I'm hooked, the fries are one thing but the hotdogs with cheese and onions has me in a choke hold. I order from here at least once a week and they never disappoint! read more

This is absurd. We're in the middle of a pandemic and I am asthmatic and I asked for curbside pickup and they put all these signs up to call to let them know you're here. Not a damn person answered the phone. I called 40 times. So upset. Don't put a fucking sign up if you can't answer. read more

Five Guys - a car parked in front of a five guys store - Burgers Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Now a cheeseburger, small Cajun fry, and regular drink cost $17??? I'm done! And don't get a bacon cheeseburger, that's over $10! These prices are outrageous. Everyone is trying to recoup the losses from the covid shutdown, and passing those cost to the consumer. And I know places were shutdown and lost money, but it's getting ridiculous. read more

I really hope the manager of his location takes the time to read the reviews, for their own benefit and perhaps offer better service. Yes the employees wear gloves and they do everything with the one pair of gloves, from touching the food to scratching their head, face nose etc and even cash people out. I'm sorry but sanitation rules need to be reviewed on a weekly basis here, also the chatting and joking around need to be addressed, 30 min for a burger is really not acceptable. read more

Came here for a quick meal, though it was not prepared as quickly as I expected. My boyfriend and I had gone through several peanuts (found several stale ones) before we received our burgers and small order of fries. It was only the 2 of us, and I thought our order was pretty simple. I had the Little Cheeseburger ($5.99) "All the Way" (mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, grilled onions, and mustard). I thought the burger would be small/kid-sized, but it was a regular sized burger, which was a fantastic surprise. All the toppings are free, and considering the cost of the burger, you ought to get all the toppings you want! I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. The meat was perfect, and the toppings were fresh. A small size of fries is $3.49 and cooked in peanut oil. The seasoning for the fries was delicious, and the fries themselves were perfectly cooked. The peanuts are free and located in a box in the seating area in the back (though it seems otherwise, yes, there's more seating if you keep walking toward the restrooms - yes, there are restrooms). No, this is not one of those places where you can toss peanut shells on the floors, so please don't do it (you might get some mean glares from the employees if you do). The place could use some freshening up, and the staff could be friendlier, but the food was great. read more

Update: This location is under new management, and we couldn't be happier. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the manager seems to drive an atmosphere of fun. Special orders are coming out exactly as requested (and without the attitude previously experienced!) and the place is much cleaner. We've been returning more often, and will continue to do so as long as standards remain high. Nice work and kudos to the new mgmt! read more

20 minute wait after paying. Wasn't crowded. By the time the order of fries were finished our two burgers were over cooked, burnt, and cold. This has nothing to do with COVID. read more

Burger was good. It was sitting out for a while before the party was done. Lettuce was a little iffy in some areas. Service was okay. Their area was a mess. Seemed like they was terribly busy and had no time to pick up. I don't think I would go back. At least not to this one. read more

See all

Never again. As the other reviews state, SLOW as molasses. 30 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 dogs? I know it's not "fast food" as generally defined, but it's not fine dining either. Find somewhere else and save yourself the time and frustration. read more

Terrible service. Order always wrong. Don't bother Ordering from tgem. Missing three of six items I ordered. Called to get it fixed, told me get over it. read more

Won't be back. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived. Tables were dirty. There was almost no meat on the burger and they gave us very fries. We should have realized when the place was empty! read more

Famine, earthquakes, typhoons. All three occurred at this establishment when I didn't get my food in under 30 minutes. The staff was nice but I got fake people showing fake love to me straight up to my face. "Six cold like Alaska" but Five Guys sent shivers down my spine with their ineptitude. I felt betrayed like Benedict Arnold or even Judas. What happened to me I wouldn't wish to happen on Satan himself. In my nightmares I see a world of clowns kidnapping puppies and forcing them to eat food from the Five Guys on Providence Road. Overall I was very upset with the service of this place. They take so incredibly long to crank out an order. I remember coming here with my friends and their service was impeccable. Oh How the mighty have fallen. Also super disappointed in the drink machine not being very good either. Just an overall poor place to eat your food. Unless you want to wait 3 hours to get your food. 1/10 would not recommend to a friend. Find another Five Guys but this one is about as valuable as the last poop I took in the toilet. read more

Terrible customer service. Totally screwed up our Online order , many missing items and burgers with no toppings. It's been declining for years but tonight we are officially done with this location. read more

Charging restaurant prices for fast food : $11 for a plain burger and fries cooked THEIR WAY -well done - or the hwy. The kids working behind the counter were very nice but there's nothing they could do about it. Consumers (including Yelpers ) seem to hold low expectations for their money. read more

Service: Chaos. Seems to have been strong worse over the last year. It's Spring 2016 as I write this. Food: Consistent burgers. Generous fry portions. And, you can get it about any way you want it, with a gajillion topping options. read more

Today there were 5 women rockin' the grill and cooking. They were working hard and having fun. Laughing and getting things done. Loved to see the great teamwork. Service with a smile. And the food was great, as usual. read more

Good burgers. Paid $12 bucks for a bacon cheesburger, fry and drink. Won't be doing that too often.

Cajun fries. Not hot as hell fries please. Coated excessively. Fries greasy and not done. Not impressed. At all!!!!

This is one of the most expensive places I have been to in a whilefor subpar good. The staff was really good, service was not to slow, but compared to my local Five Guys, this one is just not worth the priceand the burgers are over cooked. I would recommend another burger joint put find another five guys. $34 for 3 burgers, 1 reg fry, and 1 drink is just not worth it. read more

the most overpriced burger place in the U.S. They took my money for the last time. Good bye Five Guys!

I give a 10 out of 10 for the burgers and a two out of 10 for the fries because they are always soggy. The oil must be extremely hot so the potatoes don't absorb so much oil and then stay in the fryer a little longer . Please stop serving soggy greasy fries! read more

The guy (Ryan) that takes the orders is unprofessional. He had the nerve to raise his voice at my daughter and her father because he couldn't hear them when placing their order. If they were to turn down the music they could probably hear the customers. Our masks due to COVID makes it hard to hear someone clearly so if they want better reviews then maybe turning the volume down would help them out some! If I could give Ryan 0 starts I would most definitely do it!! read more

I ended up trying this Five Guys again due to a large family outing and I was pleasantly surprised by the burger being good!! All eight people agreed the food was good! read more

Food is ok, but they advertise curbside and they won't bring the food out to you.

I will never eat at Five Guys again. Such a pathetic excuse for a place. It's over priced and the service is horrendous. I don't pay these prices for a cheeseburger to then be treated like crap. Piss on your company. We went into the location at Providence in the Arboretum in Charlotte. We were dining in. Out order was never called. After numerous people got there order that had come in after us I went up to ask about our order. 20 min of waiting it was sitting up on the shelf. The fries were cold and soggy. I asked for them to be remade. Mike refused and said it was inappropriate. Really? Your customer service is horrendous read more

Ordered online which took no time. The food was ready when they promised. My order was exactly right. The temperature and taste of the burgers were spot on. The staff were congenial and prompt. Great experience! read more

I order from this five guys quite frequently to go. It never fails just about every time I get home sit down at my table I open my burger there's ALWAYS something missing. 99% of the time it's the lettuce. How hard is it to read a ticket and put the stuff onto a burger. Holy cow. read more

Ahhh, thinking about those little bacon cheeseburger makes my mouth water! I seriously love to go to Five Guys ( even though I only saw 3 guys and 1 girl). they are usually nice, cool, and make pretty awesome hotdogs and burgers. However I got one problem, they open at 11am, and I usually crave for burger in the morning since its more efficient of me to buy it early then go I work, other than that problemo, they make awesome foods! read more

Friking litty fam oh peppa what are you doing in my yelp review and I oop sksksk scrunchies are life

Not the best location. Five Guys is my guilty pleasure burger and fries choice! Arboretum location feels dirty. Table was greasy feeling. Floor had a thick "slick" of soap on it-slippery and gross! Today my fries were over cooked and crunchy. I've never had that happen at a five guys before. I'll be back tho-hopefully the fries will be back to their delicious selves next time. read more

I have come to this location about three times. And every time I come here I am the only one in the restaurant and it takes at least 10 minutes to get my food out. I'm not too fond of the fries. My star rating has nothing to do with the food. My review is about the pre pubescent child working at the register. I believe his name is Grayson but he cant be more than 16 and id be shocked if he is even that old. He has a horrible personality. I walked in to order and he seemed to have an issue with me walking in. Then i noticed he acted bothered and annoyed by everyone who walked in. He then came around the counter to replenish straws and when the next customer came in he made his little annoyed face, slammed the cabinets shut and went back behind the counter to take the customers order. This child needs to be made aware of who actually pays his bills if he even has any and learn how to treat people. Ive never seen someone be so rude toward people especially in a service industry. Someone even called in with a complaint and i kid you not he said "ok cool sorry about that" who says "ok cool" in response to a complaint ? read more
