This Five Guys is located in the bustling Drum Hill Shopping Center. We typically go to this location to grab a quick bite before grocery shopping but it can be challenging to find parking because it's on the side near where Walmart is. Even though this is a chain, I find it less chaotic and easy to just have a burger there and then go about my day after without putting a lot of thought into it. Little Bacon Cheeseburger- It's the perfect size for me. I usually get this with onion, lettuce, ketchup, and mayo. Regular Fries- A bit overly salted. Unfortunately, I don't eat often enough to remember to remind to cool it on the salt but it's always very salty. Oreos Cookie Milkshake- I got this once, and it's just as expected, filling, thick and very oreoy. Grab a spoon if you're going to get this or wait 15mins for it to melt to drink it. Overall Service: The folks by the register are upbeat and friendly. They clearly call out customer's number when the food is ready to grab at their pickup counter without any confusion. Maybe it's just me that think their burgers are overpriced... especially if you don't want it "all the way." I ordered a little bacon burger. I'm sorry but a very flimsy patty should not be over $6 and I didn't even get a bun (gluten free). I asked for steak sauce, lite pickles, bacon, and lite mayo. I got no steak sauce, TWO pickles, and two measly pieces of bacon and the mayo on the side. It did not even fill me up. The only good thing about Five Guys is their Cajun fries...... amazing!!!! I went in there during COVID-19 for takeout few times. Food taste is still good, but people who work there are not that smart. Once I ordered two doubles and one single. I went home and opened, and found all three singles. I checked receipt and order was correct on paper. However it was not correctly delivered in the bag. This happened a couple of times. Half the time you are standing by the pickup window 5 minutes before you even get acknowledged. Then when you do they start making your fries. So I get to wait for a cold burger. We went for lunch on a Friday afternoon not long after its grand opening, and were pleased to see that the place wasn't completely packed. It's a Five Guys, so the burgers and fries are outstanding, and with regard to food, is no different than any other location I've visited. If you're already a fan, you won't be disappointed. It has one of those fancy tonic machines that allows you to mix dozens of different combinations. Nifty! The staff is very friendly, and went out of their ways to be helpful (of course, this may have been because the owner was visiting that day.) Girl takes out order at the register and I say to her, "she has a mushroom allergy", she says "I couldn't hear you" so I repeat myself - as we're walking away, I look at the receipt and it has "shroom". I ask her, "does this mean allergy?" She says, "oh, I didn't know, I couldn't really hear you"... uh, then say you can't hear me. She goes and scratches it off our order before they make it. Sit down to eat and my wife's bottom bun is soggy. She takes it apart and eat the rest. Start to eat the fries and there is no way they have any Cajun seasoning left because our fries are covered! I wouldn't normally review a Five Guys, but what's up with this one at Drum Hill? I went in there the other night and it turned out that they had NO HAMBURGER ROLLS. I mean, isn't this sort of a basic condition of existence for a hamburger restaurant? The clerk at the counter seemed pretty matter of fact about the place's inability to perform the single function that it/she was there to perform (i donno...maybe most of their customers come for the dry roasted peanuts, to gaze upon the bags of raw potatoes, and eat little plastic cups of ketchup?). She offered to sell me a burger "wrapped in lettuce" or "in a bowl". Hummmmmm. So I left for the one in Nashua (clerk seemed somewhat exasperated and insulted by my refusal to take my burger "in a bowl") whereupon I discovered the true informational point of this review; that is, the posted prices in the Drum Hill Five Guys are on average $1 to $2 MORE than those in Nashua! I know that these places are independently operated and can clearly set their own prices...but geeze, no food, surly help, AND higher prices (for your lettuce-wrapped burger in a bowl) really doesn't bode well for anyone wanting to eat at the Drum Hill Road Five Guys. This place seriously needs to take themselves off Uber Eats. Every time, there's been a massive delay for the food, and it's not because of lack of drivers. I placed an order through Uber Eats and then 30 min later got a text direct from Five Guys saying they were starting to prepare my food. Checked the app and sure enough my delivery time was an hour (AFTER already waiting the 30 min for them to just start making my food, which was only 1 burger and 1 fry). Well...the noise level was more than a going-deaf person like me would have liked, but the food more than exceeded expectations. Uncomplicated burgers and fries cooked in peanut oil were quite yummy and the quality of the beef was way better than that of most restaurants. Food is always 100% fresh and never has it been sitting there in a warmer until someone orders it, it's made per order, which is a little more timely but I'd rather that if it means fresh and hot food. I always get the bacon cheese burger with extra cheese and extra bacon, and it's no extra charge cause the toppings are free! The atmosphere of the place is good, nicely air conditioned and the music they play thru the radio for the dining room is always A1. My daughter and I went into your Chelmsford ( Drum Hill Location) on Sunday October 30, 2016 for a mid -afternoon bite. The food was standard, but the restaurant itself was deplorable! Filthy dirty. I had to wipe a table prior to sitting down. There were "ZERO" clean tables. The floor was so dirty. There were peanuts and trash scattered everywhere. Being a seasoned Five Guys fan, I consider myself a connoisseur of their product and concept, having visited multiple locations. I, however, didn't go in with high expectations because you never know what you're gonna get in the first week when something opens, but I was absolutely blown-away by not only the food, but also the staff! I was extremely pleased with the outstanding meal I got, and completely smitten with the energetic staff, so much so that I've already visited this new location three times in their first week already! (It is the closest 5-G's to my home and work, so it was inevitable). And each visit was very consistent in their quality. Needless to say they are the best burger joint around! Period! (And their coke fountain machine is a soda-mixer/experimenter's dream machine for someone like me!). Don't waste your money anymore at the "Big-3-Chains" which have all gotten pretty expensive for what you get, a paper-thin almost tasteless burger and always-cold-previously-frozen-never-fresh-fries. 5-G's is the way to go! read more

I used to be a Fuddruckers guy as to burgers, but over the past year or so, I've become a Five Guys guy. The burgers are always fully cooked, yet juicy. The hot dog is butterflied and turns out great on the grill. And the fries are fresh and tasty. Can it be a little loud from a music standpoint? I guess.
