Love five guys soooo good and their fries are to die for and the employees are so nice!

I usually love this place. But tonight they fell short of the mark. The fries were piping hot and good. But my cheeseburger was only warm at best. The cheese hadn't even started to melt. The food is very good but the products inside and the service was very much under par.

As a chain.. The food is of course the same as any other Five Guys, but I was here with a friend at 3pm.... Not busy at all and a female worker decided to sweep the dining area... While flinging the metal chairs around banging them into the tables and other chairs, SUPER LOUD AND ANNOYING. Then, the drink station apparently over flowed? Well half the dining area was flooded... My go-to in town for a greasy burger (when I'm not drinking downtown). Management is great, the crew here has stellar teamwork. I've come in for dinner rushes, lunch rushes, and at random times throughout the day and I'm always in and out in the same amount of time. Never had a bad burger here. read more

Today I visited Five Guys Burgers for the first time. Immediately I was greeted with smiling faces. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate milk shake. The cheeseburger was to die for. Absolutely delicious. Five Guys Burgers served the best burger on my list. I love cheese BURGERS and I am very hard to please. The atmosphere was great. It's as you'd expect from a Five Guys. This location was crazy busy. The place was clean and the service was good. There was an employee who was crazy nice, greeted everyone, held the door and made sure the employees behind the counter knew how many people were coming in. Don't bother ordering fries. I ordered a small Cajun fry and only got a quick small dump in the bottom of my sack of regular fries. since when did a small become nothing more than a few fires in the bottom of the sack? This place is a chain, but I honestly can't think of a better burger in Peoria, and I grew up here. There are so many reasons I love this place. The burgers are huge, and you can get pretty much anything you want on it (no extra charge for most things). Sure, you will pay more for a burger here than at a fast-food place, but you're paying for a better product. And who doesn't love munching on peanuts in line and being able to throw the shells on the ground. The fries are awesome too. This company is also a great story on entrepreneurship at it's best. It's definitely worth a quick read if you're interested in that. Advice for 1st timers to this restaurant: the fries servings are HUGE! One order can easily be split between 2 or 3 people. read more

Overhyped and overpriced. I don't get what the big deal is about this place. The burgers are just "burgers", nothing special about them. Yes, they have lots of toppings but so what? You can get most of that anywhere that sells burgers if you ask for it. 3 of us ate lunch here and each got a burger, drink and we shared a large fries and our bill was $45. I think this place is a little over priced for a fast food joint. I mean, once you buy your burger/fries/drink ALL separate it really adds up quick and feeding a family gets pricy. I will say that the staff is 5 stars. This was my first time so next time I'll know a little more. The beef seems to have NO Fillers 100% but my burger (I got the double) was dry. The fries weren't anything special and many were greasy. McDonalds are much better. They did have a lot of toppings and maybe I should have added more. All I had were Mustard, onion, and pickle. The best way I can describe this place is...it's bar and grill quality burgers and fries without the option of having a cold Sam Adams with your meal...burger and fries and a drink is gonna be around $10-12. If you have 10 or less people in your group just order one small fries for the group or you'll be tossing half of them away...
