I took them right back to the store it probably took me about 45 min. So, i took them up to the cashier who sold me the pants and asked if i could exchange them. She said yes. I pick out the right size and gave them to her at the register and she asked me for my receipt. I said receipt, i was just in here 45 minutes ago you sold me the pants. I told her i didnt want a cash refund I only wanted to exchange them for a bigger size.This place is awful i could not believe that ish. So i started looking for my receipt and while im looking the asian owner told me in a very rude tone next time bring your receipt. My son was with me at the time so i didnt act a donkey. I keep my cool but in my head i was like i dont need to steal 12 dollar school uniform pants from you P.A.B. The owner at this store does not respect his African American customers. All thrift stores are getting out of control, but savers is the worst of them. Over and over I find things from the dollar tree that they're selling for 3.29 or even close to $4. If the item has new tags, they jack up the price for more than what it's worth. I hope they know how much money they're losing for refusing to price their items fairly. There's so many things that I would've bought and I didn't because they were overpriced. Don't donate to this location. They are a for profit corporation that spends no money on inventory and sells it for more than it's worth brand new. At this point, I won't go back there to shop, but I will go back to take pictures and let everyone know to not waste their money at this store. Ps. With the outrageous prices the thrift stores charged nowadays, you're better off going to an antique store. They have more curated pieces, vintage and durable stuff and most of it is in working condition or undamaged. I find myself going to antique stores more and more. Comparing to the prices that thrifts used to charge back in the day, I would say antique stores are slightly more expensive. But, the way the pricing is now, you would probably find much better pieces than the trash savers sells for equal pricing.

I was looking for specific craft boxes and asked him for help. Instead of simply saying, "No, we don't have them," like others have in the past, he went above and beyond. He checked the back for me, and when they weren't there, he even scanned the barcode to see when they might be restocked. Upon entering (without even going to the register first) the guy at the counter near the door does not greet us when we walk in so I initiated the conversation by telling him we are here for an exchange, he doesn't say anything at all he just watches me take the two pairs of pants and receipt out of the bag and then he thoroughly inspects the pants and then the receipt. He lets us know to go get the pants and I ask if we can take them back so we can remember which ones they were. He then responds with,"no you can just go get them". My husband must have sensed that I was annoyed because he then asked the guy if he can take us back to get them so I went to the car while my husband finished the transaction because for the life of me I couldn't understand why I couldn't just take them to the back myself. I understand there are policies in place and he could've kindly communicated that but he didn't, his whole demeanor was unpleasant. Listen, I have spent thousand of dollars at Street One Clothing and should've gone with my gut the first time I came into the store and they followed us around like we were going to steal something.
