I don't know what happened here but the last three (3) times I've been to this Sephora store they have really taken the time to help me with what I was looking for. Very helpful staff very attentive not too pushy... Just helpful and not snobby. I was assisted with choosing the correct eyebrow powder to color my eyebrows in to make them darker because .. as we can tell .. I wasn't born with bushy or dark eyebrows .., my eyebrows are so blonde they practically disappear on my face as well as with my eyelashes ..,, without makeup I look like an albino ( well almost ) so getting help with selecting eyeshadow colors ( singles ) and the perfect eyebrow color for me is critical. read more

I have never been monitored so closely before and it was so obvious I was being watched. I was first asked if I needed any help by a blonde lady. I kindly told her I was just browsing. I must have been her favorite customer because she made sure to keep me in her line of view. I mean the whole time I was there she was in my peripheral. I get it. These stores profile people. That's just what they do. Whatever. I knew what I needed (my fenty heat gloss bomb and my rare beauty blush) so, I got my items and proceeded to wait in line. While I was in line to check out a brunette lady with these huge black square shaped glasses asked me if I needed a bag. This is what did it for me. I'm in line waiting to check out holding two items in my hands. I'm literally waiting to pay for my products. Why would I need a bag? Like I said these stores profile- so it's really whatever. However, if you're going to do it you can be more clever and sly because it was abruptly obvious. The brunette lady continued to keep an eye on me until I got to the register and paid. And of course the blonde wasn't too far either. It wasn't until the cashier mentioned that I could get 20% off because I was a V.I.B member that these two ladies miraculously disappeared. The store gets two stars because they actually had the specific shade I was searching for in the rare beauty blushes, and as I was browsing you could tell the store had a pretty good selection of items in stock. Sephora in Palm Springs could be dangerous, lol! Since we happened to be in the area, I made a quick stop to see if they have the new makeup line by Kulfi. Thanks again to the good ole gram, I got caught up, so I've been on a mission to find it. Finally, I found it here! Thank you to Alexa, who provided excellent customer service tonight. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted, and she helped me right away. I took the quiz online to match my shade, and it was spot on! I was wearing a completely different brand, so Alexa took the time to remove it and carefully applied the Kulfi concealer under my left eye. I don't usually wear makeup daily, just on special occasions or if I have extra time. I'll have to test it out for a few hours and see how it holds up, but so far, so good! I was unaware that today is the last day to use your discount (if you're a V.I.B. member), so seeing a few bucks knocked off the regular retail price was a bonus. I have never left a review like this before, but what happened at this Sephora shocked me and my family. A sales associate tried to sell me a used tester by taking it off the display and putting it inside a product box as if it were new. If my mom hadn't noticed that the tester was suddenly missing from the stand, I would have unknowingly purchased a product that dozens of strangers had touched and swatched. This is not just bad customer service - it's a serious health and safety issue. Testers are exposed to bacteria, viruses, and who knows what else. Selling one as if it's a fresh product is dangerous and shows a complete disregard for customer welfare. I cannot believe this level of negligence is happening under Sephora's name. The fact that an employee thought this was acceptable practice makes me question the store's management, training, and oversight. read more

Love that Sephora is located in the heart of the shopping district, it's so convenient! During Covid they are really limiting the number of customers allowed in the store, but the wait is not bad and I appreciate their concern for safety. They carry the full line of beauty products, tools and cosmetics. When traveling I always end up forgetting something, this time my sunscreen and conditioner, so a quick stop in Sephora and I was done. Parking can be found on the street or behind the building where the Marilyn Monroe statue is located. Experience: I recently visited this Sephora location and overall I had a good experience. The store is really easy to find and it's the only one in town. Although the store is on the smaller side, it is well-organized. Unfortunately, they were sold out of almost everything I was looking for, however, the staff was helpful in suggesting alternatives and even offered to place an order for me online. I ordered for curbside pickup but no one responded when I went to pick up. I finally went inside ( happy they had a nice designated place to park in this busy area). Staff was very nice and friendly and didn't seem to know that I had been waiting so I suspected there was a glitch in the curbside messaging system. They retrieved and processed the order quickly. While inside I asked for a recommendation for a type of product I was considering. They offered to match the suggested item for me and, when I said I had to get to an appointment at a certain time, said they could do it very quickly. They immediately showed me the product, asked a few questions, did the match and allowed me to purchase in no time! While I love to browse this store, their helpfulness, concern for my time and courtesy were perfect for this trip. I was super excited to use my gift card that I had received as a birthday gift. When I went to the cashier to pay she asked me if I wanted to make a rewards account and I kindly rejected the account. After paying I realized I had a few dollars left so I continued to browse and noticed they didn't have what I was looking for in store but was told I can order it online. When I approached the cashier I asked her several questions about the product I was looking for and she rudely mentioned she doesn't know anything about that product. After realizing I couldn't find what I wanted I asked her if I made a rewards account if she can add my recent purchase & she said i can call this number and do it myself. I told her if she can do it while I was in store and she rudely explained that her cash register had to "process the transaction" after awkwardly standing there she then began to process the return (within 2 min of transaction) & gave me my rewards. I ended up saving around $30 because of the rewards account and I got a free birthday gift. It upsets me that she didn't explain the benefits of the rewards account and how much money it could've saved me. I ended up leaving with two additional items because I convinced myself to make the account. Really wish they were more informed on products and didn't make you feel uncomfortable for asking. read more

A salesperson showed me the special for the day and said that the "fresh" brand ( points to the products on the shelf) is 50% off. Not only did I receive multiple compliments by Sephora shoppers while she was doing my makeup, but her personality is very personable and friendly!
