Bacon cheeseburger in a bowl (no buns)
    Claribel V.

It was my first time trying this Five Guys location. The food took a while, but they were very busy when I went. I took advantage of a buy one get one free burger coupon on the app, and I'm glad it was available because $14.99 for a bacon cheeseburger is pretty steep. I got my boyfriend a bacon cheeseburger and ordered one for myself in a bowl without the bun. I like that they offer the bowl option since I'm trying to reduce my carb intake. My order was delicious. I got it with grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, tomatoes, lettuce, relish, and pickles. I asked for ketchup, mustard, and mayo, but they didn't put them on the burger, so I ended up asking for them on the side. For the bowl option, I do wish they added more veggies. I also love the free peanuts here. The shells are salty and the peanuts are really crunchy. I don't go to Five Guys often because I think it's pretty pricey, but I had a positive experience at this location. I'd come back again if they have promotions like the BOGO.

Ricky iglesias is the one... he had a crazy rush hour that I missed luckily. And still had the greatest energy... made me buy more food just cause of his kindness!!!! Place is clean even though they have that peanut vibe He is what customer service is... five guys food already taste better! It will taste even better Please please keep good people like rocky around... give him a bonus a raise ... acknowledge his hard work!!!! Ricky needs to be training others! Appreciate the welcome vibes... I WILL come again just cause of Ricky

I actually never see Five Guys around much in SoCal. I used to get it pretty often when I lived in the northeast bc there was no in n out! lol But when I'm not in the mood to wait in an in-n-out lately.. and if my better half isn't making burgers at home, Five guys is a solid choice Food ordered = * CHEESEBURGER -- 12.99 for a cheeseburger (they call it a cheeseburger but it actually comes with 2 patties, a double quarter pounder )and unlimited toppings. --For the size, freshness and quality- it's not a bad deal when it's just you dining! You get to pick as many toppings and they cook it right when you order with an open kitchen. It may take awhile if it's lunch time but still worth it for the quality *I usually grab this to go and noticed a bunch of adult guys while I was waiting ordering their special - they have a special for 13.99$ which is a "little" burger + little fry and drink. A little burger is actually a regular burger that is 1/4 patty so if you want a drink and fries, this might be a good special for you Service is always friendly and helpful. I was helped by a cheery cashier today, Adrien. I'm really not quite sure why this location has bad reviews, it's a 5 guys lol and it's super clean and good service and I haven't had a bad burger whenever I come in Sporadically Overall - I would totally come back whenever I crave a fresh cheeseburger when I don't want to wait for in n out, and if the prices stay the same! Large Cajun Fries and junior Bacon Cheeseburger
    Christine H.

I have always been a bit ashamed at never having tried Five Guys, but when I did, boy was I in love! Sure gives In n Out a run for its money and no crazy wait times! Burgers and fries are made fresh when you order and I would definitely recommend t getting the Cajun fries. Mmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it! The difference between the junior and regular is not bun size, but whether you want a single patty or double. I get the junior bacon with bbq sauce and it is sooooo yummy! The staff is always happy and friendly, and look like they enjoy their jobs, which I love! 90 minute free parking in the back, free on Sundays.

A blood spot on the door.

I had a very strange experience here.... You should always listen to your gut. I came in on 9/2/2025 at around 11:30 AM and ordered a burger. I ate my order, then headed to the restroom to wash my hands. When I opened the door, I CUT MY HAND on the door's sheet metal - because the sheet metal's edge is pointed up by the door handle. This is a sharp edge. If you look at the pictures that I posted, you can see exactly what I'm talking about. This completely freaked me out. To make it worse, when I inspected the door, I could see what seemed to be blood. Here is the weird part: i don't think it was my blood; the pattern on the door was not consistent with my wound - it was so strange, and is honestly giving me awful thoughts. To add insult to injury, the burger was not good - both buns were very soggy. I'm not even sure how that could be because I grabbed the burger as soon as it came out. A few hours later, around 3:30 PM, I started getting a stomachache and having to go to the bathroom repeatedly. (Sorry for the TMI) When I walked into this place, I distinctly remember the little voice in my head saying," Don't eat here, it seems off, go next door to Mendocino".... But I figured, I'm already here and haven't tried this before. That was a mistake. It was a terrible experience, and I will never eat at a Five Guys again.

When you come in during prime weekday lunch hour and you're the only party in the joint.... Should give you much pause. The order taker was condescending and did not explain the menu to us first-timers well. Everything is a La carte. Great for those who like foot high burgers and add-ons. Bad for those who have teens who just want the basics. Greasy, flavorless burgers with half wilted lettuce and elastic cheese, and the fries were definitely not matching what their wall plaques touted. We were disappointed because it was our first time at this franchise and we were passing through from our JPL tour. We had high hopes and expectations because of the brisk business that the Orange location has near our homes. The fact that you have to fight for a parking space in the lot (first 90 min free) made our eventual mediocre experience even more disappointing.

Single patty cheeseburger $11, you can get 2 In-N-Out double doubles that taste better

1st time customer, craving a good burger tonight and only 10 minute walk from my place. Like the cult of Howlin' Rays, the cult of Five Guys is just that -- the faithfuls will tell you it's the best ever and don't mind the high price-to-portion ratio. I disagree. The beef patties are cooked to order, not microwaved (nothing wrong in itself), and taste very juicy and fresh -- BUT bland. It's missing that grilled smoky hickory wood flavor that a great burger should have. My cheeseburger has 1 slice of cheese, 1 patty and 2 skinny buns for $11. If you added a milkshake it would be over $20. It's no longer enough to justify high price for the best quality meat (you can get 'best quality' everywhere now) if the taste isn't there. Healthy and qualty do not have to mean boring taste. Five Guys just tase boring. I'm no fan of the cult of In-N-Out either but at least their burgers look more appetizing and are cheaper. Better burgers in L.A. for value, quality AND taste -- Pie 'n Burger, Bill's Burger, Chroni's Famous Sandwich Shop, HiHo Cheeseburger.

This place is always recommended to me on Yelp anytime I try to find places to eat in Little Tokyo…read moreand technically it's in the Arts District, but it's within walking distance. I've had my brother and several friends say that it's good and since we were closer to this area for a pop up event, we dropped by and I finally had a chance to try it. We visited during the final game of the World Cup, so there was no more indoor dining, but there's a couple bench tables outside at the side of the building. Part of the building shades over the seating, so even on a pretty hot day, this worked in a pinch and there was a slight breeze too, thank goodness. Staff was helpful and and answered our questions. They also brought our order out to the tables outside, which was nice. They also took our trash and tray back when we were done too. Each table has ketchup, brown and spicy mustard if need be. Inside, you order and pay at the cashier, grab a number, and they bring it to you. There's a bunch of sausage links on display, as well as the sodas and you can see some of the beer that they have too. For our Sunday lunch, we got the: 1) Sunset Zero soda: -It's an imported German soda. Love that there's a zero sugar version. It's a citrus cola with ending vanilla notes. Way better than some of the orange Pepsi/Pepsi Fire they ran in the past. Nice to try. 2) Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers: -Unique combination of predator and prey meats all encased into one sausage. Also, not often you can get these meats as well. -Slight spicy kick to it from the jalapenos and rich, buttery texture of the meats together. -Each hot dog comes with 2 toppings and we got caramelized onions and sauerkraut with this which added a nice sour and sweet taste to it too. -I liked this the most of the 2 of them. 3) Pheasant with Herbs de Provence: -Nice savory flavor, but I was a fool and ordered this with the sweet and spicy peppers as a topping since they were different from the other toppings we got and I mostly just tasted the bitter aftertaste of the peppers that sort of overpowered the meats. My mistake if anything since the bites with just meat and mustard were delicious. 4) Groot of Belgian Fries: -Huge serving, way too much for 2 people especially with 2 hot dogs and we sadly could not finish it, but at the very least it came with 2 dipping sauces. -Before ordering this, I didn't groot referred to anything other than a Marvel character. -Fries had a rich, deeper flavor than standard fries, nice slight crispiness. We got it with curry ketchup and sundried tomato mayo. The tomato mayo was fine, definitely a lighter flavor and since the fries tasted so rich on their own, I feel like the curry ketchup was a more flavorful and better match. I love a good hot dog, so being able to try it with more exotic meats, flavors, and sauces makes it definitely worth stopping by.

The space has a dark, industrial vibe, and I loved seeing the sausage display when you walk in. We shared the duck & bacon, mango jalapeño, rattlesnake & rabbit, and the Klein. The duck & bacon was easily our favorite. It was juicy and packed with flavor. The mango jalapeño had a nice balance of sweet and savory but I wish it had more heat. The rattlesnake & rabbit was interesting but could've used a little more salt. I also loved the toasted buns, sauerkraut, and caramelized onions. The fries were fluffy inside but I wish they were a little crispier. I also loved their beer selection and they let us sample a few before ordering. If you go definitely get the Kasteel Tropicale!! It was my favorite beer of the night! The service was great and the cashiers gave us awesome recommendations. Overall, I'd definitely come back. It's a fun spot to grab beers and sausages with friends!

The Perry's Classic Detroit hot dog was bomb and I added jalapeños which was the cherry on top for me. The chili, the sausage, and the jalapeños all came together perfectly. It was messy in the best way and packed with flavor. The staff has always been friendly, the gentlemen with who is tall, long hair, (forgot his name) making our sandwiches was awesome.
