I finally visited Kids Closet for the first time this month. I was pretty excited to see what they…read morehad to offer. I am a big fan of thrifting and secondhand stores for my baby clothes and sometimes toys/gear. It's a great way to save money. The location is really easy to find and since it's on the edge of the strip mall, I found quite a few close parking options. Walking in, the staff seemed to be in a pretty long conversation with some other guests about an item she was trying to sell that was vintage. I wandered around happily at my own pace since I wasn't looking for anything specific. They did come by and tell me about pricing on a special front rack being very low. There wasn't anything for me on that rack, just looking for different sizes and wear level, but it's nice you can still pick up some $1 items here if you're on a strict budget but just need clothes for your growing baby! I found a little more success in the main clothing area. There was an outfit set I bought that looked like new for about $5. I also found a brand new bag of swim diapers in my baby's size for a price better than target, so I grabbed those. I also noticed at check out there was some new in the box baby bottles in the size/brand I needed cheaper than target, so I grabbed those too. It was a fairly successful shopping trip and I'm happy to see there is a secondhand kids store in town. The only downside to me was the merchandising/organization were pretty poorly done in a good chunk of the store. The clothing was straightforward enough, but everything in the middle and south wall of the store really was chaotic and just kind of turned me off from wanting to look through anything in those sections. I did also ask what items they may need to buy specifically from people, and the answer was a bit generic and surprising. Either way, I am wishing them all the success and continued growth! This is definitely a place worth checking out if you have young kids, toddlers, or babies and want to save some money.

First of all, the items available are amazing, and most are surprisingly inexpensive . It's worth a visit if you're looking for anything to finish off your decor, or for gifts . We bought a framed painting that is perfect for our bedroom, and was very reasonably priced for an item already framed. (Going back for another next week!) Customer service... They offer water to customers, whether you purchase or not . The staff were extremely nice, but did not try to sell us on anything. They were there when we needed them, and doing their own thing while we browsed. They have bathrooms for guests . It was located in the back of a shopping center but it was a nice hidden gem. I was greeted by the owner Julie who offered her help. I browsed the store and saw so many items I personally loved. I purchased a cool Cocktail book of recipes from around the world. I also purchased some really cute marble heart coasters. My friend was very happy with her gift. As my boyfriend and I were browsing through their selection we decided to stop to take a picture at a mirror near one of their sections. I don't know if the employee knew how loud she was but we clearly heard her comment, "Every time people pass by that mirror they stop to take a picture. It's stupid. It's dumb." It dampened our moods completely. We didn't get to even finish looking at the front of the store. We put the item we had in our hand back in their place and left. Really saddened about the experience and the fact that we couldn't enjoy the rest of the store as we could see they had lots of variety and the prices seemed reasonable from what we did see. Here are some of the pictures we managed to take before leaving. Update: upon further review a lot of recent reviews seem to be about the same women with the same common factor. She only provides terrible atmosphere and service to people of color. Which is very disappointing to see that so many customers come excited to come and explore to only leave feeling worse due to something we can't change. Especially in this climate and day of age, it's saddening to see such hate being spread.

Sooo much to look around and buy. There's also entrepreneurs selling their items like handmade candles and snacks. We also bought a gorgeous picnic basket for a pretty cheap price comparing to nearby antique stores ! This one was by far the best one with reasonable pricing. The lady was so sweet. She even took our items to the front while we continued looking so we wouldn't carry it all. Very lovely store, we will be coming back!

All the products are gently used and great quality. They even have a free padded playroom for your little ones while you shop. The rewards program makes it super easy to rack up points and get discounts. Not that you really need the discounts, I got everything in the picture for less than $19! In total, I got 3 dresses, 3 onesies, 2 pants, 1 top plus pants and headband set, 12 headbands, and 12 beanies.
