with plastic covers). -The prices are fair. -They have coffee service from the cafe next door!!! I had a very UNCOMFORTABLE & INAPPROPRIATE experience at this nail salon. I have been going here for almost a year and Kathy has always treated me great, today I was met by dirty looks and inappropriate stares from a male worker there. As I left I told the manager about my uncomfortable experience, and hopefully they take action. I've been here four times and I keep thinking it's going to get better but it doesn't. Every time I've come here to get a manicure or a pedicure, my nails don't look good. Today was my last visit. Brian did my pedicure. I only wanted a basic pedicure. I didn't want anything fancy my feet are in good shape. I basically wanted a color change. I wasn't watching him. I did notice five men doing nails. When he was done with my feet he had another client across the salon who needed a manicure. He told me to wait for 10 minutes so they could dry. I looked down at my feet and noticed that both of my baby toes were half painted. The man who was working on the pedicure next to us got up to get a hot towel and I quietly asked him if he would please tell the young man who did my nails I needed to speak with him. He said, "his name is Brian" and then sat down and continued to do his pedicure. A minute went by and I (again) asked the young man working next to me if he would please tell Brian I needed to speak with him for a moment. I couldn't get up and cross the salon because my nails were wet and I did not want to yell. When Brian came back over to my chair, I started to tell him about my toenails and he did not let me finish. He said, "I know I know I got it". So, he knew he did a bad job and just thought he should get away with it? When he went back to his new client, i looked at my toes again and could see dirt under two toes because the nail wasn't completely covered in polish. Just crappy. Here on Yelp it says pedicures start at $18. That is not true. Their pedicures start at $26. On the wall it says a basic spa pedicure is $36. I took $60 out of the ATM. When I went to the counter the young lady said it was $26. I handed her $40 and told her I needed $10 back. She looked at me like I had three heads and I left. I won't come back. I wish I had read Yelp reviews before I went. It seems the owner of the salon knows Brian doesn't know how to do nails but keeps him anyway. That's a shame.
