(Which I do love BTW) This store has one of the most intuitive layouts I've ever encountered in a bookstore, and the selection, wow! After making all of my selections, I spoke to the owner for a bit. He seems to have a passion for finding everything interesting and unique. What a nice guy! I tried to keep it reasonable and only bought four books, but I already have plans to go back, and I reached out to friends who are in the area to see if there's anything they need! It seems more critical now than ever to have as many books as you can so that we don't lose history.

My dream was to have a book inspired photoshoot and she happily let us use luminary for the shoot. This was my first time learning of the bookshop as I'm new to town and so happy to have found it. This weekend I had the chance to come back and I'm so glad I did! The location is awesome. There's ample paid street parking and a ton of other stores and restaurants nearby. The front of the store is a large selection for adults and young adults, and then there's a nice kid section in the back. Employees are all awesome and very friendly AND will offer suggestions, which I love. I wish there was a bookstore like this one in my home town haha. But if you are in the area and are a reader, it's absolutely worth checking out!

This is how people that own these places get their houses in the hills above Reno...by conning and ripping off the average Joe day in and day out. I beg you not to waste your time with these literary cretins. It will cost you more in gas to drive there than they will offer you for your books. At first we thought it was closed because all of the lights were off. But the main door was unlocked and we entered. There was 3 people sitting at the table in the middle of the store - they stared us down but didn't say a word. I think my definition of "gift store" is different than theirs because I didn't see much that I would categorize in that department. The odor in this store was the usual thrift store aroma, with a splash of...something very unpleasant. We saw what looked like a music venue in the back with a few guys talking really loudly from that area. After wondering the store, we started to work our way to the front when one of the gentleman practically ran to follow us out. When we looked back at him, he pulled out his key and dangled it indicating he was locking the door behind us, still not saying a single word to us. Out of probably 5 people in that store, not a single one said anything to us. If they were closed, they should have locked the door behind them - it was Saturday late morning.... I would label this more as a used book/music/movie store. I definitely won't waste my time here again. Such a weird experience!
