He replaced damaged boards on the overhang, replaced roof shingles on the entire roof, and even went out to Home Depot to buy some paint that I didn't have. Finally, he replaced the damaged pulley shade and replaced it with a new one. We needed emergency wood repair to our siding after severe ice damage. Few companies were available to help and those who were wanted to take on the job on one condition - that we agree to spend $4,000 - $6,000 to just inspect the damage! He did some floor demo work, installed kitchen appliances, installed a new kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal, and repaired a ceiling damaged from a water leak. We first contacted Tom because our dated front deck was in need of repair. He was immediately responsive and came over to look at our deck. Upon further inspection and partial demo, it was clear the rot was more pervasive and an entire rebuild would be necessary. Tom did a wonderful job on rebuilding our deck. It was a disaster when we called him. Piers were not supporting what they should, it sloped down 2", and was a wobbly mess. He came out when he said he was going to, gave us good advice, and tried to save us money when he could. It took slightly longer then expected because he couldn't get lumber with Covid-19. Poor guy was driving all over God's green earth trying to find good quality decking. Never complained. He never had anything delivered, he told us he wanted to pick out every piece of lumber himself.
