Not my favorite B&N. Vibe can feel pretentious & unwelcoming. Asked if they had a magazine in-stock…read more& was given a mix of insults & excuses. "Are you sure this title is in print?" ME: Yes, for sure. "Because..." ME: Because lots of magazines have gone digital, I'm aware, this is for sure in print. "This could be a magazine that only grocery stores carry." ME: Well I've purchased it here before, not specifically this store, but Wyomissing location. "Oh, well, we clean up our magazines, they don't do their job there." A simple, "Iooks like we don't have it" will suffice. I kinda wanna say (but don't) you have a lot of attitude for a store that has a broke-azz escalator & none of the magazines I want. It's unnecessary to run down another location & the point is wasted, cause if Wyo "not doing their job" means a broader selection of magazines to choose from, guess where I'm heading next time! At the register I'm asked if I want to use my rewards which are greater than the purchase I'm making. I reply sorta rhetorically, sure so long as I won't lose the difference. Said to me sarcastically, "Yeah, we're just gonna throw them all away!" WTF. Glad I was having a chill day & didn't respond w/ equal sarcasm, "right, cause rewards, points, coupons, these things never expire or have rules." No seating. Tight cafe area. Right-Fighter employees. Disappointing magazine selection.

They also have a clearance section which actually has some books and items to choose from. There were many sales associates available to ask questions and help you find what you need.

My friends and I over the years have had mixed experiences at Uncanny King of Prussia. It was not…read moreactually a comic shop, but a pop culture shop with a weak selection of comics. I visited here in late summer 2021 and found positive changes, including more focus on comics. When I was traveling back through the area again, I didn't hesitate to stop in with a friend and see how it was going. That was a mistake. Uncanny had to move again to another location in the mall over by Nordstrom. Shop's exterior and interior looks nice, not sure they did the work or the previous tenant did. Space is divided into three rooms. The main area has graphic novels, another houses new pull comics, and a final room is full of longboxes. Except...there's a barricade to the longbox room. My friend was confused and asked about it as we primarily came here for the longboxes. Even after being located here for a month, they don't have them ready. This is unacceptable and I felt bad for the employee, who probably had to tell this to more than one customer. For being in a prestigious location, the King of Prussia Mall, this shop lacks a lot of what it should and most of that is direction. I recommend Showcase Comics and Games in Bryn Mawr and Brave New Worlds in Willow Grove for shops that are well stocked, stable, and reliable.

Great comic shop in an unconventional location…read more Uncanny! is the first comic book store I've ever seen in a mall. The King of Prussia Mall is a massive shopping center, but lacked many of the nerdier stores such as Hot Topic, Box Lunch, and Spencers establishments where I can buy cool shirts, figures, and other geeky merch. Uncanny! fills that niche beautifully while also delivering on the experiences I expect from my local comic shop. Uncanny! isn't the largest store, but it makes up for it with excellent space usage. Products are organized neatly into sections from clothes to comics to games. The comic sections are further divided into recent comics, graphic novels, kid comics, and back issues (old/out of print comics). The store is well kept and clean, and the colorful decor makes it feel alive, even when there is no one else shopping. If you are a die-hard collector, you might be disappointed due to the limited availability of items. As mentioned, space is limited, so you might not find some of your old collector issues or rare figurines. But you will find most everything new. If you are looking for something, call ahead. The people here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair, except for the odd retail-exclusive comics that are a bit higher priced than what I've seen in other comic stores. They also offer a loyalty program. Spend X-money, get Y-gift cards. It's pretty simple, free to sign up, and has no expiration. So it's worth your time if you come to the mall every month or so. If you're looking for a gift for that nerdy someone, or just want to pick up the latest DC or Marvel comic, Uncanny! is a fun little stop in your mall shopping experience.

This location fails to even meet the bare minimum for a national chain. guest.relations@target.com Target Customer Relations, On 11/9/23 visited your Devon Target store (Wayne, PA) to purchase an item that was said to be in stock online. The inventory was cleaned out, and it is your corporate policy to issue a raincheck. The staff said they had no idea what a raincheck was. They even said Target doesn't do rainchecks, and they said goodbye without helping at all. How does this 180-degree disconnect occur? That same night, I then called the store 610-263-4744 and spoke to Sandra. I explained that there is a whole web page about Target's raincheck policy, and the manager ought to know this, and they should have helped instead of wasting customer time and gas to visit their store to buy an item that was not in stock. She told me her manager, Billy, was busy and she took my name and number for him to call me back. It is now 4 days later and Billy never called back. No one in this store knows how to do their job, no one wants to work. No one actually does any work, and no one has any shame about being lazy, unproductive, untrained, and worthless to customers. There seem to be zero repercussions for this because this has been the Devon store standard for a couple years now. No one in store was willing to put forth any effort to help me. You've now wasted over 2 hours on live chats, store visits, calls to store, and writing this email. Getting a raincheck should never be this miserable. And I still don't have one! I'm sending you this feedback so you can hopefully take action to correct the attitude of your staff at the Wayne, PA store, which is a dump.
