We called 5 times to place an order and every time we would get hung up on, finally they took our order and when we showed up they had told us to wait for our order while they were chatting it up and laughing come to find out our order had been ready for awhile. We come home to eat and our food looks less than appealing with burnt fries, tasting stale. Our burgers were soggy from sitting in the bag for who knows how long and the ketchup packets given were covered is syrup or something super sticky where all 15 packs were stuck together. The way they do orders for burgers is complete rubbish. It's a waste of time to list off all the basics every place puts on a burger (the basics such as lettuce, mayo or sauce, onions, tomatoes). Also, the twat who took my order was super passive aggressive and looked at me like a complete idiot when I attempted to order the burger like I do at every other burger place in existence. Now let's talk about how absolutely atrocious the fries are. To put it quite plainly, they taste like actual dirt. It is almost as if they didn't wash them, cut them up, fried them, and then sprinkled more dirt on top. After eating one, I thought to myself "bloody hell what did i just put in my mouth." (thats what she said). Lastly, I would like to address how insanely overpriced this shit stand is. A cheeseburger is almost $12 and it does not come with a drink or fries. A small fry is almost $5. Five guys burgers, what can I say about this place. Food was over priced, and the taste was blahhhhhhh. Had the veggie sandwich which was okay because it wasnt smashed and smothered in the grease that use over and over. My son squeezed his French fries and you can see the grease on them. The bacon cheese dog looked like something you would feed your dog. The cheeseburgers where left half eaten by my sons who then asked to go next door to Pieology. A couple of months back, my friends and I had left a review of 2 Five Guys employees drinking alcohol while on their break. I was contacted by the store manager who did apologize and would investigate what happened. He stated he would send a gift card to me (which I never received) for my troubles. Well last night, around 7:30 PM, my wife and I decided we would head back to try it out again. Literally when we parked, two 5 guys employees were sitting in a silver Acura vehicle, smoking from a bong pipe. I am honestly astounded at the level of filth and carelessness (especially during a pandemic) this organization has. I can assure you, I will never go back. I stopped at this shopping center for Baja Fresh, but when I saw Five Guys I had read about coming to Santa Rosa, I had to try it. The wait for my food was a little too long. The free peanuts didn't do anything for me. They were messy and to me it seemed tacky to have a box of open food next to the door... and on a stack of boxes, which made it look like they lacked storage space. The food comes in a bag instead of a tray, which is not a big deal, but I would have preferred a tray. The burger was good. The bun seemed cheap, but still tasted good. The patties were great and the grilled onions I ordered helped. The fries were good and there were tons of them. They came in a cup, which was full, but there was enough thrown in the bag to fill two cups. And the price... it cost over $9 for a burger, fries, and no drink. Born and raised in southern CA (aka: In-n-Out kids for life), the husband and I had to get a taste of the east coast "rival". Being first timers, we walked in looking beyond confused. Hubby's order: A little cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, and tomato. Fries to share. Little cheeseburgers have one patty of meat, while a regular cheeseburger has two. A little cheeseburger was PLENTY when paired with fries. Especially as our regular sized fries were flowing out of their cup and lining the bottom of our bag -- probably two or three cups worth. Score! Oh and something I appreciated that I wish all burger places would implement is that on the receipt attached to the bag each burger is numbered. Then the burgers come with stickers on top of the wrapper with correlating numbers. Simple and genius. Now on to taste. My husband and I both definitely thought the burgers were good. They had a good, home-cooked taste with awesome quality of meat. We figured it tasted as if you had all of the great ingredients you wanted lined up at home, you could probably recreate a Five Guys burger. But it's far cheaper and easier to head towards the glowing red sign. My husband and I both agreed we'd come back just for the fries. Sorry In-n-Out, but Five Guys has you beat in this category. Though I would probably fight to the death for In-n-Out's spread (sauce) that I normally smother other my fries... Hmm, tough toss up. I should have read other comments before coming in. I am picky about my calorie intake and when I choose to splurge and have an experience like this it is very disapointing. Been going here for the past 5 years or so with reliable service and great food. But it seems some of the employees have changed around this time upon visiting. And many many mistakes happened on my order. Was given a small fry when I ordered a large. Was given mushrooms when I never mentioned them and given no cheese or mayo. The burger may as well have been a slab of meat and bread with old nasty lettuce and a lack of anything I ordered. The service was terrible too. You can't hear your order number because the person at the counter doesn't speak up at all. Orders were backed up. Questions were answered with a blank stare and zero response. Looks from the range of reviews that people either love it or hate it...with no in-between! We happen to love it! It's fast food, people...so keep in mind you're probably getting entry level workers. We've never had a problem with service nor with an incorrect order. What makes this unique is everything is cooked to order and not sitting under lamps . Generous portions and many toppings = a bit higher price. My only complaint is the blasting music. You can get a headache really fast if you don't get out of there quick! The burgers are what you would get at some backyard kids birthday party - half assed by the parents because they are too busy doing other things. Negative shout out to the server Jonathan M. I came into this place earlier and had my order taken by this guy who was apathetic as all hell. On my day off from work I like to pick up a burger and relax. I ordered a burger with "two patties regular not cajun" and was served just two patties on a bun. No toppings, no condiments, just two bone dry patties on one bone dry bun. I will not be spending any more money here after I was charged $7 for a tin foil wrap full of disappointment.
