the store itself is great but overall why have self checkouts if the employe will still scan all ur items and do the transaction for you

Came here with a group of 7 UTMB medical students as a social outing for a scholars program. Amy,…read morethe owner, immediately greeted us and was accommodating when some of our classmates flaked (Gen Z, am I right?). We decided to do the medium-sized glass bowls and had a blast. We sat at a long table that could seat at least 10 as we chose our different colors and cuts. Two other large groups were in the studio and even added to the lively ambiance. Amy walked us through the process and then checked on us intermittently to make sure the process was going okay. We had a lot of fun doing something crafty with each other and I would highly recommend it for a work outing or large group social. My only regret is not getting a beer or two while we had the chance! Didn't realize until late that they offered drinks as well. My bowl was ready a few weeks after. And yes, I know it looks like a Turkey.

After our experience, I chose to reach out privately by email rather than just leaving a negative review. My goal wasn't to complain I genuinely hoped the feedback would help improve the experience for future families and visitors. Unfortunately, I never received any response or acknowledgment. What disappointed me most wasn't even the original visit it was realizing afterward that there didn't seem to be any interest in hearing customer feedback. A simple reply, acknowledgment, explanation, or even "thank you for taking the time to share this" would have gone a long way. I understand businesses get busy and not every message can result in a full resolution, but being completely ignored after taking the time to provide detailed, respectful feedback reinforced the same feeling we had during our visit: that customers were more of an afterthought than a priority. I still think the space itself has a lot of potential, which is why I reached out privately first. I just wish the customer experience had matched it.

The first hour is learning and actually creating your pottery design (planter or bowl) and the second hour is painting it. The instructor was patient and super helpful especially for first timers! I will have to pick it up in a week or two, but I will definitely be back and take the 4 week class and I like that the classes are small.

One of my friends did her babies feet prints on a tile to put in her future home. Another did decorations for her house, and me and the other friend painted custom mugs. prices are around 12 $ for small ornaments and things most small dishes/ items are around 28$, up to 100+ for larger pieces. really awesome considering you are making a custom pottery piece that is already built for you and they do all the work, you just get to paint it. staff is super sweet and it was totally worth it. we just walked in. Would make really good gifts/ keepsakes. Love the theme nights they have, so many options. very detailed instructions so you dont have to be scared if its your first time.10/10 recommend

My daughter had been looking forward to coming here all week during Spring Break. We arrived and…read morethere was large party in the private area but just a few customers on the walk in side. I went to the counter to see what we needed to do, and the young lady was checking out customers and an older gentleman was also behind the counter with her. A younger man also walked up behind the counter as we were standing there. No one offered any information or assistance as we stood there to the side. I eventually asked her if we needed to do anything specific since we were just standing there to the side and she said "oh, sorry! I thought you were with the large party." She gave us instructions to select our pieces and then have a seat and someone would be with us to do the next step. We selected our items and had a seat. The two gentlemen were still around the counter or back and forth to help other customers with paint, etc. I made eye contact with both of them and they both turned away at several engagements. After about 8-10 minutes of no one coming to our table, my 9 year old looked at me and said, "Mom, I feel like no one wants to help us, and they've seen us sitting here for a while." WOW. An experience I NEVER want my child to have. We put our pieces back carefully, and left. I hate that was her experience especially because she was really looking forward to it, and there aren't many opportunities like this in our area, but I won't bring her back to be ignored.
