However, right before my inspection I found out these other services could not be provided. My home inspector provided great pictures and a lot of issues were in the report. However, my home inspector missed a lot of big concerns. The electrical was all messed up and needed rewiring (not too expensive to fix but this was a missed fire hazard). The new furnace was installed incorrectly and the furnace venting was too small ($5,000 bill). The electrical outlets weren't even grounded. How does a home inspector missed that?? It literally is just putting in a cheap testing device into the outlets to check them.

He identified the leak and corrected the problem that day. Additionally he went above and beyond to ID where the water had caused damage and where I had potential mold. He immediately began mold remediation that stopped the problem and began corrective measures. He then worked with me to schedule a time when I was traveling for work to come back and replace my cabinets, kitchen flooring and replace the insulation in my basement crawl space. This was big concern for me because I have a dog and the work would have made him anxious. Ryan scheduled my work in the middle of a personal project he was completing. It was not convenient for him but he knew it was the best for me and made it work. He got all this done, as he promised, during the 2 day period I was out of the house. I came back to a new floor and mold free kitchen and crawl space. As a bonus, he noticed my storm door had broken and fixed that for me without me ever mentioning it or asking him to do it. The price was very competitive. On the day of the inspection, the inspectors, Steve and Daniel, arrived a little early. They divided the work, and although it took some time to complete, it was clear they were very thorough and attentive to detail. They were friendly and respectful throughout the entire process. They didn't try to upsell any additional services. We asked about adding a radon test, and they matched the price our realtor had mentioned. Both inspectors were very knowledgeable. Even before sending the official report, they pointed out any major issues as well as smaller items I could handle myself. The report arrived quickly, by the end of the day. It was very detailed, full of photos, and included helpful tips. Their service also includes a warranty for anything that wasn't identified as a problem during the inspection.
