My latest move was relocating from Clovis, CA to San Diego, CA and, as always everything was smooth & stress free. The two gentleman scheduled for my move were Adam & Oscar and they were phenomenal. Is there an option to give more than 5 stars? What I can say other than excellent, excellent, excellent!!! This was an amazing experience. The attention to detail. The due diligence taken to ensure nothing was damaged in any way. They went above and beyond. A small army showed up early ( yes, I said early) with all there gear ready to go. How they kept a smile on there face in 103 heat going up and down stairs is beyond me. The owner Richard was on sight keeping everything moving like a well oiled machine. To be quite honest they took better care moving my stuff better than I ever had in the past whenever I moved. The care and detail that I received further insures that going local with family owned business is the only way to go and I found that with 5 Star Moving. Definitely A 5+ Star company!!! We had such a great experience from the beginning to the end!!! We sold our house sooner than expected and we had to move our antique box upright piano within a week. I started calling different moving companies for quotes for the move of only a piano from Clovis to Fresno (Just under 7 miles) and I was getting outrageous quotes!!! Over $400 for the move of a piano!!! This company was reasonable in price and were able to get the job done fast and within the same week!! The guys that came out we're professional and courteous!!! They also were extremely careful with the piano and caused NO damage!!! If we ever have to move again we will definitely be using this company again!!! Recently when we needed moving services, I called Five Star Moving Company again. I was very impressed with the moving team. Rick, Adam, and Eric. Their service had only improved. They demonstrated exceptional care: they meticulously wrapped and covered every item, ensuring that walls and furniture remained unscathed.They safely navigated heavy furniture down from second-floor through a tight stairway. Their ability to disassemble beds and china hutch and reassemble them in the new location, was particularly commendable. Best moving experience and we have moved ALOT. Nicole worked a miracle and found a spot in their schedule that worked without short timeframe. She followed up a couple days before and kept in contact to make sure everything went well. We have already referred friends and our past apartment manager to use these guys. They were early, brought supplies and did not stall at all. We had very steep stairs and a funky half wall to work around. They didn't think twice about it and took care of out stuff like it was their own. During a quick water break we found out they would have driven the truck down south and unloaded as well. Bobby,Jr, and Brandon came to my house ready to go they were so energetic and helpful I recently had to move my mothers house after her passing and was a very stressful day as u can imagine but when they showed up they were more than careful and supportive of me they really know there stuff and I really didnt have to do anything but relax they were always joyful and doing something I eventually had to tell them to take a break becaus it was 105 and extremely hot once they took a 5 min break they were ready to go again all in all my move took 8.5 hrs for a 4 bdr house and made my day a heck of alot easier I highly recommend these guys thank you so much!!!! read more

We were moving a small amount of furniture to our new apartment in anticipation of moving the rest of our 4 bedroom home when we sell it. Five Star was recommended to us and we couldn't be more pleased with their service. Starting with Nicole who scheduled the appointment, and Rich and Cisco who moved the furniture, we were treated courteously and professionally by all. To make matters more difficult, Rich and Cisco had to deal with pouring rain and thunder and lightening. Somehow, they managed to move everything without a single muddy footprint anywhere in both places. Good job, Five Star! We'll definitely be seeing you again when we sell our house. So I literally just downloaded yelp just to explain how awesome these guys are I hired them last minute and the receptionist nicole was just awesome with helping me with all my needs she said they would be there 8am and although I am always skeptical there they were the next day right on time which is important to me they handled my 5 bedroom house with ease they were always doing something wrapping my furniture and handling it with extreme care the guys were so knowledgeable and friendly they really made my moving day turn from hectic to easy if I could give them more than five stars I would thanks guys I highly highly recommend these guys for anyones move!!!!!! read more

I would like to highly recommend 5 Star Moving. Movers Richard, Dennis and Jr. were on time, fast and courteous. My move was not an easy feat for 7 hours moving upstairs! They wrapped by furniture using plastic and moving blankets. Carefully arranging in the u-haul for glass not to be damaged. They worked without stopping! As they obviously became dehydrated I continued to supply water. They kept moving with a smile on their faces. I had to schedule my move at the last minute with 5 Star. Nicole was great about calling her on-call guys to squeeze me in. JR and Brandon made sure to call me before to tell me that Uhaul had a computer down and they were going to be a little bit late (it was nice to know they cared enough to give me the heads up). Once they got to my house, they were ready to work! They took down and moved all the furniture and assembled it back together in 3 hours. They were polite, fast and efficient! Moving can be super stressful, but having expert and professional people on the team makes things sooo much smoother and pleasant. Rich came up to Yosemite to move me the morning after a freak snow storm. I honestly thought they would cancel. But no, they came as scheduled, on time, in 4" of snow. I can't say enough good things about 5 Star Moving. They truly live up to their name! Bobby and Brandon did an exceptional job. Mine was a long distance move - Fresno to Salt Lake City. They loaded my U-Haul truck, drove it to Salt Lake City, then flew home to Fresno. They rescued me after Colonial Van Lines left me hanging. I had contracted with Colonial Van Lines 5 weeks prior to my move. On the day of my move they told me they had no truck or driver available. It was devastating! 5 Star Movers came to my rescue. This is the second time I have used 5 Star moving and will be using them again in 5 months. Bobby and Junior worked non stop for four hours. Everything I asked of them they did without hesitation. They even made sure to stack things organized and neatly in the garage where I could still park my car. One of the things I loved though was how they wrapped the furniture with blankets then wrapped them so the blankets wouldn't fall off and the furniture would be protected. We used 5 star moving to move recently and it was the best decision I made. Not only were they fast, professional, and accommodating, they made me feel at ease while handling my belongings. Moving is overwhelming as it is but Nicole was very understanding and made sure I was taken care of. She kept me updated at all times. These people did a fantastic job! They worked with us through everything. When our 1st escrow fell out, they were understanding. On the 2nd escrow they helped every step of the way. We just moved from Fresno to the Bay Area and this was by far the best in all our moves to, within and out of Fresno. Bobby and Randy were awesome. They took care to cover and shrink wrap our furniture and fragile and delicate items and loaded and unloaded them with utmost care. The price was almost half off of what others had quoted. I hired them after my disastrous move across the country to move my stuff out of storage. These guys were fantastic!! They did charge me for the Uhaul which was a little annoying but overall they were very well priced. I spoke to them on the phone and said 2 people were coming to move my 1 bedroom Apt and they ended up bringing 3, they finished in about an 1.5 hours. Overall very friendly, showed up on time, and got the job done. I can't say enough good things about them. read more
