She claims that she is board certified but she is not even licensed. She was very pushy and belittled me. Seemed as if she only cared about how much I was gonna spend. I opted not to get a treatment and she attempted to still charge me a large fee. I immediately left and went to another medical spa here on the island. Do yourself a favor and look at the other spas. Serenity is a joke and only cares about your money not your concerns or any safety. The inside looked very depressing and almost felt like being in a psychiatric facility.

All without feeling rushed. No, I wasn't dreaming. I had a questionable mole that I wanted checked out. I told him my problem, explained the symptoms, and next thing you know, he's removed the entire thing with just a local anesthetic (I hate shots!) and my little friend is gone. Friendly, competent, professional--all in one doctor?! I'm still reeling from the experience. Though I hope I won't need to see a dermatologist again soon, I know exactly who I'd call if I needed to.

I've only lived in Galveston for about three years so I don't know much about the salons, spas, or medi spas here.... and Galveston can be a little ghetto lol! But I'm so glad I took a chance! Mikala, the owner and laser specialist is so nice and knowledgeable. I went there to get the spider veins removed on my thighs. During my treatment, Mikayla and I had a great conversation and she made me feel very comfortable. She did an excellent job and I will definitely be going back to get my tattoo removed and a chemical peel. Affordable, extremely clean, and friendly staff! What more could you ask for?! I'm so pleased with my results. If I seen overly excited it's because I am!!!!

I was led to believe my results would be the same as Mikayla's because she said my skin was like hers. No one ever told me there was the possibility of No change in my skin. And they claim to offer "hands-on aftercare" -- I received absolutely no after care phone calls; just cryptic 3-4 word texts like "As expected. Same today." and "Gentle salt scrub today. 2x if no reaction". After traveling to Galveston, spending $1200 and getting no results, I would not recommend Beautiful Laser to anyone -- I feel totally taken advantage of!

Went in for a simple heel spur surgery on November 14, 2025 and it's now May and the surgeon Dr. Punchbhavi screwed up and I've been laying in my bed for 7 months in constant enormous pain and the foot is still numb and all kinds of nerve damage and they refuse to do anything as my body is just withering away. My health is deteriorating and I have zero life and they refuse to help with the pain but yet patient advocate and the medical staff is worried about me using cuss words after 7 months of constant pain rather than getting me healthy and fixing their mistakes. Dr. Punchbhavi tried to amputate my neighbors toe also and he saw another Doctor and with some physical therapy, my neighbor is just fine and didn't lose his toe. Very poor ethics, if they have any at all. If this is what they teach their students is neglect, we are going to have some terrible doctors and nurses. If you can avoid this hospital, by all means do so. Nobody has returned my calls or messages or even attempted to fix me. I should've never went to them. I was active until I went to UTMB, now I'm bed ridden and can't do a single thing. Some times I can't even make it to the bathroom.
