I so happen to be in the downtown Palm Spring's on a simple itinerary to find a nice place to eat & take in the culture with my daughter. My daughter saw Kiehl's along the path and nudged me with genuine excitement to pay them a visit. Thank goodness I walked into this location. Never could I have imagined that the skin representative, Niesha, at Kiehl's would be the highlight of the Palm Springs Visit. She reshaped my view on skin care with her specific knowledge of facial scrubs, toners, & skin creams for various skin types. I even learned the importance of skin hydration while we're at it. Shout out to my daughter for pushing me to visit Kiehl's in Palm Springs in the first place! Another shoutout to Niesha for making the visit memorable. read more

Went in with my family on a break from the Palm Springs Short Fest earlier this week. My daughter had suggested their products and encouraged her father and me to get a skin analysis. Nyesha (sp?) was AMAZING! 10/10. Very professional, fabulous customer service, relatable, and knowledgeable. She recommended the products that would work best for us based on our lifestyles and work environments. She even told us which were most beneficial sonce we couldn't purchase them all. My partner and I, who are locals, went in looking for a hypoallergenic sunscreen. The gentleman working there, an esthetician, spoke to us very condescendingly when asking us questions about what we knew about sunscreen and was pretty rude. He advised us to just see a dermatologist. We didn't appreciate his tone as we were obviously there looking for advice and all his did was make us feel stupid. Sephora is right next door and we will definitely never step foot nor recommend this place to anyone read more

I purchased a gift card for a friend so he would receive it on his birthday. Three weeks later I received an email saying that my credit card would be refunded. But my friend must have thought I forgot his birthday. The email made no reference to this, nor did they offer any attempt to make it right. I went directly to the local Kiehls and spoke to the manager (Matthew). He informed me that he couldn't do anything other than forward my emails to see if he could offer the same discounts that were valid when I originally purchased the "gift card". Kiehls is a stuffy, overrated, company with no concept of customer service or a desire to reward loyalty (my friend was a longtime customer). Not anymore. He gets real customer service from Clarins and no stuffiness! read more

The worst customer service. As 20+ year Kiehls consumer, this is the worst store I've ever been. I went to pick up an online order and the person who gave me my order never offered free samples. With every purchase, you are eligible to receive 3 samples (it even notes that online). And when I did ask for it, he only gave 2. Very stingy. Not happy with this store. read more

It took me a few days to get to this review because I wanted to make sure it had my full attention and time, as it very so much deserves ! I honestly don't have words to express my gratitude to the employees and this company for having the right kind of staffing and team! this past weekend my family and I where doing some pre Mother's Day shopping in down town Palm Springs and my little sister lost my wallet! I thought for sure it was gone I cried I stressed so hard and of course canceled all my cards that where in there. For 4 days the staff did everything they could to get ahold of me and somehow and track me down !! Until finally one morning I woke up to a message that read we found your wallet call me and left their number. It was the store manger her name is Niesha. When I went to pick up my wallet that I had lost hope, in not only was absolutely everything there even the cash!! But the few people working there where just absolutely amazing and genuine souls so I can't lie and say I've shopped here I love their products but I can definitely tell you that if multiple employees go above and beyond that far and doesn't give up for days ! To make sure one of the most important things just about anyone NEEDS for their EVERYDAY life is returned then I definitely want to support that business financially and would gladly do so because I fully trust in the products they are selling as their so honest I have a hard time believing they would ever sell you something not worth your money!! I've been an avid user of Kiehl's products since about 2002, and I'm thrilled that a new store store (close to me) is now open! This store is in a great location right in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs. Street parking can be somewhat of a challenge (but not impossible for an alert motorist with cat-like reflexes) during busier times of the day. The store itself is in a corner space (the Southwest corner). The actual space feels relatively small (about 900 square feet or so of shopping area) but it appears to carry most (if not all) of Kiehl's current lineup of products. Basically, they have an extensive selection of premium quality skincare products for both men and women. There are testers for the more popular items available. The helpful and informative (and encouraging) sales associates are all outfitted in white lab coats (which makes them pretty to spot if you need assistance or have questions). This store location's design elements are nice (highway sign wallpaper). read more

Visiting the new Kiehl's store is an event!!! When my daughters and I recently visited the new Kiehl's store in P.S., we were waited on by "Mr. Personality"--Rocky!!! Rocky knows his Kiehl's products!-- and is marvelous at giving personal attention to your specific needs. My daughters used to purchase Kiehl's at the original N.Y.C store, so were already familiar with Kiehl's quality. What a happy find to know that we now have a Kiehl's store on our visits to Palm Springs.... AND- it gets better! After returning home from our Palm Springs vaca, I visited the Kiehl's online site. As nice as it is, the "chat" line does not hold a candle to the personal attention received from the guys who run the Palm Springs store. So I called the store and spoke to Manager, Matt. ---another Gem! Matt carefully answered my product questions and I indicated that I would like to do business directly with them, rather than online. Matt was delighted because they get "store credit" and I was thrilled because my family and I will continue to receive personal attention, excellent skincare formulas, plus all the award points and free samples that the online store promises. It's a WIN-WIN!!! It's the combination of the awesome Kiehl's products, with Matt and Rocky at the helm, that make the Kiehl's Palm Springs store so special! ...so if you live somewhere else, like we do, my TIP is to continue to do your purchasing there with a simple phone call to Rocky or Matt. It's still summer and they are new but please figure it out. Went by at 6:15 Saturday night and it was dark and shuttered. All the other nearby stores were open for at least another hour. I have been a loyal customer for years now. And each time I am sent a 'reward' it is loosely termed as it is a promotion so any other promotion to get samples you don't get, but the best part is they don't give you a 'rewards' number to put in the order and so each time I get a 'reward' it expires because their link to shop and use the 'reward' never works. It would honestly be better if they didn't have a 'reward/promotion' program because it is frustrating that every time I try to use these I never can and then loose out on an even better promotion because they never get back to me.
