Little Bacon Cheeseburger

Wow, this is my first time at Five Guys and I am impressed by how delicious the burger and fries are. it's quite authentic and very fresh which differentiates their burger from other franchises. The service was fast. I do wish they had a drive thru, I am pretty sure the traffic would be heavier if they had one. The restaurant itself is very casual, and laid back.

Solid burger and friendly service. I'm never mad at eating at this location. They keep it pretty clean and tidy and there's always seating available. The burger is always flavorful and I love me some grilled shrooms and jalapeños. The fries can be hit and miss though. Sometimes they absolutely nail them and they're slightly crisp on the outside but still soft on the center but sometimes they're just plain greasy or - even worse - soggy. Can we talk about what happened to the prices here though?! Yes, inflation suck, I get it. But $25 for a burger, fries, and a drink just feels crazy for a fast food spot.

Friendly staff, good burgers and you get a ton of fries even if you order a small. . Very clean sitting area. Quick service. A little expensive, but still worth it.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, seated right away, and enjoyed exceptional service from start to finish. My husband loved his pastrami sandwich, and my burger was cooked to perfection. The homemade potato salad is an absolute must-try! As we were leaving, a lovely longtime employee (26 years!) kindly thanked us, shared a bit of Burger City's history, and invited us to come back--which we absolutely will. If you're ever in Vacaville, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

If…read moreyou're looking for a down-home feel for lunch or dinner, this little spot has great food and reasonable prices. I had their chipotle burger and it was a great mix of salty, spicy, and juicy. My regular fries were good and crispy, which is how I like them. My brother ordered a full order of fish and chips (four pieces) with beer-battered fries and they came out golden. He also got a small side salad with tomatoes, red onions, and croutons. We were very happy with our meal. The service is also great. The staff is friendly, including the cook staff who talked to us through the pass window. They were attentive with drinks, sauces for dipping, extra napkins, and handling our bill. The two TVs in the dining area had a football game and a poker tournament playing, which was a new form of entertainment for our dinner time. The space is adjacent to a bar, which was not boisterous. We probably could have gone into the bar and ordered dinner there too. This was a nice place to have a midweek meal. I will always go back. What a great small business find!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a couple of employees at the balloon archway at the front of the restaurant, handed each of us a National Tri Tip Day sticker and told about the specials they had for this event: free tri tip sandwiches for the first 100 people, $5 draft beers and a chance to win free tri tips for 1 year. They were decently busy, so we opted to order at the outside pickup window and take our order home to eat. We ordered 4 tri tip sandwiches to take home ($43.21 with tax). When I opened up my Buckhorn Rewards App, I saw that I had an 1 year celebration reward (5oz Burnt Ends w/ Fried Onion Strings), I redeemed that with my order. At the ordering counter the had a QR code to enter their "Free Tri Tips for a Year" drawing, which I entered. Both their tri tip sandwiches and Burnt Ends were delicious! They had some side sauces (chipotle ranch and sweet fire BBQ) that I poured onto the sandwich and then I dipped the sandwich in their Au Jus which was a great combination. I believed the tri tip sandwiches are normally $15.50, but were $9.99 for today's event, it was a great deal. Buckhorn BBQ and Grill is a great place for the BBQ meat lover. Their prices are not cheap, but the quality is there. They do have some deals on the menu and specials on certain days such as $10 for 3 fish tacos on Fridays. Don't forget to join their rewards program for free food.

I was shocked to learn that this is only Camille's second shift behind the bar, but she managed to handle hungry, cranky diners like a pro. Always get the same thing here tri-tip and the crispy chicken salad. This restaurant gets five stars because it's consistent on the long drive home from Sac to San Francisco. It's nice to be able to stop along the way and know exactly what you're going to be eating. Tonight was an extra bonus because Camille is quite the conversationalist and a great addition to this restaurant

We were in Downtown Vacaville for an event that ended at 8pm and resorted to Yelp for place to eat…read more Falafel & Gyro was still open, just over a mile away; and with a 4.8 Yelp rating, this place intrigued me even more. It was a 5 minute drive, located in a small shopping center. The left side of the store is facing the parking lot while the entrance is on other side. Plenty of parking. We were welcomed by the owner, Safi. Everything on their menu was reasonably priced. I initially ordered the Combo Plate and lamb & beef Gyro; then after I paid, I saw the Philly Cheesesteak and had a craving for that instead. I asked if I could still change my order and pay the difference in cash, Safi changed my order and told me not to worry about the difference. We dined in, a few minutes later our food came with generous portions and absolutely delicious! We were also given orange slices and complimentary baklava. The baklava was so flaky and not soaked in syrup which, I like. I asked if they make their own baklava and was told that it's ordered from Sacramento to support another local business! Thank you Yelp Fam for the recommendation! I too recommend this place if ever in Vacaville.

And delicious, I would definitely get it again. My companion got a falafel gyro, she said it was perfect. The falafel patties are flavorful and not dry, which is sometimes the issue with falafel. The restaurant is comfy, with the cleanest quick-food bathroom I've seen in a LONG time. It was very quiet at 2pm on a Friday. Our food was cooked to order, so it tasted fresh and was hot. We split a piece of baklava. I didn't think I like baklava, based of all of my previous experiences with it. I stand corrected! I'm tempted to stop and get more to take home when we drive back through Vacaville.

What a gem! We…read morevisited this place for the first time as part of a birthday party (but it was actually a cover for the birthday celebrant to propose to his girlfriend -- teehee -- which he did, on the second-floor balcony, and our group got to watch and cheer from the ground). It was a cold afternoon/evening in December, but we dressed warmly and stayed by the firepit. There were maybe 4-6 other clusters of people there also, and definitely another birthday party going on because the guests were singing along loudly to a special request playlist that the staff played on the speaker for them. I thought it was a good number of people considering how cold and dark it got. Our group brought a bunch of kids, and they pretty much explored the grounds the whole time -- feeding the animals, making friends with other kids, and having a blast. Food from the food truck was fine, just be careful leaving your food out unattended because some random dog gobbled our burger when we weren't looking. It's a beautiful spot. We should all be so grateful for having access to it, basically for free. Drinks were good. Good vibes. Super relaxing to be out in nature. Friendly staff. As of this review, you can reserve areas for parties/events for free, and you can bring in your own food and drinks, excluding alcohol, of course, since they are a brewery. I'm sure it gets crazy busy during the warmer months, but it is worth a visit even in the cold. Just dress right.

Though near the 80, Ruhstaller Farm is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There's no conspicuous signage. It's easily possible to drive right by & never know what's here. & yet, the few times I've been here, generally later on a Friday or Saturday night, it's obvious that Ruhstaller Farm is the busiest place for many miles around in any direction. It's somewhat puzzling to me. Add in the idyllic bucolic vibes, & this place feels is a bit surreal to me. There's something about the frolicking farm ambiance here that reminds me of the Aliki Farms skit from the 1st episode Portlandia.* So how do I know about Ruhstaller Farm? A friend I homebrewed with for years lives in Dixon. Being beer nerds enough to brew it ourselves, we'd stumbled across Ruhstaller beers a long time ago. That early stuff was rough. The beers pouring now at Ruhstaller Farm are definitely a drastic improvement. The bar staff has always been friendly. & really, this is a nice place to relax & enjoy a beer. But that's it. I'll come through once in a while & have a beer or 2. I'm not staying. No matter how much anyone might say they'd love me to stay, & I'm absolutely not putting on a frilly dress. *https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If41cZMBgqA
