Yeah, there are a plethora of discount stores out there, so it takes a lot to stand out among them. Well, one stop by Homebuys told my lady and I all we needed to know. This place has SO much stuff at GREAT prices. We went somewhat on a whim one night after I'd casually mentioned it to my lady... And we left with a couple bags worth of excellent deals. The place itself is pretty big and they have a big variety of goods to offer. From food, to furniture, to clothing, to home decor, to wine and beer, to party favors, to toys... So much to see! The staff are really nice too. I think my lady and I were almost overwhelmed by it all! So far, we've gone back at least twice within two weeks for more deals. This isn't your average discount shop, it's BETTER, and much better maintained than Ollie's or Dollar General plus much more variety. Plus they actually have good craft beer and wine (Big selling point for ME there!). I'm pretty sure my lady and I will become regulars here for all the great deals!

I can't reach them on the phone to call about the issue because the number is disconnected. I'm hesitant to take it back because this place is so trashy, I imagine they would accuse me of stealing it! This place is ghetto, no AC, and they sell expired food and cosmetics. If you're really desperate to save some money I guess this is a good option, but good luck not getting burned on bad quality products.

Not to mention I can go to any decent retail store and buy something brand new with the same prices. I took two totes of clothes up, some had tags from Carter's and other stores, and they accepted maybe 10 items. I even tried to sell them brand new Nike shoes never worn and they sent them right back. Highly disappointed with how the store has went in a different direction.

Their chicken tamales with verde sauce are spicy, the red sauce tamales are mild, mole version is decent, and the jalapeño with cheese & peppers is really great. The burrito was huge and delicious. You order at the counter in the restaurant area, and while your food is being made, go grab a drink in the grocery area, pay at the register by telling them what you ordered. They also have fresh produce, meat counter, and fresh baked bakery goods. They only have a small seating area insides but it's A MUST try!

The home goods section can be a mixed bag, but I've found some really great items there. They have a smaller book section, but I've found that the titles are usually pretty good. Prices are generally pretty fair. If you're looking for recognizable brand-name clothes at a bargain though, this might not be the place because they know what they have and tend to price up on anything with a known brand name, regardless of the item's condition. I left today with a desk chair, a wooden shelf, an Athleta top, a lightly used board game, and a book that had been on my TBR list. Overall, definitely worth stopping by if you enjoy thrifting!

I needed to find an unusual gift that made a statement. I had almost forgotten how well stocked the shop is and the variety of merchandise. The best part is the phenomenal staff.
