I've been a loyal customer at this Five Guys location in Corona since it opened, and while I love the burgers, my biggest ongoing complaint has always been the inconsistency with the fries and toppers. It feels like you're at the mercy of whoever's handling the fry station that day--sometimes you get a generous portion with extra scoops (toppers), other times it's skimpy, and it seems arbitrary based on who you are or how busy they are. Today was a perfect example. I ordered my usual: a double cheeseburger meal with small fries and a regular Coke, totaling $18.37 (receipt attached for reference, timed around 7:30pm. As always, no toppers in the bag. When I politely asked the manager about it, she insisted that since she gave me the "regular" size cup, that was sufficient--no extras. But I sat there and watched her prepare orders for others: she was scooping extra fries directly into their bags without even using the metal measuring bowl, giving them way more than the base amount. For some reason, mine was just a loosely filled cup, no toppers at all. To make matters worse, she seemed visibly upset and unwelcoming the entire time. When I asked for ketchup cups (since the dispensers were out), she gave me a look like I was a huge inconvenience, grabbed them from the back, and when I thanked her after she refilled the holders, she just stared back with an unfriendly expression and walked away. This has to be the manager--she was wearing the black shirt and clearly in charge. This isn't a one-off; it happens every time I come, whether alone or with my family (where we easily spend over $140). Usually, if I mention it, the staff fixes it without issue, but today she handled it completely differently, swapping my small cup for a "regular" one that was full but still far less than what you get with toppers on a small. I was so frustrated that I think Five Guys corporate should review the in-store video to confirm this--it would show the inconsistent portioning and her attitude. I came in happy and excited for a good meal, but left upset and unsatisfied. Consistency is key for a place like this, especially with prices what they are. Hoping they address it soon, or I might have to take my business elsewhere after all these years. read more

First $41 for two burgers, large fry and milk shake is insane. The burger had 3 bone pieces in it. For the price the quality had better be on point. It wasn't. The fries were ordered Cajun style and they pretty much emptied an entire bottle of seasoning on them. I could not eat them even after trying to dust them off. Horrible. I can get two burgers, three fries and two drinks for $23 bucks at In N Out. Won't be back for the food and the lack of value. read more

Five guys is always a solid choice! This location didn't disappoint. From their awesome staff to their yummy burgers and fries. The inside and out are very well maintained here. I know five guys is expensive, but it's way better than most burger joints. I love that you can customize your burgers to your liking. My favorite is their bacon cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup, pickles, fresh onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. I also really enjoy their Cajun Fries. I guess my only complaint is that I wish they sold combos instead of everything separate. Other than that, Five Guys is always a great spot to grab a delicious bite to eat! read more

This location was busy, my burger and fries were great made to order! I did not like that there weren't napkins out to grab we had to ask. Employees don't seem happy. The place needed some tables cleaned I did eventually see someone come out to wipe them down and take the trash. I liked that the kitchen was open so we can see them make our food. After years, I finally tired Five Guys!! My only regret is that I haven't tried this place sooner!! I placed my order online and it was ready within 7 minutes. So if you know it's going to take you longer than 7 minutes to pickup your food, place your order when you are closer... common sense! I've been here twice and both times, my order was great! I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, now that's a burger!!! Patty is a nice size which makes it a little juicy! I'm a total fan! This is how burgers should be made! I also ordered the cajon fries. They had tons of seasoning. If you're craving a real burger, I recommend you giving this place a try! Staff was friendly and my order was given to me right away. Been here several occasions for a burger fix & rarely disappoints! This past weekend, placed an order online for pickup. Still no dining in as of 5/17 when I went. I had a fairly large order with 5 different burgers with various toppings, a hot dog and Cajun fries. Everything was ready upon the selected pick up time. You're able to add whatever toppings you like. I love that mushrooms are an option as well. I always get the small cheese burger with bacon, lettuce, Mayo, grilled onions , mushrooms and best of all A1 sauce!! The patty is just perfect. The buns are soft, which means yes, the burger can feel kind of sloppy (which I usually hate). HOWEVER the burger is just so amazing. Fries were ok. Wish there was more crisp but maybe it got soggy on the way home? I believe the cook it with peanut oil, and you can choose regular or Cajun. The portion for the fries is huge! The food has always been pretty good at this location but since the pandemic, the quality of food served has declined. I ordered food for my family about a month ago ($56+) and when I got home, we all had lack luster burgers with 2 of them having patties that were much smaller than the bun and the meat was crumbled. Today (3/22/22) I ordered 2 Little burgers (one with bacon, the other without), 1 Hamburger, a large fries, no drinks ($31.93). The fries tasted like it was re-fried in old oil and the burgers were bland even with the added condiments. Too expensive to get disappointing food. This spot is open for take out and dine in outside! They offer 2 tables outside in the shade! It's pretty empty here so you might get a table. However each table only accommodates a party of 4 and one party of 2. Inside is clean, the employees are wearing masks and gloves. They are really doing their part during this covid. Service was hit & miss. One guy behind the counter making shakes was going out of his way to ignore customers. The gal at the register, Catherine was nice and friendly. They need to remove some signage that's no longer applicable. Best value? Ha, guess they've never been to an In & Out. Burgers were OK, nothing special. Tastes like they went to Costco and bought the ingredients. Nothing bad, just not worth eating out at these prices. It's overpriced by about $7-8. I returned to this location today. Got my order made correctly and the fries weren't burnt. Went at an off time after usual lunch rush. The guy on staff was very helpful but the three girls still spent most of their time talking even with a slow steady flow of customers. He wore a mask when ordering, but not when cooking the fries - however he did wear gloves. The girls were masked and gloved. Can eat inside the restaurant now. Tables are not too spaced out and are pretty much how they were pre pandemic. Customers were self spacing and choosing tables apart from each other's groups. Yet another burger joint I can cross off my bucket list... although it wasn't in San Diego. I'd always wanted to try Five Guys, so when Kathy and I had some time before our movie started, we came here for lunch. Five Guys' draw is that you can have any of their available toppings on your burger, and I sure took advantage of that (grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and A-1). Kathy was a bit more conservative with her choices. Now, when you advertise your "little" burgers, you're expecting something small. And yet, who'da thunk that their regular burgers are quite big (not just the double patties, but the size as well)? Too bad that the patties were pretty bland tasting, and while I got everything I ordered on my burger, I barely got any A-1. Plus, my bun was really soggy and kept falling apart (thank goodness for extra napkins). I felt really bad for my girlfriend, as she ended up using the extra ketchup from our fries on her burger. And speaking of the fries, while they could be a bit crispier, a large could feed a small army. Service was pretty quick; the person taking our order found out we were going to watch "Man of Steel" as soon as we were done eating, so he told the people manning the grill to make our orders fast. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with reviews extolling the chain decorating the place. As most of these were from the East Coast, I wondered where the West Coast reviews were... but after trying the burgers here, I think it's because the East Coast doesn't have In-N-Out. Also, a previous Yelp reviewer mentioned a touchscreen soda machine that offers flavor options - unfortunately, I guess it didn't work out (and why not? Those machines are AWESOME!), as there was a regular soda fountain on premises. At least it offered Mello Yello, though... Although the burgers here are pretty bland, I still like the myriad of toppings that Five Guys offers - and I do want to try the hot dogs - so maybe I'll give the chain another shot. I have been eating at various Five Guys as long as I can remember. Love the food. But, I stopped in this one for the first time. The Ambience was very tense and I was surprised because usually the vibe is real upbeat. The manager, a blackshirt, was literally screaming at a worker right in front of me. I do not feel that this is appropriate. I hate to have to use a description. But she was a little heavyset and wore glasses. I don't know her name but it either starts with a K or a C. . We have been to a few different locations in Southern CA and Eastern PA. This one had the quickest service out of all of them. Service was friendly as well. We don't frequent Five Guys because you will easily pay close to $30 for two people to eat two burgers, drink two drinks, and fries for each or even a regular fry shared. Pretty expensive! You can go to a California favorite and spend less than $15 for two combos, and the burgers are delicious. We both get the Little Cheeseburger but choose different toppings. I like mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomato, and grilled onions. I haven't tried the grilled mushrooms, but I should. My husband gets his All The Way minus the mushrooms. I love that they have a Freestyle Coca-Cola machine. It's so hard to find diet + caffeine-free anywhere. Sometimes you don't want water! This time, we also got a grilled cheese for our 2 year old. She loved it! Was it worth almost $5? Not for a 2-year-old's meal. But the quality is good. We chose the price point, so I can't fault any stars for that. We know we will be back at some point. We tried the bacon cheese burgers and Cajun fries last night and we were totally thrown off by the unmelted cheese and the raw jalapeños. It's basically a home made burger with the toppings of your choice, just not well executed. The fries were okay just not fried long enough and the soda machine each option didn't taste right. Besides the miniature burgers, my fries did not even come filled in there cups. I remember when five guys first opened, a regular fry would fill 1/4 of the paper bag.
