Went to see a dermatologist about getting some botox and come to find out the Dr. is not even a real doctor. She dropped out of residency school. She claims that she is board certified but she is not even licensed. She was very pushy and belittled me. Seemed as if she only cared about how much I was gonna spend. I opted not to get a treatment and she attempted to still charge me a large fee. I immediately left and went to another medical spa here on the island. Do yourself a favor and look at the other spas. Serenity is a joke and only cares about your money not your concerns or any safety. The inside looked very depressing and almost felt like being in a psychiatric facility. read more

I consulted with a real dermatologist where she stated that I wasn't alone, there are others that she's had to workon and she's stated that patients mwmtioned that shes not a dermatologist, dropped out of residency and no official training. There's no way to know but i just looked that shes not board certified so, buyer beware! Worried that I'm now forever disfigured. It's been 10 long months read more

I recently got Morpheus 8 done by Dr. Thompson and it quickly became my favorite beauty treatment! Dr. Thompson did a wonderful job on my face and neck. She was very thorough to make sure I didn't experience any discomfort. I definitely recommend Serenity Dermatology to anyone looking for a skilled and experienced dermatologist. read more

I visited Dr. Thompson in late July. I called in and made an appointment to see Dr. Thompson. I did not make a medical appointment specifically nor did I make a cosmetic appointment specifically. I simply made an appointment to have a spot on my face looked at and try to figure out how to get rid of it. Dr. Thompsons website is EXTREMELY Deceptive! She states medical dermatology as well as skin cancer and she shows to be a medical Dr. so you'd think she'd know what she's looking at or at least have it biopsied before going forward with any other treatments. Well, she didn't... she walked in and first thing she did was take out a magnifying glass, took a look at my spot (that to me states medical exam) and then stated it's nothing! She recommended I get a chemical peel; even said it should just peel right off and what doesn't she'd have me back and microdermabrasion would take care of the rest!!!! Well, it didn't peel right off and I'd never had a chemical peel and it wasn't pleasant at all! The spot got worse quick, it got darker, raised and started to itch! I decided to go get a facial at the medispa I regular and I told her about my experience and she recommended I go to a specialist and gave me the name and number of one. She also told me that Dr. Thompson is not a licensed Dermatogist nor is she board certified and then she told me what to look for next time so I'd know that! It took me almost two months to get into see the specialist but after looking at the spot they told me they needed to biopsy it before deciding which path to take. I had to wait several days for the results but when they called me I was unbelievably ANGRY at Dr. Thompson when it was diagnosed as MELANOMA!!!!! Yes, it was melanoma before Dr. Thompson saw me but she should've known even if she's not a licensed dermatologist because she is a medical Dr.!!! She didn't take it serious and I lived with the spot 4 more months allowing it to grow deeper. The surgeon had to cut into my cheek, I had to wait and hour on testing and then if not cleared he had to cut again and I had to wait again on the testing and this took multiple times, over six hours to be exact! I'll never ever recommend Dr. Thompson and I hope that she will take situations like this differently in the future!! read more

Dearest Google User, It is my sincerest hope that this review finds you well. The winter skies have begun to part and the spring time beckons. As the sun warms the cool winter air and the spring birds sing I am reminded of the time your customer service warmed my skin with your lasers and cleared my heart with your love of customer service. An experience for which there is no parallel. 5 stars. Very truly yours, Jason read more

Dr. Thompson was really nice, I like that on my first round of Botox and lip filler we kept it subtle. I like Dr.s who take a conservative approach in the beginning so we can work and tweak things as we go. I haven't seen my results fully yet but even when I do I can return for touch ups. Definitely recommend her. read more

Dr. Thomas was the only one I ever got Botox from. My time schedule didn't allow me to come, so I have some new lady a try. Big waste of money. I'm here to have her fix it read more

What a great dermatology office right on Broadway! I stopped in after a long conversation with Dr. Thompson about my options for permanent hair removal. She explained what the office could provide and assured me that Mikalya, Serenity's Laser Technician would guide me through the process. Not having explored laser services or other dermatological offerings before, I was excited and a little nervous. There was no need though because as soon as I arrived Dr. Thompson greeted me with warm professionalism. The space is clean and bright with a calm ambiance. While the office is serene, the procedure was all business, just as one would expect during a medical procedure. After filling out a bit of paperwork I was taken back to the treatment space, given good instructions on the process and even a "test run" so I'd know what to expect once the laser started. The whole thing took about 15 minutes from start to finish! I pre booked for 3 weeks and received after care instructions. So far the painless process has left me excited for more and I'm already looking forward to further visits at Serenity! Update! I've had several services done at Serenity since I first visited for hair removal. The skin care expertise here is of the highest caliber and prices are fair for such extraordinary services. I've struggled with acne and hyper pigmentation since my early 20's. The procedures provided by Dr. Thompson have given me new confidence. Clearer, more balanced skin has emerged after every treatment and the products for continued and post-procedural care are magnificent! I'm grateful I finally have a relationship with a Physician with whom I can have frank conversation about my skin care struggles where she offers definitive solutions at a manageable price point. read more

Dr Thompson is awesome! Very efficient... you are in and out. Facility is beautiful and prices are great. I highly recommend

I've been driving to Houston for years to get Botox injections at a much higher price. I was so happy to find a convenient location on the island with great hours to fit my schedule. The office is very clean and beautiful. I was greeted by a friendly and professional technician upon arrival. She walked me through the procedure and gave very useful information about the pricing before the doctor came in. The doctor was also thorough in explaining her approach to the procedure. She was honest about what to expect and ensured my concerns were addressed before she proceed. I felt completely at ease. The procedure was relatively painless, and finished within two or three minutes. I would definitely recommend Serenity to a friend, and will be a repeat customer. read more

Wow - what a fabulous place! I felt the good vibes as soon as I walked through the door. I'd been to other spas for botox but Serenity has such an amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and Dr. Thompson could not have been more wonderful, thorough and knowledgeable. I was asked alot of questions about my skincare regimen/habits/history and really didn't have many to ask in return - so many issues were addressed; it was such a pleasant surprise! I purchased the services with a Groupon awhile back and I'm SO GLAD I DID! My face looks great - smooth and so natural - and I'm super happy with the results. I will definitely be a loyal client of Serenity Dermatology. Not sure what my next procedure will be but I'm sure it will be an absolutely lovely experience! Thank you, Dr. Thompson! read more

LOVE MY CLEAR COMPLEXION! I've had hyper pigmentation for years and spent a fortune on skin renewing products and dermatology visits that haven't made a difference. I went to Serenity Dermatology and the dermatologist (Dr. Bobbye) recommended a combination of dry/wet microderms and new peels. I've only been TWICE and my dark spots are almost invisible- they'll be completely gone by the next treatment! Dr. Bobbye is amazing and I'm so happy I found this new medispa! read more
