It's not often I give out 5 stars, but our server was prompt, pleasant, friendly and personable. She assisted in my beer selection, then I ordered the Cheese Balls while I waited. The cheese balls took forever to come out, no idea why, but they were devoured quickly. My steakhouse rate like a steak with the same juicy consistency, not saucy but juicy. My son's burger was as big as his head. I shrill don't know he ate it. The ambiance was friendly, local (which i will always prefer), room to move around, close to the highway but being tucked enough away that you have to search for it. We decided to try the newly invented brunch and it was absolutely amazing. I wish i didn't live so far away or i definitely would of enjoyed a bloody mary or mimosa but the coffee was spot on and my cup was always refreshed. This was first unexpected service at the Kopper Kettle. I have been here numerous times but have never encountered what I have encountered tonight. My waitress Lexi to my surprise boasted she was the manager. Everything I ordered , I got feedback I tried to tell it didn't matter about the extra amenities I ordered. If I am expected to pay extra so be it but it's what the customer wants satisfaction. Not resistance from the manager because she has to go out of her way. I received my meal to eat it. Got two-thirds of the way through and couldn't finish it. Waited for my waitress to return she never came back. One of the waiters cleared my table off and I informed him of my meal he told me to inform my waitress. FYI... Went a bit late on a Tuesday because it was so dang hot out. We were seated right away. The waitress that we had is always the best. Always so friendly and attentive, wish I knew her name but I always forget to ask. As an app we got their pretzels bites. And you can never go wrong with their specials. Truthfully they are the only place I ever get specials. One of Tuesdays specials was a shrimp wrap with jumbo shrimp. Lemme tell you that thing was loaded. I devoured it!! I've passed this place a million times. My wife said she's been following it for a while. I read peoples reviews on here and thought maybe it's worth a shot. We stopped in and the parking lot was jammed packed. Which is a good sign that it's popular. When we opened the door, it was one of those moments everyone stops eating and turns their head towards the door and peers into your soul or they're not used to seeing 6-7 300 lb men walk through the front door either :) The young lady hostess said it's been so busy and looked around quickly and found us a seat. We had ample time to look at the menu. The negative is on the drinks. No craft beer but just a lot of domestic, traditional imports, they did have a few local IPA's only because traditional breweries do not dabble in that space. I had a Stella which was fine. We ordered the fried pickles and they were delicious. My steak and cheese were awesome. I usually say hold the onion but not this time. It was really good. They have a great menu. Then I said can you tell me what wines that you have from J&D Wine Cellars.. she said no reds but let me look at the whites.. went and looked and none. She said we been calling but they never return our calls. I ended up going with the Stella again. Reviews said that they have hit or miss service. Stopped in, while traveling through with our Grandson and dogs. One of the reasons we chose them, was due to being animal friendly. The weather was hot and sunny that day, and I can't tell you, just how much I appreciated our waitress, Vanessa. She was VERY accommodating, not only with our service, but the dogs as well. You have no idea how much we appreciated her, or the fact that they were dog friendly. We'll definitely remember this place, when traveling through the area, the next time. Casual date night spot. We both ordered the Kopper kettle Long Island. They were both refreshing and ordered a second round. We ordered fried zucchini for an appetizer and the K's burger for our meal. The Fried zucchini came out and shortly after the burgers came out. Wish the burgers came out later to give us time to eat the zucchini. The burgers were delish with the banana hot pepper, provolone, and ranch. The runner sent our food to the wrong table and they had to remake our meals so we waited over an hour for our lunch while every table that arrived after us got their food before us. Tasty stop we found on yelp just off our route by a mile. Good solid offerings from burgers to pastas... sandwiches to wings. When we entered we noticed that tall tables are to the left but over on the right are regular height tables and the bar stretches across. We got there about 11:30 and easily snagged s table big by noon most tables were full. The staff was a little sparse but everyone was pitching in to keep things moving. Take note by the bar are the daily specials... so do a quick read before sitting down I had the Phili Cheesesteak made with cream cheese and housemade chips . Hubby ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. Both were tasty. I really liked the wheat bread roll. This was for us a great spot as we needed to get off the road... but it looked like most were from the area. I do like local finds. Checked this place out for the first time and was not disappointed. I've always heard good things about this place. Warning parking is kind of crazy and it seems to always be busy. There is a side gravel parking area if you can't find a spot close to the building. We came here for dinner with friends and wanted something super casual so this place was perfect. We were seated right away and our waitress was great. She was friendly and attentive during our time there. We all started out with drinks from the bar and got the loaded nachos as an appetizer. The drinks and appetizer came out pretty quickly and were all good. I ordered the bbq wings and hot pepper cheese balls. The wings were really good and I'm pretty picky when it comes to wings. They were cooked just right, not soggy at all. The bbq sauce was nice and thick and perfectly tangy. The hot pepper cheese balls were pretty amazing as well. Awesome prices, solid food. Good, local place. Super busy at an off peak hour, service attentive. Food average, standard fare. Does the job.

A normal family favorite of ours beginning to go downhill. Last two trips have been a bad experience. Cold food, misplaced orders, no rush to correct the problem. Mistakes will happen and thats okay. But, if you screw up an order (2 times in a row now), it shouldn't take the kitchen 40 minutes to get my food prepared. Put a rush on it. You need to do better. read more
