I advised his movers my dresser drawers do not detach they went against what I said and now I cant utilize two of my drawers on a brand new dresser. I have been messaging him since that day so they can fix my drawers and have been getting the run around. they also scratched up this same dresser. I messaged today about the same issue because he stated he was sending someone to fix this and now he saying he's headed out of town. I'm posting this here and on faceb about this company right now movers. the workers that were sent out to move me and my family this Saturday on Jan 6 2023 totally damaged our washer and refrigerator while moving it. the workers were very kind but in a rush and lazy about being careful. they scraped my washer and dented it horribly on the ground and while moving my fridge into the new place the guys just scraped it and kept going. I watched the whole thing and complained. they laughed. I'm thinking that crap isn't funny!! Do not recommend! First, the positive. Cleaned out my grandmothers room that was full of junk and did a good job. Great price. A few days later, moved all my furniture and belongings to her house and in the empty room they cleaned out. Went great, except, after moving things around in my moms room to get some of my things in, my mom noticed her tv was broken a couple hours after her things were moved around by the movers when she tried to turn it on. She even showed me. Mind you, I asked a mover what happened to my floor length mirror because the fabric on the back was loose and my mom stepped in and said no , it was already like that. The mover even thanked her for being honest. Clearly my mom is not a liar or swindler. I contacted Grady, the owner, twice, trying to politely get the tv replaced and even told him there was a $75 flat screen on Amazon that we would be ok with receiving. He refused, insisted that it was not their fault or responsibility, even tried to say no one moved anything in my mother's room (which is a complete lie), and refused to get the tv replaced. He offered.60 per pound which would be less than $10, which is nothing, because, he says, that's on the contract. If he could have, he would have. He's the owner who created the contract! For someone who claims to be a man of God and a pastor, he sure is greedy and selfish. I will never do business with him or recommend him to anyone. All he cares about is money! So much so that he's willing to lose a repeat customer over $75! I even told him this but he wouldn't budge. Unprofessional, disrespectful, greedy, and selfish. He was prompt in his reply and professional in all our interactions via text. There were several schedules to juggle and he was proactive to check in with me throughout. BEWARE! IF YOU PAY A DEPOSIT IT DOES NOT GO TOWARDS YOUR MOVE. IT GOES TOWARDS THE BOOKING AGENCY! THE BROKE 2/3 FLAT SCREEN TVS, DRESSERS, EVERY GLASS END TABLE AND LIVING ROOM TABLE I HAD. These were the worst movers I've ever encountered. It took them 8 hours to load a two-bedroom apartment. The company's owner continued calling them every hour, requesting them to take images of their progress, which should have been the first warning sign. To circumvent the owners' every hr picture request, they would pull stuff out of one room and sit them in the hallway while taking pictures. They would then take the items from the corridor and place them in the front lobby of my apartment building and then took pictures of an empty apartment as if they were completely done (I reside in downtown Milwaukee). My apartment management staff sent me several concerns. To make matters worse, they begged for food, so I went and grabbed them some, and all three of the movers ended up "using the bathroom" after I cleaned it. One of them ended up clogging the toilet. The manner they packed the truck was so bad that the new moving company I ended up hiring to unload the truck required me to sign a release stating that they would not be accountable for how they had to get the stuff off the truck. Not only that, but I utilized Bellhop-MovingLabor and had to pay a $110 deposit, with the remaining balance due after the move was complete. After three movers took eight hours to load a two-bedroom apartment, the fee skyrocketed to $1,000. I questioned the owner about the $110 deposit I made. They informed me that the money went to BellHop-Moving Labor, not his company! I also contacted the owner about my broken products, and he has not responded in 6 days; PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM! I had a last minute move in august 2021 and called this company. A very nice lady called and scheduled it. Everything went downhill after that. The movers were over an hour late because they didn't realize they had a move ( they usually don't works Sunday's and this was not communicated to me). The movers made multiple marks in my new apartment, broke my bed frame, and broke my tv stand (and almost broke the tv). I could have forgiven this if they compensated me for my bed frame. They did not. They tried to fix the bed frame, which lasted about a week before starting to break. The owner of the company tried to find me a new bed frame, however after i asked to be compensated instead since he couldn't find one that matched my furniture, he never contacted me again. These are photos from the morning of my move after my move. He damaged my things then lied to say they were old scratches. I used my pinky to scratch the damages to show it was his fault. He then pulled a piece off my furniture. I have him on video. I also attached our text where I ask does he wrap things. Look at some of the photos, nothing wrapped. I'll add more pictures. He also stole 500. Look at other reviews on Yelp, they are from fake pages. Look at Better Business Complaints. Look at CCAP (Wisconsin Courts)FOR GRADY ANDERSON. He owes plenty of people. I already contacted the FTC and local police. He can respond however he wants but MY things are messed up. I would have no reason to leave a review other than to stop others from making a mistake. I ordered a pickup for a washer/dryer set that was supposed to be electric, so should've been just a matter of unplugging it and packing it up. It turned out to be a gas dryer and disconnecting it for the move was much more complicated than expected. Grady and his people sorted it out! They were very communicative and helpful. We hired for snow removal - they were always the last company to show up in our neighborhood after the snow was driven or walked over. They would leave areas unshoveled. They never initiated communication (except the time I didnt pay for a few hours after the service). They no-showed the last two snows. The second to last was 50/50 if we needed service but the last snow, I reached out to see if they were coming and they did not respond. read more

Booked them to help us unpack storage unit and move into house. Easy to book and without too many weeks advance notice, which was appreciated. Showed up in an unmarked truck. They were relatively quick with unpacking. However, there were several wall dings in the house, they could have been more careful. Admittedly it was a small cramped house layout. But worse, when unloading items into the garage, they placed several wood furniture items face down on bare concrete, giving them large scratches. Other boxes marked fragile were literally tossed into the garage. There are better options IMO. read more

Do NOT use this moving company. We were in a bind and needed moving help since our original movers No Showed us. Grady was willing to help at the last minute, which we appreciated. But bottom line: they broke a one of a kind item that is virtually irreplaceable and stated they do not carry cargo insurance, so I can't file a claim. They also stated that the damage was not due to negligence, but to a freak accident with the wind knocking over a 145-pound item. So instead of paying to replace the full value of the broken item, I got repaid at a rate of $0.60 PER POUND for this damage. Guys, go elsewhere. Ask for a written copy of their policy and check them out on the BBB online. There are other complaints from other customers filed against them for similar issues. If you are able to choose another company, even if it costs more and may involve waiting, I would recommend it because these guys won't replace your broken items. Would not recommend putting your possessions in their care. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and Google. read more

Right now movers were amazing! I had a large piece of furniture to move into my basement. Mr. Grady and his team arrived on time and tried several attempts to move the piece into my house. Unfortunately, I bought some thing that Would not fit into my home. This is my own fault! However right now movers were wanting to charge me less than what was quoted. I ended up paying full price given their expertise and willingness to try every possible angle to move the piece of furniture. Mr. Grady even called me the following day because he had another idea that we could try out. I ended up giving up on the idea of moving this large piece of furniture into my house and ended up selling it. I would highly recommend right now movers for any moving needs. I hired Right Now Movers for a local move the second weekend of April. Two super nice guys showed up in a medium size truck right on time. They worked extremely hard, and packed the truck like Tetris Gods. They wrapped anything that could have been damaged, and delivered all the items to each room in our new house per our instruction. Overall, super satisfied. Just a note, the front-end communication isn't overly substantial. I called them about ten days before the move, and they said to text them the address, and they would put me in the calendar. There is no email, contract, or anything like that ahead of time. They called me about 30 minutes before arriving. This wasn't a problem for us, but something to know if you book with them and don't hear anything before the day of the move. read more

I needed to find a moving crew for a same day move to help a friend in a domestic violence situation - always a hard task but especially during COVID and a busy housing market. Cheap. But you will pay for it. First, my appointment time was incorrectly recorded and then blamed on me. The movers were very slow and inefficient. There were multiple damages to the apartment building we moved from and multiple damages to items including chipped out frame of TV and a bookcase with the top ripped off. We used right now movers and had a wonderful experience. We did have a small issue with a schedule confusion though. We thought we confirmed a Thursday move and the company had booked us for Friday. It wasn't a huge deal though, because the company immediately lined up a crew and got out to our storage locker an hour later! Upon booking, they don't send an email confirmation or anything, I guess that's the only thing I would change. This company is not super "fancy". The trucks are a bit old, but they do a great job and we couldn't have asked for a better price! $75 an hour, 2 man crew. Super nice guys too. Right Now Movers backed their truck into our property causing $3,000+ in damage back in April [on camera!]. After accepting responsibility for the damage and acknowledging it was their fault / responsibility, they have refused to pay for the damage [in July]. Now, they refuse to respond to any communication and/or provide follow-up. If they're unable to provide recompense for damage they've acknowledged responsibility for, imagine what they'd do to your belongings while moving them! Terrible! read more

Very satisfied with my move from Right Now Movers. They were able to schedule my move very last minute and fit my in before the end of the month which is always a busy time. The guys arrived 1 hour before my schedule time and moved extremely quickly. A had a ton of large furniture and they packed the truck well. Had no damages and they were friendly. The move took longer than expected through no fault of the movers (had elevator issues) and they kept their energy up. Today was super hot and they had 2 flights of stairs! I am extremely pleased with the customer service of the movers and the office. In terms of price these are the cheapest out there by almost half. I am a college student and my father and mother are both injuries so I needed some help. I contacted this company and got a quick response. The boss of the company was very clear with everything and what I was paying for. Two men were sent, Tommy and Zach, and they were my saviors of the day. They were super nice and efficient. They made this experience of moving by myself not as scary and stressful. I literally had no stress. I just felt bad I was making them carry things, but they kept assuring me that they were alright and ready for anything. They even helped me with the hell called ikea furniture. Bless these men! They did come on a Sunday, which is something they don't normally do as they are closed on Sundays but I told them about my situation and they were more than happy to accommodate. read more

I engaged Right Now Movers for a short distance move last year during October and was very satisfied with their service. They were among the cheapest movers I could find near Milwaukee downtown (they charge a flat rate of $75/hr with a 2 hr minimum), were very punctual (which was pleasantly surprising considering that when I scheduled them over phone, I did not get a receipt or confirmation, nor was there any followup before the day of the move), courteous and efficient (my 2 BHK - with about 25 boxes and furniture was loaded, transported 15 miles away and unloaded in the new place by two guys - all within 3.5 hours). They were most obliging when I requested them to make a stop at a store on the way to pick up some additional furniture. All of my stuff were intact (although - to be fair I did not have many delicate objects and packed all glassware myself) and all disassembled furniture were assembled back properly. I will admit that the guys doing the actual move did not have any paperwork on them, not even my bill after the move; and they simply left after doing their job. The owner contacted me later in the day for payment over phone. However, considering how good and professional they were in their job I'd certainly like to do business with them if needed again in the future. read more

Overall I'm super happy with this company. They were running over an hour late from my scheduled start time, which I didn't find out until I called the office to ask if they were on the way. However, once they got there, they were incredibly efficient, professional, and friendly. They got everything packed onto the truck quickly, took care to wrap things in blankets so nothing got damaged in transit, and got everything up to my second floor apartment within a couple hours. They even helped put the feet back on my couch and put the bed together. It's more than worth the price, and I couldn't believe how low that was. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

I hired this company for my move in May; and I've delayed writing this review to 'cool down' since I know it would not be published with the expletives I wanted to express about my experience with this company. I got a call the night before the move to add another person to the crew with an increase to the rate per hour; to which I agreed, as I thought it would speed up the duration of the assignment. I was mistaken. My movers arrived in a 'generic' rental truck, with no tie down strapping, no furniture blankets and only two 'basic' dollies. They set to work during which time I was asked to provide tools, 'blankets' to cover and move my items and cold drinks. My move DID NOT even include a refrigerator, range, or washer and dryer; but it took over NINE HOURS. The one cumbersome item in the move was a 12 cubic foot chest freezer. They ended up 'tumbling-end over end' on to it's top to get out my back door; so when they tried to pick it up, the lid came off. Needless to say, there are multiple scrapes and dents, as well as the door's rubber seal/gasket was damaged. Other items sustained damage as well from the lack of proper protection and handling. I did report my experience to the BBB. I cannot give this company any stars for their service. read more

I have never worked with more unprofessional people in my life. In any area of business. My mom scheduled a move for last Friday at 1pm. They didn't call her until she had already arrived at the storage unit to say they wouldn't be there until an hour later. They called again at the meeting time and said they were 'just finishing up'. They also made a ton of excuses as to why their service was so horrible including people not showing up to work. Why is that the customer's problem? We hired you for a service and you follow through on the service or at least give a good amount of notice and ample compensation. By 4:30pm they still hadn't called!!!!! My mom took off a half a day of work to do this, so not only was the stuff not moved, she lost the day's work money. We went home and hired Two Men and a Truck and they were professional, accommodating, and very nice. Do not hire these people!!! read more
