I always leave so full I Dont know why I get fries with this cheeseburger and drink. I can never finish a kid size fries. This burger is really good and filling the topping are what you want them to add. The service is fast and friendly. Its expensive. $21.44 all in. Never disappoints. You will wait for up to ten minutes to eat that fresh made burger with toppings of your choice but its worth it. Clean fast food spot.

Nice and clean!!

I don't know what happened to Five Guys but the last 3 visits, they are now no better than McDonalds but at more than double the McDonalds price. $10 for a hamburger, no cheese, is excessive. Even the burger meat is exactly as thin as McDonalds burger meat. Making things worse, everytime I visit, they prioritize group orders and ignore my single burger. 30 minutes for a simple burger is atrocious especially when they skip your order and do the orders of other people after you. Oh, and the restaurant is disgusting, just look at the picture. Never again. 3 strikes and you're out.

All I hafta to say CAJUN BAG FRIES!!! Friday 13th was straight up fantastic cause of an evening dip into our fav local of 5Guys. Picked up a hot dog, large fries, and bacon cheeseburger. The Large fried were basically like 2 orders of large fries cause the bag have the equivalent of 1 order of fries.

Not too big on burgers but this place definitely changed that mindset. I tried Five Guys when it first opened but haven't been back until recently. Totally forgot how good the burgers were! I got a Little Bacon Cheeseburger and it was soo good!! Everything was just perfect, from having a burger patty that was crispy on the outside, to melted cheese and super crispy bacon to go with it. Also tried the cajun fries which was amazing! They don't really offer combos. You have to add on the drink and fries, but with a super filling burger, I can see why making it a combo isn't a common thing. They also have free peanuts which is great! Good way to occupy time while they make your burgers fresh! Overall, this visit just got me hooked and I'll definitely be back soon!

Free Peanuts!!!!

First of all: love love love the free peanuts! I always take some back to work with me to munch on throughout the day. I typically get the bacon cheeseburger (the one with 2 patties); very flavorful. I also like how they cook with peanut oil. Recently I tried their veggie sandwich. It was good but I was a little surprised as they just threw a bunch of vegetables in between 2 buns. Maybe a vegetarian/vegan patty option would be nice?

I was craving a good burger, so I went to five guys. The customer service here is great. As soon as I walked in the door, someone greeted me. They took my order and invited me to enjoy the free peanuts while I waited. The staff is very friendly and if you're looking for a very good burger this is the place to go. I suggest you order the small fries. It will fill you up. They fill up the little container and then add another scoop of fries right into the bag. You will never leave hungry.

Soggy burger and fries

The burger was soggy and the fries was not crispy at all! For a fast food restaurant, a combo that cost $17 including tax is expensive and not worth it. Will definitely not return

Five guys: Good burgers, even better fries, and a 100% guilty pleasure. I seldom eat burgers outside as I prefer to make them at home but I'm happy to have finally try five guys. Their burger is just a classic hamburger. Never frozen beef, double patties, good ingredients. It tastes delicious, is just a mess to eat, and it's just a good burger from the top bun to the bottom bun. The best thing here were their fries! Super crisp, skin-on, their hand-cut fries were amazing. I actually ordered their small size, the 'little', to save some calories, but they ended up giving you essentially what would be considered a medium anywhere else. They were so good I finished them all.. psst, if you're health conscious like me, their fries have even more calories than their burgers - which are already pretty high (Just a FYI). But you're probably telling me, who cares, right? Yup. You probably shouldn't eat this more than twice a month.. but go indulge! Prices are a bit steep for a burger and fries, and unfortunately they don't offer any combos for the faithful. Although I didn't pay $18, to get away with their 'little' fry and a normal burger for $12.75 isn't too shabby nowadays!

Dry/ over cooked/ burned patty

I was craving for a burger today and had good experience with five guys burger in the past (mostly dine in). Had my husband dropped by and picked up as our dinner of the night, with a big disappointment. Both of our burger is served with over cooked/burned patty. The burger was so dry, that I can't take another bite. And we can't do anything about it since is a take out order and arrived home in this snowy day. :(

Always gives bonus fries!

My favorite burger joint. I can't get enough. If only they would deal with the bathroom. Food: 5/5 Two big thumbs up from me. Service: 4/5 Speedy. Environment: 5/5 I like the diner look. Washrooms: 1/5 Really needs some loving. Worth it?: 5/5 If you aren't allergic to peanuts. Five guys knows how to keep a burger sweet and simple. There are no gimmicks, no grilled cheese buns or stuffed patties. Just good old fashion burgers. The toppings selection is great and this peanut oil thing they got going on is perfect (unless you're allergic). To pair it off I always have to go with the cajun fries. Great seasoning and the complimentary peanuts really seal the deal. If only they would clean the washrooms they are a mess and smell really bad. I might need to stick to takeout!

Triple cheeseburger

When unable to decide where to go for a quick dinner prior to catching a flick at the newest Markham Cineplex nearby, we go here. Their cheeseburgers are delicious, double patties, and comes on bigger and mightier sesame seed buns compared to Burgers Priest (although BPs and Holy Chucks patties are more flavourful). Always choose the cajun fries over the original five guys style fries for a little extra zing (spice). Also dont bother getting any other size than the "little" fries as they tend to throw in purposely double the amount of fries in the brown paper bag, always a welcomed surprise. Peanuts are onsite available to help yourselves with while waiting for them to make the burgers. Staff here are always courteous. Only complaint I would have is that one combo (burger, small fries, regular drink) comes to almost $20 which is almost the price of dining at a regular full service restaurant.

So disappointed that staff now prepare the food without wearing masks - in the middle of the the 6th wave.

I found 6ix Burgers offering various BOGO deals on burgers. I got the Argonauts burger combo. The Argos burger is indeed named after the Canadian Football League's team in Toronto. It consists of a beef patty stuffed with cheese. You select all topics you want to your heart's content. The combo defaults to fries and a drink. You can swap out the fries for other sides, such as mac and cheese, and jalapenos poppers. This place names its burgers after familiar Toronto sports teams, streets, highways, and landmarks. For instance, there's a DVP sandwich, which is a sunny-side-up egg and beef bacon with cheese. It's named after the Don Valley Parkway, a highway that is commonly known as the Don Valley parking lot because it's so congested with cars at a standstill during rush hour. Maybe it's not the best to name an item after the DVP. I'd still get this sandwich, though. I love bacon and an egg as a sandwich and more. I scheduled my food for pickup between 4 pm and 4:30 pm. I placed my order in Stouffville. It was ready just before 4 pm. Um, okay. This place is more than punctual! It made me run ten minutes late getting down to Markham. 6ix Burgers is in a plaza that I used to frequent often perhaps over a decade ago. It is located where Burger Factory used to be. I'm a bit sad that it closed. I never dropped by and I wish that I had. The Burger Factory that I go to the most is by my workplace in Mississauga. Despite the huge mounds of snow in the parking lot, I found a parking spot fairly close to the eatery and backed into it. I then walked into the place. There were to people sitting in a booth, waiting for their food. It was a good sign. I walked up to the counter, stated my name, and said that I had an Uber Eats order. The nice woman handed me a bag with a paper bag in it. She let me know that my food was in this bag and I could help myself to a couple of drinks in the fridge. I thanked her and wished her a good day. There was Barbican bottles in the fridge. I had specified Diet Coke and felt that it works best with burgers, so I got that instead. The Diet Coke was at the bottom. It's the perfect height for toddlers, but not for me! Anyway, I grabbed my drinks and placed them in my bag of food. I drove home for a super late lunch at practically 5 pm. I was ready for grub. Let's start with the fries. Although they looked limp and needed some sort of fries ressusitation, they were good. They had the right amount of seasoning. They were slightly crispy and limp, but creamy on the inside. I normally don't dig fries, but these were so good with the salt that I ate them without the ketchup that was in the bag. The Argos burger. If you like Burger Factory, think of this burger as the Juicy Lucy. The burger has cheddar cheese stuffed in it. You take a bite and the cheese oozes out. Highly delightful, yet messy, to eat. The beef was seasoned well. I got 6ix sauce, ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and relish on my burger. I loved everything about it. The bun was soft and perfect to hold everything inside. Yum! I wish that I had added beef bacon, but this burger certainly hit the spot. All items on the menu are halal. This place was a great find. I hope to try the mac and cheese bites, or even mac and cheese as a side next time. I'm a fan. (51)

Grill Gate - Mushroom burger

The food is unapologetically hearty, full of flavor, and built to satisfy. The Philly Steak Sandwich is the kind of sandwich you immediately understand after the first bite. It is rich, cheesy, generously filled, and properly messy in the best way. The Spicy Mushroom Cheeseburger is just as convincing, with a thick beef patty, plenty of cheese, and enough mushroom and heat to make it feel more interesting than a standard burger. Nothing feels skimpy here, and that generous portion size is part of why the place has such a loyal following. What I liked most is that Grill Gate does not try to be too polished or too trendy. It knows exactly what it is. If you are in the mood for something indulgent, filling, and actually worth the price, this is the kind of spot that hits the mark. Very easy to come back to when you want a serious burger or sandwich.

Hubby had the cheeseburger combo with fries & drink. The burgers are really filling at 8oz & the bun doesn't disintegrate like other places. The fries were nice & crispy & plentiful. Brought in a black bowl we got them before the burgers. I asked for water as my drink & they have their own branded water bottles which I think was neat. Hubby had ginger ale. Service 5/5 I only saw two staff here but service was smooth. The staff I could see was the cook & the waitress. There was no pressure to decide quickly what to order which I appreciate. Once we ordered we got the French fries first. Then the drinks came next. While we were munching on the fries the burgers came not long after. Everything was freshly cooked. The fries were so hot I had to wait a little for it to cool down. Same with the burger. But I didn't mind because I knew it was freshly cooked. For dessert I had one sugar free baklava. Delicious & the perfect size for me. Ambiance 5/5 For a burger place this is a nice looking place. I disagree with one is the reviewers that this place is like McDonalds. There are nice banquette seating here with wooden frame tables & blueish grey upholstered chairs. There are also booths to sit at. There's acoustic music playing over the speakers also of popular classic songs. The vibe there on my opinion is classy & chill. You don't have to dress up to come here that is true. But this place is definitely nicer than McDonalds. The food is way better than McDonald's too! I've eaten here before & I would definitely come back again!

We used to love getting their Mac and cheese mutton rolls - they used to be so flavourful and a great fusion short eat. We were in the area and got their Mac n Cheese Mutton Rolls as well as their Butter Chicken Rolls and I can't express how disappointed we were. The Mac n Cheese Mutton rolls were underwhelming - it was as though they just added macaroni pasta to the mutton curry filling. It wasn't cheesy/creamy like it used to be. The filling was also underseasoned - missing salt, just not flavourful at all. The butter chicken roll was okay, again underseasoned. For $2.50 a roll, I expected a LOT better. We also got the Chicken Briyani. It didn't come with all the fixings like the Briyanis used to - no boiled egg, no fish cutlet. The rice was bland - almost like it was just rice and turmeric. The chicken curry was underseasoned like the rolls, not enough salt or flavour. The tandoori chicken leg was the only decent thing from this meal. The meal was disappointing, I regret buying it. Lastly, we got the viral banana pudding. I fell in looooove with banana pudding since I first had it from Confused Kitchen. This time, it wasn't bad but it wasn't the same. There weren't enough vaippan pieces and it wasn't as creamy as when it first came out. Again, I think they may have changed chefs because it's very obvious that the quality of food isn't the same as it used to be. I want to be able to give it another chance but I don't see myself coming back anytime soon.
