Our food arrived fairly quickly after we finally put in our order. No real issues with the food. However a few minutes after receiving our food we asked for more ketchup as they do not keep condiments on the table there and you have to request it. The waitress said she would get it right away and she did not return. About 40 minutes later another server advised us our waitress is very busy and asked him to check on us for her. We asked for the bill as we were ready to leave due to the poor service . We were planning to order more drinks and dessert but changed our minds when we realized the waitress forgot about us after saying she was going to get the ketchup we requested. We will not be returning to this location. Never had an issue with the service at the kenmount rd location.

He was actually speaking to the manager, which shocked us, because of how rude and disrespectful the mamager was. He hung up on my bf twice. When my bf tried to pick up for himself he was hung up on. My bf is a dedicated customer for 10 years. He has spend $1000s on your company. Not to mention, my bf and his friend would buy party pizzas for his company and the employees. He is very hurt and confused about why he was treated so horribly by the manager of the place that hes been a loyal customer for years.

They have a really nice poster of the St. John's area and they also have a really really really big wallpaper on their wall saying about all the ingredients that goes in. It's very nicely marked. We were told to go sit at the bar and order a beer and you could order your food. The place is nice clean has a nice diner touch . We order 2 pc's of fish and chips, with gravy and coleslaw. Well let me say it was the best we had in NL. The fish was very tender , and the batter was nice light. We have eaten fish chips almost everyday from 5 different restaurants in St Johns and also on the Irish loop- well let me tell you that Dicks sure delivered the best fish and chips. The fries were one of the best of my all my times eating fries. Double fried crispy outside soft in the inside. Real potatoes . The meal was amazing and the service great. The only negative item was the tartar sauce was in packet - BTW we were so full that we had to cancel our 7:30 dinner plans. This is a must !! Worth it

Our server Jacob was kind and helpful and the best part was, seemed to really enjoy his job. He took extra care to explain all meals to us and to make sure we would enjoy our selection. Also tried the home-baked flat bread - perfect! - the vegan and gluten-free puttanesca pasta and the Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend EVOO to anyone who is looking for a hearty Italian meal, especially (but not only!) if you prefer vegan and gluten-free food.

I had walked by numerous times and found it odd but respectable that it was always closed during the day and only opened at 5pm. When I went to enjoy a supper with my parents one holiday evening, the interior was decorated nicely and had really kind service. I ordered the Pork Milanese ($28) which was a battered pork loin with creamy gnocchi noodles and mushrooms on the side. The dish was incredibly filling, but it did keep me wanting to continue picking at each noodle after I was already full. The pork had a lemon on this side to give it some extra zest. My dish was good, but my mom ordered the Chicken Parmesan which honestly looked and tasted better than mine. I also attached a picture of it as well. This place didn't have too many entrees to choose from but the chicken was great, and the pork was good. They have many pizza options, but I am not the biggest fan of fancy pizza so I personally would not come here for that selection. From what I ate though, I'd give this place a solid four for a kind atmosphere and filling meal.
