They seem to use "third party independent delivery drivers" who in my opinion lack common sense. Not only was the order incorrect but they couldn't even be bothered to put it in a bag or box.... I have never experienced anything like this... I won't be back to Michaels after this. A fellow customer had this one in his cart with the price of $399 (we actually helped each other put them in each other's carts). When I got to the checkout it rang up $449. The cashier told the manager that was the wrong price. The fellow customer a few lanes over had the same issue. Rang up $449. HE got HIS AC for $399, but- because my box didn't have a sticker- I was told I could either pay $449, or return it and go to Lowes. The manager actually said that to me: "yea, sounds like a good idea. Go to Lowe's." I was shocked! Never experienced customer service where the guy in the next lane pays one price and I pay another. The employee gestured that I needed to call corporate. In the pics, you'll see the SKU on the price on the box the fellow customer had matches the SKU on my return receipt. INSANE! Any other Ocean State. We have like ten around here. That lady should not be in a managerial position. She was rude, dismissive, WRONG, and about 3 days past due her shower/laundry rotation. The staff at this location is excellent. Everyone I've dealt with is kind and helpful. They all seem to genuinely love books and helping those of us who still love to purchase books. If they don't have what I'm looking for in stock, they'll do what they can to find what I need. This branch also loves to do a lot of community activities. A lot of the staff are Harry Potter fans, as they decorate it a lot with Potter decor and fun. I know coming soon their hosting their own version of the "Yule Ball". I hope to attend myself! They do a lot of fun events like this, for kids and adult. I think it's such a great way to get people more involved in the book store. They don't all involve Harry Potter, but being a Potter fan myself, those events in particular make it awesome. If you're looking for a book store in the area, definitely check out this location!

Last week the stars aligned and I was able to drop in. My first impression was "cute". It's a very tiny space, but there is a wide variety packed in. There are a lot of different price points. A few items were "wow, that's expensive", while others I thought were priced really cheap and snatched them up. I ended up leaving with some jewelry (that I've already gotten complements on), a book, and a few things that I am going to tuck away for gifts. I am by no means a visual artist but I had a blast just looking at the supplies. What really blew me away was the customer service. I was greeted right away (as was everyone who entered the store) and informed that there was a sale going on and not to hesitate to ask if I needed assistance. I ended up taking them up on the offer to help as the pencil eluded me, but they put me on the correct path. Checking out was a breeze and they also told me I qualified for an educational discount of 10% everything not already on sale. All said, I got what I came for (along with a few other items) and was very happy with the experience.

Books for all (childrens) ages from picture books to chapter books and graphic novels. I had a new author in mind and they had his books in stock. That was a pleasant surprise. On the way to check-out I saw an adorable Halloween book I thought a 9 month old I know might enjoy and added that to my pile. Parking is in a large, shared lot.
