As I'm sipping my delicious wine, I find that my mind is drawn to one important thought: This Ollie's Bargain Outlet that I visited in Clarksville two months ago would have been greatly improved if they sold wine. Ollie's doesn't sell wine (or any alcohol, for that matter). Too bad! But if you're in the market for discounted boxes of Hungry Jack mashed potatoes, bird feeders, comforter sets, off-brand slider storage bags, water guns and neoprene gloves, Ollie's is your store. There's a lot of stuff everywhere, and honestly, it's a little overwhelming. Ollie's takes a page from the Aldi playbook: There are just ripped open boxes of items on the shelves. To heck with aesthetics -- Ollie's is too busy saving you money to fiddle around with arranging items on a shelf nicely. I stopped in to get some lotion, and wouldn't you know, I could only find one bottle of lotion in the whole store. It wasn't a brand that I would have normally bought, but you can't be picky at Ollie's. You get what you get or you can get the eff out. Visiting Ollie's is like participating in a treasure hunt. You don't know what you'll find, or if you'll find anything at all. But it's worth a shot to stop in and try.

I've read several business articles stating Penney's is headed for bankruptcy…read more Normally I'm sympathetic to the plight of stores closing. However, after our experience with the Penney's store in the Greentree Mall, I totally understand why they are headed in that direction. Since the first of March, we've taken every precaution to protect ourselves from Covid. One of our strategies has been to use curbside touch less shopping as much as possible. We made an online purchase at Penney's which in itself was a debacle, but we did finally get it done. We received an email stating our order had arrived at the Greentree Mall Penney's. The email even gave instructions as to the steps to pick up our purchase curbside. Included was the local phone number to call upon arrival for pick up. We arrived at the designated area and called the specified number. It rang forever, then we received a voicemail stating no one was available. We chose to be transferred to the store's operator. Once again after numerous rings, the call went to voicemail stating no one was available to take the call. We waited a few minutes and then went through the same call/ voicemail, call/ voicemail. We did that THREE times and never got in touch with anyone! Finally we decided to drive around to the front of the store, mask up, and go into the store. Once inside we did retrieve our package. When we related what happened and our displeasure, we were given a half hearted sorry about that. Kind of defeats the whole idea of curbside pick up!

However, I feel like their clothes are not the best quality, but are a cheap price. I do occasionally find things that are a bit overpriced and would probably never buy something that isn't on sale here. They do have a Sephora, which (I think) would make it the only one in Southern Indiana, so it's nice to have that there. I feel like JCPenney has been going downhill over the years, and may potentially be lead to the grave where Sears was sent to. But only time will tell.

Let's keep it right on Target!…read more Ladies primarily it's our favorite store truly! Shall we celebrate that they have truly everything that we need, plus some extra stuff too. Shall we proceed! This the first encounter here at this place. We just relocated to the area. This location of "this" Target is primarily a set up as other locations across the country. This particular Target location is larger than most and they can therefore stock more. What's not to love about that? Make sure and sign up for the app and card and get all sorts of rewards and perks. My cashier today's name was Sandy, she was truly amazing. She makes genuine connections with her customers. In fact many individuals come back because of her. Make sure and convey this to her supervisor staff. She's too amazing! Please make sure she knows. The selection of the store is amazing. The shelf's are full. And when I needed an extra little help they had employees that would offer aid. That's the best! Target is great. It's a little more pricey than most but at this point in life, it's literally worth the cost . Life is short so live your best life . Here we go. We are staying healthy and happy. Until the next time!

As I browsed the store & started picking up things to buy, I was sure that I wasn't going to get out of there for less than $50. My final bill was only $14! Some things are dirt cheap. Other things are cheap, but way too expensive for what they are. Other things are just expensive. My biggest advice for this store is to only go here when you're needing something for your home. If you go aimlessly looking, then you might come out with more than a few things that you didn't need at all. This store did seem more organized than at home. It's also much smaller. I still spent nearly 2 hours in the store looking at things, but that beats 3-5 hours in a larger comparable store. I'll most likely be back, but it'll be when I'm looking for something specific.

After ooohing and aaahing over all the spring and summer lights and the great patio furniture we made our way to the wall decor. I believe we were there for what felt like an eternity. I still didn't have time to make it down every isle. There were paintings and candles and trinkets for days. You can buy linens and coffee mugs, a new broom or whatever you might need and the prices here are reasonable. There were a few isles that I'd noticed were clearance. I love a good sale. Then again who doesn't. This is a must browse even if you don't buy. There is so much to see.
