And she loses it just a tad. There's an edge to her voice that was not present with the people in front of me. Lady: It's a dollar, everything is a dollar. That's why it's called the DOLLAR tree. Me: OK, well there are lots of places called 'dollar' stores, Dollar General, Family Dollar... where not everything is a dollar. Lady: Look at the wall back there. It says $1, everything is a dollar. The merchandise is numbered then you find the number that corresponds with the price. The clothes rack were color coded. So each color represented a different price. It is on the left when you walk in. I find the prices at Arlington Resale to be quite high when compared to alternatives. That being said, I can swing a few extra dollars for a quality item. My issue comes from selection. There's just not a lot of clothing options, which is what I thrift for. It's very slim. I love dresses, there is not many there. Even going months apart, they still have the same dresses up. I'm just not sure if they don't regularly receive clothing donations or if it's a matter of stock not being rotated out or added? Another issue I have are the shoes. They have the ability to do sizing, there are plenty of shelves. Instead, they organize by color. I almost skip it entirely when I would usually check out the shoes. It's not easy to look through, and many of the shoes have sat for so long they have a layer of dust on them. I like their crafting section, which is why I am giving three stars. They are organized fabulously and well priced on crafting supplies. They also carry a good deal of home items, albeit they are overpriced.
