Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, regular fries, regular drink
Barbra M.

The food was good, although my bun was cold (not just room temperature- but actually cold). In fact the cheese on my burger didn't melt completely. I was happy to have unlimited Diet Dr Pepper (always a plus)! The fries were hot and the size of the regular order was generous. The biggest issue was that we waited over 15 minutes for our meal, and they weren't really that busy.

Cheeseburger and Large Fries

Well it has been a while since we have been to Five Guys. We stopped at this one in New Braunfels for a last minute lunch. It was pretty busy and the prices for burgers caught me off guard. But we stayed. I ordered the large Bacon cheeseburger, my niece order the small Bacon cheeseburger and the misses got a small cheeseburger. We also ordered a large fry and some drinks. Well almost $50 and a couple of minutes later our order came out. And wow!!! It was great! Delicious burgers and fresh cut fries!! The service was great as well. I will go back. Also you get a ton of fries!!!

We were in the area and craving some good fresh food because during this pandemic it seems most restaurants are serving sub par food at premium prices. Sadly this visit was no different. The burgers were okay, fries good but, the prices had gone up...$32.22 for burgers and fries. I can go next door, Whata size it, spend half as much and get the same quality as I received this time.

Nice lettuce!

I like 5 guys even though it's way over priced. so every once in a while I'll splurge and buy some. but lately it seems like the quality of food has gone down, pretty much everywhere. I bought a $13 burger last night, it had 3 tiny brown rotten pieces of lettuce and 1 small piece of bacon broken into 3 pieces. it was pathetic, and I think they reduced the size of their beef patties. i got the $7 order of fries too that were a bit undercooked but acceptable I guess. when paying these prices for burger and fries they need to be outstanding or AT;EAST ACCEPTABLE ..... I was a chef for 15 yrs so I fully understand the restaurant and HOSPITALITY industry. now for the employees, when handing me my order I said thank you and smiled, the person did not even acknowledge me, no eye contact, no your welcome or thank you for coming in. very cold and unwelcoming. whoever made the burger looked in the pan of lettuce, saw the rotten brown scraps and thought yes, this is acceptable to serve someone. literally all they had to do is reach in the cooler for a fresh head of lettuce and cut off a couple pieces. there were 5-6 employees standing around, it was slow, it's not like they busy and just trying to keep up. people just don't give a anymore and the customer pays the price. management needs to do a better job paying attention to what their employees are serving people. Stuff like this always makes regret not just eating at home.

The burgers and hot dogs bomb, get it with extra cheese and make sure the cheese is melted. When theyre hot and fresh, this is a 5 star burger. A couple of times ive been here the cheese wasnt melted and the burger wasnt hot, and it wasnt near as good. It is pretty expensive, too. 3 cheeseburgers, a BLT, a hot dog, and 2 shakes comes out to almost $65. Ill keep coming here until the P. Terrys down the road opens up.

Incredibly tiny overcooked burger

Love this place. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is their stupidly overpriced fries. Come on, $3.29 for small fries!!!

My mom and I decided to grab lunch at In-N-Out today. I'd only been there once before, but I…read moreremembered loving it. When we pulled into the parking lot, it was absolutely packed. Walking inside was even worse, it was unbelievably crowded. There wasn't a single open table, and my mom and I barely managed to find seating on stools in the very back. My mom wasn't a fan of how overcrowded it was. She said they really need to enforce a max capacity because it was so crowded you could actually smell people's body odor. On the positive side, our order was taken quickly, and the food came out really fast. The burger was incredible. It was perfectly seasoned, and the bun had a nice toasted crunch around the edges. The cheese fries, though... hard pass. The cheese hardened almost immediately, so every time I picked up a fry, the whole thing came up in one giant clump. Freddy's definitely has much better cheese fries. My mom ordered regular fries, and she described them as "spongy." After trying it myself, I knew exactly what she meant. They didn't have that crispy, fluffy texture, instead it had a spongy texture. The pink lemonade was another disappointment. It was way too tangy for both of us. Overall, I really enjoyed the burger, and it's good enough that I'd absolutely go back. I just think In-N-Out could improve the overall experience by managing the crowd better, using a cheese that doesn't harden so quickly. and tweaking the pink lemonade recipe.

One bite and I was right back to that very first Fatburger, standing in a tiny burger shack with the smell of grilled beef drifting into the street. To me, this is the quintessential West Coast burger, so seeing a Fatburger open in Texas still feels a bit surreal. They're still doing it the way I remember: fresh, handmade patties, perfectly seasoned, piled with crisp veggies and whatever condiments you want--because here, they don't force a "house style" on you. I always get mine "all the way" with mayo, mustard, and a slice of classic American cheese. And yes, I order their XXL because I'm slowly training up for the Triple X challenge I dreamed about as a kid. The fat fries--Fatburger's take on steak fries--still hit the spot. The service is friendly, and despite everything being cooked to order, the food comes out faster than you'd expect. The dining room is small, just like the old shacks I grew up with, but there's extra seating on the patio if you need it. All I can say is this: once you've had a Fatburger, you'll never look back at that other California burger chain.

Because of that, I've recently found myself searching for family-friendly restaurants with large outdoor areas. That way, if my little one gets fussy, I can walk around with him, and we're not stuck inside worrying about disturbing other diners. Freiheit Country Store was perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is large and spacious, and the overall atmosphere is very family-friendly. It has a relaxed vibe that feels just right for families with young children. One small observation: I do wish some parents paid a little more attention to their kids. It had recently rained, and a boy was throwing rocks into a puddle, causing water and mud to splash onto my husband's back. We politely asked him to stop, but he continued, and we couldn't spot a parent nearby. As for the food, it was served quickly, arrived hot, and tasted great. No complaints there. My husband also appreciated the simple and efficient ordering process. Overall, this is a great spot to grab a bite to eat, enjoy a cold beer, and relax in a family-friendly environment. We'll definitely be back

Plenty of parking at this location and easy to get to off the I-10. Service and cleanliness were quite good. Willie's is a little confusing in their ordering system as you can order at the register, or from the waiter directly. Depending on who you place the order with, you can either pick up your drinks yourself, or the wait staff will do it. Personally, I'm a fan of their burgers, brisket potatoes, and margaritas. Avoid the crawfish (when in season) and the steak fingers at all costs, though! You have been warned. Desserts are generally good across the board, be sure to try the Bourbon Bread Pudding and the delightful Peach Cobbler. Terry's today our order was taken immediately by whom I believed to be a supervisor. Once completing our order we pulled up to pay and asked to add an extra cookie onto our order, the supervisor said this was no problem and gave us our updated total. After completing our payment the manager was switched out with a regular associate. She greeted us and gave us our drinks, a few minutes later we were off with our food waiting at the light when all of a sudden the employee was up at our window while we were waiting with our extra cookie, she mentioned it wasn't added in the bag with the switch up but she wanted to make sure we had our full order and so that we wouldn't be disappointed. This level of dedication and service to the customer is far above and beyond. I hope the young lady who completed our order knows that we very much appreciate her getting our item to us even when we were off the property waiting at the light. This immediately improved our moods and we were genuinely shocked because you NEVER see that type of service.
