Once they were all packed up and done, I asked for help with a rug and they said, "Ok, it's no extra charge but you can't sign the bill until AFTER we do it because that's an insurance liability". Professional, all the way. We are moving from one house to another (locally) and taking our time, and Badger Brothers will be with us every step of the way. We plan to call them for each stage of the process. We found them to be comparable price-wise, though in all honesty, I would have paid more (I ended up parlaying it into a tip). Don't waste time looking elsewhere- this is the company to call.

Both were professional and friendly, and eager to please. My contact with Badger Brothers was exceptional as well. The estimate was accurate and price very fair. Very professional, on time. I liked how they offered pre-move hints, and their reminder to tip the movers. That tells me they care about their employees. I would hire them again for any move!!!!! BTW - my move was simple - needed big furniture moved to different floors of my home.

    I wish I would have read these reviews before I picked this company to move my household goods and…read morefurniture. Everyone knows how stressful it is to move. This company takes advantage of that stress and adds to it, in a way that gives one such anxiety, that I couldn't even sleep well, until they delivered my things. When they didn't have a person come to the house to do an inventory, was my first "red flag" and I should have known better, having moved across country before. I tried to save a little money, so I believed the "Ten Best Long Distance Moving Companies" reviews online and that they were a smaller outfit that would still do an honest job for a reasonable rate. I went with the great sales pitch that Oscar gave me over the phone, trusting everything he said to me. I liked the fact that all the people I would work with were "employees of the company". They must have gotten a discount on the company shirts the two movers wore when they came to my door at 3 pm not the 11-2 time frame I was given. ! Why did they pull up in an Enterprise rental truck? The paperwork was stuck in my face to sign, and hardly had a chance to even read the fine print. I must say that these two guys worked really fast and hard, and within 5 hours they had my house emptied out. I had them pack lamps and pictures but otherwise I did all of the packing myself in my boxes. Later I was to find out that they charged me for all of the tape and packing materials they used, thought it was included? They also used some of their own boxes for misc. pillows and bedding and an extra wardrobe box. I did not watch everything that they did, I was busy on my end getting the place clean and ready, and waiting for them to finish up. When they did it was dark, and I was exhausted. As they pulled away, and I watched the truck go up the street, I had a funny feeling that I might not even see my things again! Then the phone calls started, on my end...... when is the truck going to deliver my things in Pittsburgh?? All I ever heard was "in 7 to 17 days, and the driver will call to give you a 24 hr. notice". I was patient, I was pleasant, and my friends kept reassuring me that everything will be fine. Weeks passed, and I was told my furniture was put in a wearhouse in Colorado !!?? Their semi- truck, had to be full and had many stops along the way to make and they repeated the above phrase about the driver calling me. D When I was finally given a date, well over the 17 day time period, and the driver finally called, part two of my anxiety driven experience began.They said he would arrive early afternoon, he arrived at 6:45 PM on a Friday night, when the storage manager was already gone. I was also told by the office Customer Service Staff, Phyllis or Tina, that he would not be able to get the big truck in the parking area, and would have to unload and re-load into a smaller rental truck, add on another $1500.00!! Then I lost my good natured self, and argued that it was a storage facility, that is their business to have big trucks deliver things all the time, but they refused to have the driver call ahead to make arrangements, and just said he couldn't do it. Now they had me......what was I supposed to do now?? I "made nice" with the truck driver in a text and waited for his arrival. Sure enough, one driver showed up, with a locally hired crew, in a "rental truck with Arizona plates" on it!! He only wanted cash for the final payment, and then the truck would be unloaded. So far, I can't tell if I received all of my things, since it was stacked in a storage unit. Bottom line, do yourself and your mental stress and favor, go with a bigger more reputable company, and spend the extra money, it will be worth it, believe me. This company should be reported for their business practices, lies and for the extra charges to the customer. I had no choice but to pay to have them take my furniture and belongings off the rental truck! All the furniture was still wrapped and he said that he didn't need the blankets back? GOOD luck to all of the people who have to move in the future, do your homework, and ask a lot of questions. A little extra time spent now, reading reviews and actual experiences, will save you a lot of stress and money in the future.

    I honestly can't believe this company is still in business! They moved us 3.5 years ago, and it was…read moreworse than I could ever have imagined. First, they charged us an extra $2,000 because after driving from TX to PA, they said they couldn't take the huge truck up our neighborhood street. Shouldn't they have checked that in advance?!?! The options given to us were to pay $2,000 for them to move all items to a smaller truck, then to our house, our we get our own truck and moved everything from the truck to the house ourselves! Then there was all the same, which they offered us a measly $108 for. They broke our 65" smart TV, knocked a piece off of our antique player piano, lost part of the drawer in the antique paymaster desk, busted four of our storage bins, damaged irreplaceable artwork and other items made by my grandmother, broke glasses, didn't label boxes so I had no idea where to find needed items, packed bottoms then turned them upside down so containers inside dumped out all of Thor items, and more. And they think it's worth $108. And when I tried to contact them it was next to impossible to get a response. NEVER USE UNITED REGIONS VAN LINES!!!!!
