Unfortunately, she lives in Long Beach and they wouldn't honor the gift certificate unless you live within a 10 mile radius. We were given the options of buying a day pass or sign up. After a bit of bickering back and forth, we decided to leave. The 12 may be a good gym - but it def left a sour taste in our mouths. It was def a bummer that we weren't able to try them out and test the ice plunge thing. Oh well.

The facility is always well-stocked, the equipment is organized (unlike many public gyms), and everything is consistently clean and well maintained. It's a welcoming environment where excellence and care are clearly a priority. I was introduced to a few different workouts I haven't done before. Even at other studios. I even had a class that included a bit of cardio and others worked out legs and arms at the same time. After my first few classes I didn't feel sore after, but now I definitely do. The structure is mostly the same starting with core followed by a variation of legs, arms, and obliques. I also really like the last minute of core work at the end of class. I'm a night shift nurse and it conflicts with the current schedule where most classes are only in the morning. They also said they will be adding more class times soon. Looking forward to that and bringing my friends to class!
