Confession: I am a faithful YouTube mukbang (people who make money eating on camera) watcher. So after watching many many manyyyyy youtubers eat five guys and rave how bomb it is, I was set on trying it. Mind you I hardly eat fast food. Came here with a girl friend and I ordered a little cheeseburger (one patty versus the regular which has two patties). The toppings are unlimited so I added mayo, mustard, tomato's, raw onions, jalapeño peppers, grilled mushrooms and lettuce. We shared a large Cajun fries as well. The order took about 15-20 minutes to prepare because they were understaffed. There were only two workers, one was sweeping the peanuts on the floor lol. Finally when the order came I was so ecstatic, but only to find out it was not good at all. The burger was mushy, the patty had no flavor what so ever I kept pouring ketchup and a good amount of salt on the burger, but it still tasted like it was missing something. Extremely disappointed, we went to go have dinner and when we walked in we noticed it was warm inside. We figured since it was 104° outside it might have just been our body temperature meeting to cool down. But actually it was about 110° inside. The employees were sweating like crazy and advised us that the air-conditioner has not worked in several months and they're having to work in those conditions. You would think that for such a large chain in operation The franchise owner would take better care and show concern for the general public. Our food took forever to come, but I blame that on the employees being fatigued from the heat, combined with working behind the grills. I have been to different 5 Guys before and this one. For whatever reason the fries here tonight were super salty to a point where my fingers were grainy and the hamburger patties were way overdone. Sorry to have to write this but this has been the worst 5 Guys experience so far and they are usually my fav. Please provide some training to the employees. They were very nice but when we are paying almost $20 for 2 hamburgers and a regular fry- it should taste better than this. read more

I gotta say that the burgers aren't bad. But their hot dogs are a whole different story. I ordered the bacon cheese dog and it was a mess. First of all they slice the hot dog in half long ways and place it on the bun as if it were a sandwich. The bun is pulled apart and used like sandwich bread. I've never seen this done anywhere else. The bun is smashed and everything falls out to the side as you take a bite. I took a picture of this mess and will be posting it to this site. I love love love this place. Five Guys is easily my favorite burger joint to begin with and I've always had really good service with this location. Generally speaking it doesn't get crazy busy (as long as you avoid the normal rush times) and I usually get my food pretty quickly. The majority of the time that I go here, even if I am eating in, I try to place my order online in advance. This eliminates any confusion in getting your order "right" and also means that even if there is a long line at the cashier, I can still usually pick up my food within 10 minutes of arriving there. I only wish that the burgers were cheaper, but you get what you pay for. IMO the burgers here are far superior to "that other place" once you figure out the customization that works best for you. read more

Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and some fries over postmates about 50 min before closing on Friday the 27th. I have had non stop diarrhea all of Saturday and Sunday! Took about an hour to finish eating and once i was done with the burger i had stomach pain and diarrhea. Note i had only at lunch earlier that day which no one else got sick off of. Friday night and all of Saturday i had cold chills, waking up sweating, constantly running to the bathroom, body aches, and not able to eat. It was quick to be ready for pickup according to postmates tracker. Sunday was a little better was able to eat toast and drink tea, but still had pain and runs to the bathroom. Yummy Burger place! I tried the cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms and it was perfect! At first I thought I added on too many toppings but my burger came out just right :). Their cajun fries are also spectacular. They were so potatoe-y and had so much flavor on top. And i really appreciated the generous heaping of potatoes! The guy at the grill was just dumping those suckers into my to-go bag. thank you, sir. The restaurant is pretty spacious and clean but I thought the noise level was a little too loud. But that wont stop me from coming back to five guys and getting a delicious burger and fries. Management needs to know this. I really enjoy five guys, and I've been going to this location since I moved to the area. To be honest, I've been here less and less frequent because it takes so long to get your order even after you order it online/app, you still have to wait when you get there. I understand they make the fries fresh, but the usual wait is still 15 minutes when I've ordered through the app. ***UNTIL TODAY*** I wish I would've asked the gentleman's name. He was the only one behind the counter doing everything. The grill, the fries, switching out gloves. He acknowledged me a soon as I got there. I told him my name, he knew which bag it was and in less than two minutes I was out the door. Fantastic experience! This guy needs to be recognized! Hard to describe people nowadays with the masks but he had dark hair and dark tan skin. And it's been about 30 minutes since I left the store. Ok, i have now been to 5 Guys 4 times. Once in Orange, once in Norco and twice here. When they first came to So Cal the paper said they were going to beat In & Out....NOT! I find the burgers to be over priced, soggy and even with "the works" to be lacking. The meat is fresh but little flavor.The fries are OK but not great. SoCal foodies seem to be tempted to compare east coast favorite Five Guys to our own In-N-Out and I don't think this is a fair comparison. In-N-Out is like the girl next door: Pretty but not glamorous, simple, honest, and modest. She may not be the most original, but she's good for the soul. Five Guys is like the chick you run into in Vegas that is full of indulgence, and certainly not a cheap date. While you'll have a great time you'll wake up in a pool of hamburger and fry grease the next morning with your wallet much lighter than it was before. Five guys is clearly geared towards a specific market. Their strong following in the east gives them the legitimacy to charge more for their burgers, and their recent openings in upper-middle-class neighborhoods point that they identify with a consumer that appreciates quality over value. Its not easy to get by under $10 a person because everything is a la carte unless you go for junior burgers and share fries with someone else. Their burgers are quite large and very fresh (The Normal burger is a double), and the Jr. sized (single) is deceptively filling. There's plenty of room for customization which is free except for the premiums like cheese and bacon. The fries are large, long and fat and are served overflowing in a medium/large soda cup and come in plain and cajun seasoning. I like the sorta soft thicker cut myself, but it may not be to everyone's liking since they have a tendency to get greasy and lose crispiness. The atmosphere of the place is always very busy and very loud, that just seems to be the company culture since I've seen it no matter which location I go. If you have a peanut allergy you want to avoid this place like it was the plague. Free peanuts is a thing of theirs, so they are everywhere. You also want to avoid this place if you're calorie counting. You go to five guys if you're in love with life and live carefree, or because you hate life and want to kill yourself with delicious fat and carbs. The economic situation might make it a bit hard to justify eating there often, but it's worth a try for the curious. read more

I have to agree with Cheaptimes on this one, 5 turds. The location is great, right in the new Pat's Ranch development in Eastvale near the 15. But once inside, one is greeted with Rock music that is blaring and A/C on full blast. I am young and whatnot, but when I go to grab a burger with someone......I actually want to talk to them. It seems as if the a/c and music is a pretty obvious tactic to get people in and out as fast as possible. The actual food? egh. I had a single patty burger and it was decent, but more like "omg I am so drunk this tastes awesomeeeee," You know, like anything from Jack in the Box. The cajon fries were again 2/5. This place is loud cause it gets busy and sometimes hard to find tables to sit, and the guys are constantly screaming out orders, in an already loud room, which is normal for fast food, but gets annoying throughout your whole meal. All hype. It's not bad, but it's not great. You do get what you pay for, toppings galore included with each burger. You might not necessarily want all that stuff on your burg so you might feel like you overpaid if all you wanted was ketchup and mustard. I liked their fries and they had a decent selection of drinks, but still, all hype. I had already ordered and paid for my food, but had decided I wanted a drink afterwards. Went up to the cashier and he hooked it up for free. It was the same employee that had gone over the menu and how everything worked when I first got there. Most cheap bastards will walk into a burger joint believing they can get a decent meal for a decent price. Although you'll get a huge burger nearly any way you want with all kinds of fixings, you won't get it at fast food prices here. Are the burgers on the pricier side? Yes, but you get to customize your burger with 12 different condiments ranging from grilled onions, mushrooms, green peppers, just to name a few. People complain about the price of the hamburgers here, but you would pay over 5 bucks just for a "6 dollar burger" at Carl's Jr. or an inferior burger at Fuddruckers. You could definitely share the fries here to defray the cost as they give you a good amount, and they toss in an extra scoop of fries into your bag when you order. I'm glad that Mira Loma has this establishment, its better than your cookie cutter joints like Carls Jr., Jack in the Box, and Mc Donald's. Where you expect to pay 5 bucks for an entire meal. So I had to find out which is better InNOut or 5 Guys. I like that InNOut has the easy order by number menu. 5 Guys is al a cart, although the fixinings are at no additional charge and the fries are are two sizes. The cost at 5 Guys is ridiculous. Lunch for my family of four was $35 which included 3 double pattie burgers,1 cheeseburger, 1 large fry and 3 regular drinks. Hands down InNOut has better value and flavor. 5 Guys does offer you free peanuts, I guess it's their version of chips and salsa. I don't get the correlation of peanuts and burgers. Check it out and when you compare value, taste and ease of ordering you'll agree that InNOut is still the king of burgers. read more

Greatly Disappointed at what was supposedly a great burger joint. Don't get me wrong, the burgers here are phenomenal, but as soon as we walked in, the loud music was extremely annoying. So annoying that the guy calling out numbers had to yell several times just for customers to hear their orders. My number was actually called with a group of others, but after yelling out, the guy behind the counter left to attend to some fries. Completely understandable, except that our burgers (in paper bags) were several feet out of our reach, causing a few customers to have to wait until someone else's fries were done and out of the fryer. While waiting for our food, they do offer free peanuts in a large box that customers can grab on their own, but after watching a kid reach in, grab a peanut, put it in his mouth, bite the shell in half and then discard the shell back into the box, I realized I didn't feel like eating any. I know it's not the burger joint's fault, but its gotta suck for the next person that scoops up a bunch and gets the kid's half bitten shell in his pile. Overall, the burgers were cool, but this East coast burger joint can't compare to In & Out. My girl and I probably won't be going back any time soon. read more

Will never go here again! Was craving 5 Guys. First off noticed the prices have gone up, burgers no longer under six dollars. $10.00 for a bacon cheeseburger. Got 3 burgers and one order of fries, one drink , $30. Takeout. Told the girl I wanted grilled onions and "all the rest of the free stuff".. get home, nothing in the burgers but grilled onions. I call and they said all burgers come plain, you have to ask for condiments.
