We ordered patty melts, little cheeseburger all the way, little fry, and drinks. The food came out promptly, hot and as ordered. Service was courteous and efficient, though we had to inquire about our drinks. There's a nice large dining room, plus some patio tables outside. Stopped here for a dunch sandwich with my son. This was my second time here but first time eating here. Jacob was very welcoming while taking our order and even checked on us to make sure the sandwiches were good. The burgers were definitely good. Condiments were fresh and you don't have to pay extra for basic condiments. We also got a side of fries.The side of fries were worth it, hand cut, fresh, with just enough salt on them. I got one patty and my son got the double patty. The burgers and side of fries were around $25 and then tip $5 for a total around $30. My son later bought his own Oreo milkshake. I did get a sip and it was pretty creamy with just enough Oreo pieces not to get stuck in the straw. While we were there Jacob was sweeping the floors and cleaning tables. Hadn't been to Five guys in long time. So today we went to the one in Washington, Pa. To say it was not what I remembered is an huge understatement. The burgers were bland, luke warm at best-which is surprising since they just came off the grill. I didn't watch them cooking burgers, but it as if they were premade and warmed up on flat top. I like Five Guys, but man this place is expensive!! A cheeseburger is gonna cost you almost $9! This place is one notch above fast food (you order at the counter and wait for your number to be called) so I think the food should be more affordable. They are pretty fast though. Although they don't offer many options, (burgers and hot dogs only) they do offer many many toppings that are no extra cost. Even extra cheese is free! Best hamburgers and fries we have had in a long time. Fries are the way you would make at home. We had double burgers with cheese. My father-in-law said "It was the best burger he ever had." A little pricy for a burger but delicious. Cajun fries are always my go to. My biggest complaint is the music was so loud. The cashier barely could hear me and I could barely hear her. I even mentioned how loud it was inside, not even loud from other customers, just the overly loud music. Customers couldn't even hear the order numbers being called out. read more

I took my son and his girlfriend to have lunch here. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was busy. There were a lot of families with small children. As you are waiting to order there are boxes of peanuts you can scoop up and put in a paper dish. If you have a PEANUT ALLERGY this is NOT the place for you. The woman at the cash register took orders quickly and efficiently so the line moved quickly. I ordered a small cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles, and mayo and a fountain drink. I was given my receipt with my number on it. I went to the drink fountain and got my drink, napkins, and ketchup. Then I headed to find a table to wait for our food. None of the tables that were available had been wiped down so they were not clean. They called my number so I went up to get my food. Your food does not come on a tray. It comes in a brown paper bag. The nice thing is that they had number stickers on the outside of the burgers so we knew whose was whose. The person who ordered first was number one. The second was number two. You get the idea. My son ordered a small order of fries. There was a small cup of fries beside the burgers in the bag. On the bottom of the bag was another helping or two loosely in the bag. The small order fed all three of us. I was glad I had ordered a small cheeseburger because it was not small at all. Unfortunately there was so much mayo on the burger that it made the lettuce slimy and made the burger messy. My son has also ordered a milkshake. When I inquired about it as I picked up my bag of food I was told that they would get it to me ASAP. A few minutes later my number was yelled very loudly over the restaurant. I was half way to get it when it was yelled again. A man who was walking the other way commented, "You had better get that quick before she gets any angrier." We both laughed. It was true and awkward at the same time. We were still eating when a lot of the families left. A lady that I believe was the same woman who tool our order came out and rearranged the tables and cleaned them off. Food was good, sometimes hit or miss. One time our burgers were perfect, the next they were borderline burnt on the edges. Like most chain places you know what your getting into. Feel like it should be a little cheaper though, pretty expensive for what your getting, possibly worth it if the food is on point. Ordered takeout here. It was soooo good. They even wait to drop your fries which doesn't take long at all so that they're fresh when you get them and not just sitting in a bag getting soggy. I have to say I really like their burgers. The little burgers are just the right size for me, which helps because it can get expensive kinda quick. The service here was quick and friendly. It was a Tuesday at 7pm, so maybe that helped a bit. My wife and I both got a little cheeseburger and split a small fry and 2 cokes and it was still $20! Yikes! Absolutely awful! Been to many Five Guys, and frankly I'd suggest driving a half hour to Robinson and go to that Five Guys, because this one doesn't even compare. I've been there twice since they opened, and that's enough. Last night, I waited 10 minutes for my milkshake (that's only because the guy saw me staring him down) then waited another 5 minutes for our food (15 minutes total) when they called our number, the guy stood there with his back to me for another 30 seconds before acknowledging me. Then the fries were barely warm, and severely over seasoned. They were very spicy, and messy. My burger was missing the tomato, which was listed on the receipt. (So they just didn't feel like putting it on I guess) on a side note, the milkshake was very good. In closing.... Robinson is much better, this one sucks.... Bad.
