One of the smaller locations that I have seen. As usual, I got my fill of their complimentary peanuts. I ordered a hog dog for the very first time. It was ok IMHO, nothing extraordinary. I'm going to stick to getting their hamburgers in the future. One note is that they were very generous with the fries!

Following my first (and what had previously been my only) trip to Five Guys years ago, I'd long wondered if I should go back and give them a second chance. My experience was disappointing, but considering how so many people seem to like them, I've always figured I should go back just to see if my opinion would be any different after all of this time. And I have to say - it has. Though it's still not as glowing as how others seem to feel, it's safe to say my most recent meal was far more successful! If you've never been, Five Guys is like a cross between Shake Shack and In N Out. Like the former, the burgers here are a step above your traditional fast food joint, but the style of their food is more classic, like the latter. The menu is also a little more varied, as they offer burgers in both regular and "little" sizes, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes. Remembering my friend's advice in the past that Five Guys' "little" portions are actually regular sized at most other places, I opted to get the LITTLE BACON CHEESEBURGER ($9.29) and LITTLE FRIES ($4.39), so as not to entirely destroy my waistline. Compared to my first meal at Five Guys (in Sunnyvale, if that matters), my burger here was far more enjoyable. Whereas my first one was incredibly greasy (even on the outside of the foil...), this one wasn't nearly as bad. The patty was fairly juicy, the veggies were crisp and refreshing, the bacon was actually decently crispy, and the buns didn't get soggy just a few bites in again. That being said, the fries were just awful. The portion was generous, but how much of a plus is that when they are so mealy and limp? Sure, it's not easy to get fresh fries super crispy, especially when they are cut slightly thicker like these, but I ended up tossing about half of the order (though, to be fair, I wasn't planning on finishing it regardless). Beyond the food, possibly the biggest thing Five Guys has going for them is their late night hours. Given how most places around here close relatively early, the fact that they're open until 10pm is almost a godsend, as there aren't a ton of options in Burlingame or nearby Millbrae. Otherwise, despite how much more successful this meal went, I don't know if I have a compelling reason to come back. The burger makes a return viable, as it's a pretty solid value for the money, but it's not particularly unique either. Plus, the fries are just so bad!

I had five guys burgers in the past and they are pretty good. The cool thing about it they don't charge toppings and you get to customize which ones you want on your burger and believe on the hot dogs as well. I usually get the little burger cause the big burger is huge and get fries on the side. Everything is cooked fresh and fries are used in peanut oil. Plus, you get complimentary peanuts while waiting for your order to be ready. It's a cool vibe almost like In N Out but franchised.

It seems that it's been forever since I had eaten at a Five Guys burger shop. I had not eaten the whole day and it was nearly 6 PM and I was overdue for a nice meal. I was just walking through the neighborhood and saw the Five Guys and thought: "it's time"! I ordered a simple cheeseburger with all the ingredients I wanted and a small order of fries. The restaurant wasn't busy and my burger and fries were delivered quickly and, as always, or perfectly cooked and delicious. It reminded me to not wait so long between visits to a Five Guys!

Five Guys is one of my favorite fast food burger joints for the toppings if nothing else! The selection is huge and you can pick as many as you'd like, but some of the standouts for me include the grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, jalapeños, hot sauce, and A1 sauce. The Little Hamburger comes with a single patty (which is plenty), along with a selection of toppings, all on a soft bun that can get gooey with all the juicy fillings. And the restaurant also offered unlimited shell-on peanuts, which made for a nice earthy snack to go along with the burgers, fries, and shakes!

My first time trying five guys and wow first off the price is a lot compared to other burger places. My boyfriend and I both got "little" cheeseburgers. I would say they were the size of regular burgers. We also got a large Cajun fries but we were not expecting it to come in a cup so it was a lot of fries and there was even some in the bag! Yeah

What a waste of food

Ordered a just simple, nothing special hamburger. What did I get ? A double patty burger with all the trims, sounds good, right ? Hell No !. I was 6 feet away from the counter/kitchen and when I opened it , what did I get ?... A soggy bread , falling apart in 4,479 small pieces !. Read above again.... 6 feet away from the counter. Then various delivery guys starting picking up the same burgers.... I said to myself ' if my is steamy soggy, falling apart , picked up only 30 seconds after it was made , imagine how those burgers are going to arrived?Damn !. Five Guys, 5-Guys, come up with something better. Would I come back ? Not anytime soon .

My son loves to get the 2 slider kids menu item and douse it in ketchup. The regular hamburger is pretty good but I still have yet to try the other burgers and chicken sandwiches. They look really good! The restaurant is unpretentious, spacious, and we didnt feel self conscious with having a very excited toddler yelling "choo-choo train!!" every time a train passed. Highly recommended! They also have a covered outdoor space for private events as well! Might need to cater from them for a birthday in the near future!

We initially sat outside on their patio (which was quite nice) and moved inside as the night got colder. We ordered one classic burger with American cheese and one Outlaw. We also subbed our fries for parmesan garlic fries and tots. The burgers were really tasty; we especially enjoyed the classic burger. The tots were also great - crispy and perfectly fried. The parmesan garlic fries had good flavor but were too oily for our liking. For drinks, we got a blonde bombshell shake which was vanilla with strawberry drizzle around the glass. Service was very friendly and attentive, and their seating (both indoor and outdoor) is comfortable and spacious. As we ate our meal, we had a window view of the sunset. Our dinner came out to $70+ which was a bit steep but we enjoyed our experience.

Haha…read more The diner vibe has been beckoning to the nostalgic part of me as I grow with my kids so give them the same experience. I love this location way more than Menlo Park. I'm bummed they took away the options to add your own produce as I didn't like that option pre covid (tastes and opinions have changed). The burger bowl with the ahi sauce is so filling and delicious. I wish they sold that sauce separately so I can put on my breakfast. Seriously consider it, I'd buy it by the bottle. The kids really enjoyed the kid menu and seating. I'm surprised the patty sizes of the burgers were big and seasoned just enough. I'll definitely be back.

Amazing food and ambiance!…read more Came here for lunch and really enjoyed it. It has a retro vibe, which I feel is pretty rare for the Bay Area. It was super empty when I arrived (late 11am ish) but it picked up really fast. There's tons of seating inside, including at the counter. The staff is also great and the food came out super fast. The food was really good. I'm quite picky about my burgers, and theirs was amazing. The meat is tender and flavorful, the bun is soft, and the dressing compliments everything well. In addition, I got a milkshake and chili cheese fries. The milkshake felt like 3 servings, so there's definitely a ton of value. I thought I under ordered, but the portions were so big that I had to take it to go. I'd recommend this place and I'll definitely be going again!

This food truck serves burgers, tacos, and quesadillas, pretty much a microcosm of what people usually eat in the Bay Area -- and what is actually missing in Millbrae because of the concentration of Asian food. It's also quite a high tech food truck, where you order via a giant touch screen. The folks who work the truck are nice, the only downside is that you can't eat the food right there, so it's always a bit cold by the time I get home. The food usually hits the spot, so I can only imagine if I could have it fresh off the grill! The competition between food trucks is pretty high here, so I'm not surprised by the caliber of the food at this truck. It's just such a curious location.

Unfortunately and to my surprise, a person can mess up a burger. It was bland and the fries were trash. I ordered through DoorDash, and there was no option to add condiments for the fries and the instruction box was disabled. At least it was made and delivered quickly (not sure if that helps). Response to the owner: I ordered through my husband's name and out of respect for his privacy, I don't want to post it here. At the time I ordered, the feature to include condiments wasn't there. Regardless of that, the food wasn't good.

When I looked at the online ordering, it said it would take about 20 minutes, and my hotel was about a 20 minute ride away, so that worked out perfectly. I ordered the Sheriff and some seasoned fries and got on the road. Both the burger and fries were hearty and hit the spot. Overall, this perfectly nails a 4-star experience. The burger wasn't some kind of next level amazing, but it was just a perfectly enjoyable way to end my 4 days in the Bay Area. Hidden Spot is essentially the kitchen portion of a dive bar. I sat at a table with only one other patron in the place around 11am on a Saturday morning. The other patron was enjoying the ability to be fully in charge of the digital juke box while I was enjoying stuffing my face.
