I've come here many times to try and buy stamps, and I don't think there's been one (1) time where they've had a full sheet of stamps for me to buy. They either have a half-sheet, 2-3 individual stamps, or direct me to use the kiosk, which I don't like doing. Second, a lot of the times when I try to use the drive-up blue collection box, it's stuffed full to the point of being impossible to even put mail into it. Finally, and perhaps most frustratingly, I had to mail something off after work one day, and dropped it in the outside blue box at 4:58 p.m., just in time for them to come out and collect it. Well, because it was an important piece of mail, I waited in my car for about thirty (30) minutes to make sure that they were going to collect it, and nobody ever came out to pick it up. So, as a result, it's going to look like I did not mail it out in time, when in reality, I rushed to the post office to make sure I got it off in time. The only thing that saves this office from a one-star review is that as a big fan of both minimalist and brutalist architecture, I love the aesthetic of the building. At first glance, it looks kind of ugly, but it gradually grows on you, and has become a signature part of the city's skyline. I just wish that I could say the same about the quality of service. While this post office might be the most accessible to most people, I would try to find a different location, even if it's a little less convenient, if you're able.

Had me wondering if people sending off Christmas gifts already! I have to say even though it was full, the line moved pretty fast. As for the customer service, one of the employees who assisted me was rude. I said good morning and all I got was a stare and silence! I am assuming she was in a mood, so all I needed her to do was ship my package:) The place was functional, clean and organized from what I saw. Again, I am not a regular customer there, so I can't speak any further. Long story short, I completed my task, and I was on my way!

Parking can be a challenge when the shopping center is packed. I have either parked in the adjacent parking spaces and walked across or I have circled around and caught one in the front on my lazy days. This post office is small, and in the center of the full-length shopping center, but it is definitely in the cut. In fact, if you are distracted you may overlook it. I like it because most days, if you are lucky, you can be in and out. On the days when it is a line, it moves fairly quickly. The line is single filed from the inside to the outside as their Covid safety precautions do not allow more than 3 in the service area at a time. There are people in the lobby preparing their packages to then get in line or drop off. There is no regulation on how many people that can be in the lobby area. Once you get to the desk in the service area, there's a clear barrier between you and the agent with hand sanitizer present. There is a self-service kiosk here which I've tried to operate multiple times, but I just cannot get it or it does not service my needs. I wish there were more self service options to alleviate the need to stand in line. The customer service is pretty decent here as well. The agents will make you return to the lobby from the service area if your package is not completely ready for shipment. I suppose this is for safety. They do provide you with tape for your package which is extremely helpful. If you have questions, someone will step out to help you. There has been times when there has been only one person working the desk and the line has moved very slow. I either wait patiently or leave and return another time. This is definitely a time of challenge for us all during this pandemic time, so when you take that into consideration, this location is doing pretty good.

He even knocks on the door and hand delivers my packages to me. Something that no other courier (including other USPS mail persons) does so it baffles me what happened on September 25, 2026. There was a package (and a rather personal one) that was slated to be delivered on this day. I know my driver's route (at least my section) like the back of my hand so I know when he drops off my mail/packages daily as it's always around the same time. In any case I was tracking the delivery for my package and noticed that (right on cue) around that specific time the tracking indicated the package had been handed directly to the resident at the intended address. Except that it wasn't. Looked all around my property thinking that maybe it was left somewhere as I had to step out momentarily from my residence. Checked with my nearby neighbors to see if they had got it by mistake. None of them did. Then finally several hours later a neighbor (who isn't even nearby) came knocking on my door to hand me my package and said they got it by mistake. A package they had for several hours, clearly saw the name on it wasn't theirs and an address not remotely close to theirs but they decided to open and rifle through it just to see what was inside (which again was personal and private things) before deciding to be honest and give to me what was mine. I'm upset with my neighbor for obvious reasons but I'm more upset with USPS as this should have never happened. For over 30 years I've lived at the same address and never had a problem with a package being delivered to my house. Even if I'm not home and I miss a delivery they leave it on my backdoor steps (where it's hidden out of sight from the street). I don't believe it was the usual courier who did this based on the comments I stated before. In any case as soon as I saw the tracking stated delivered and I didn't have it I called the USPS customer service number. They in turn told me there was nothing they could do since the tracking indicated it was delivered to the resident at my address and to contact the West Main Street office. For 3 hours I tried calling the West Main Street office for no one to pick up. Gave up at 5pm since that was their closing hours. The next day I went to the West Main Street location. Tried to find someone to talk to about my package delivery issue and before I could even finish my sentence the female attendant at the counter tells me I have to go to the South Lake Drive location if I have a problem with a delivery, then turns her back to go work on something else. By the way the location was empty and I was the only customer in line during that early part of the morning. In any case I go to the South Lake Drive location, which by the way had a huge line - nearly out the door, and they had only one associate working the counter. Why? This doesn't make any sense. In any case I get to the front of the line to speak with the associate to try to explain the issue with the delivery of my package and again I get cut off before I could finish. Tells me I need to speak with the route supervisor who isn't there. I ask if there's any supervisor I can speak to. Tells me 'no' and tells me the person I need to speak to doesn't work weekends. Advises me to comeback on a weekday to file a complaint which I tell him I can't do because of work. He then basically gives me a "sucks to be you" look and moves on to the next customer while I'm still trying to explain the issue, ushering me out of the line. Rude, discourteous and disingenuous is how I would describe my interactions at both the West Main Street and South Lake Drive locations. Couriers should know their routes, even the substitute ones and shouldn't be allow to mark packages as delivered to the right residence when clearly on this day the courier didn't. My house is clearly marked with my address numbers on both the back and front. If this driver was using GPS it would have taken them down one of two side roads (both of which are very close to the main 4-lane highway) and direct to my house (which can be seen from the side roads but not the highway due to a storage garage building placed on the property in front of my land owned by another entity). Because of the ineptness of the courier on this day they exposed my personal life and situation to a stranger who had no business receiving my package which allowed them to see the contents and know things about me that I wouldn't share with anyone I wasn't comfortable with sharing. I'm embarrassed, humiliated, outraged and filled with so much anger over this. It seems the only thing the other USPS locations (and customer call center) want to do is pass the buck with each other and keep one jumping from one place to the next. It's just inexcusable.

However, the employees did a great job of getting all the patrons through the line, while still addressing their needs, answering all their questions, and being generally helpful and polite. In addition, I was also pleasantly surprised at the fact that they had a full sheet of international stamps - most post offices these days only have a half or partial sheet, but they were fully stocked! In the future, I might go a few minutes out of my way to use this office!

Higher supervisors will cover for those under them. They are just a huge waste of time and only show a total lack of respect towards customers. They should be shut down - once and for all.
