Wow, it's like stepping back in time…read more In some aspects, it feels like a store from the 60s. Please know, the majority of the merchandise is new and fashionable, and yes, they carry name brands. Yet things like a candy counter and some of the displays took me back a few years. You will find something you like - and at a fair price!

I went to the junior's section, and found a handful of cute casual dresses but unfortunately everything I tried on was unflattering. I stopped by the women's restroom, which is located on the upper level. The pink tiles and vanity look like the original from the 60's or 70's. It could definitely use a facelift. Lol. I then checked out the shoe dept and sunglasses and lastly social dresses. I managed to find one cute dress in petites. It was originally $70 and I got it for $40. Boscov's has a variety and large selection of merchandise, but it's hit and miss for me. I have found that the junior's section has good prices, but other areas can be fairly pricy.

Even the shoes were organized by color. They had a HUGE section of Halloween and Christmas decor that I'm guessing they may keep up all year round since it was only July when I visited. Surprisingly, bathrooms weren't all that bad and seemed to be cleaned regularly. The selection wasn't the best I've seen in a thrift store and I felt like you reaaaally had to look hard past the Target, Shein, and other current fast fashion items for some real vintage. My boyfriend noted that the men's section was terrible with a limited selection, but he did end up finding a nice blue tie. I found four tops and ended up spending about $25. Not too bad. Depending on the day you go, they have sales on certain color tags too. There are no fitting rooms but there were a few mirrors around thankfully. Service was prompt and pleasant at the checkout counter. They also offer donations in the drive up area. I'd definitely return in the future!
