While there I noticed a hand lotion product that I usually buy at the local Publix store. It was an off brand , but the same product with twice the content , 16 Fl Onces instead of 7.5. While waltzing down an aisle I spotted a large lonely bag of buttered popcorn. It appeared so lonely and sad I just had to buy it. You know , to nibble on while watching a Saturday Hallmark Movie. Lol. In total , I purchased six (6) items. Total purchase price , $7.50 + tax. I thought to myself , when was the last time I made a purchase of 6 items for less than $8.00 ??? I was so excited I felt like a little girl enjoying her first ice cream cone. lol Of course , being a man , I don't usually get excited. ( Unless my Team wins the Super Bowl ) lol. There was a short line in front of me but the lady cashier was sooo speedy fast at ringing up every item that I was out of there rápido. All in all I had an enjoyable experience shopping at Dollar Tree. It was In & Out ... without the burger and fries Lol. I'll be back Dollar Tree. Even with many people shopping, the aisles were clean and easy to navigate. They had a good clearance section, too. Although some of the markdowns could have been better. The fitting rooms were clean. And they had extra help at the desk where you stop to have your clothes checked and receive your plastic number of the clothes you bring in to try on. There was a long line at the check out; however here too, they'd added extra cashiers to move the line fairly quickly. Good to know this store was here --especially since I found an outfit that I liked and it even wanted to come home with me.

He's over qualified, yet still went to test my earlier hypothesis. The store mgr sent him 6 "reminders" of his interview. Apparently, Nick (the store mgr) was running 3 hrs late and couldn't be there. Another "manager" tried interviewing him. She didn't know anything, but informed him the manager role he was interviewing for was already FILLED and she didn't understand why the store mgr is still interviewing and wasting people's time. Yet, another example of a business wasting people's valuable time. Why does Bealls practice this deception?

After getting everything packed, driving out there, and setting everything up, we discovered the umbrella had clearly been used and was so badly damaged that it literally fell apart when we opened it. We couldn't even use it. Extremely frustrating when you buy something specifically because you need it that day. When I returned it, I wasn't upset about the $40. My concern was how an item in that condition ended up back on the shelf for another customer to purchase. I tried explaining this to a manager/"Coach" named James. Instead of listening to my concern, he became defensive, repeatedly interrupted me, and spoke to me in a condescending manner. When I referred to Walmart as "y'all," he immediately responded, "We didn't do that. We didn't put that back on the shelf," as though I was personally accusing him. What really surprised me was another employee telling me, "We do not check the products when they're returned. We just trust the customer." If that's actually the procedure, that's concerning. I doubt anyone is putting a returned PS5 straight back on the shelf without checking it first. Why should a customer buying a $40 item deserve any less consideration? The defective umbrella was frustrating, especially because it affected our beach plans. But the dismissive attitude from James when I raised a legitimate concern is what really turned this into a bad customer-service experience.

One item I was looking for was a swimsuit and apparently, they do not sell them anymore. You can typically get a good value on what you do find. I usually shop more at TJ Maxx around the holidays or when I have gifts to buy. Today I found sandals and plastic cutting boards. I also didn't need to wait in a long line to check out. And when I did check out, the employee was friendly and efficient.

I like that this Home Goods is nice and big, my main issue is the parking situation with Costco around the corner and a TJ Maxx next door. The store is always well stocked and I feel like I can find a deal but I also know that I get what I pay for so I go in with a plan of locating certain items from certain brands. The store is well stocked for the most part, I enjoy coming here.
