Absolutely love Optimal Fitness! I've been doing personal training sessions for the past month and…read moream very pleased with the work routines thus far. My trainer is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares. He really takes the time to show me proper technique. I am in no means someone that grew up being athletic. With some track in high school, and going to the gym sporadically, I never felt like I knew what I was doing. Aside from being able to complete certain tasks during my workout, my trainer also stresses the importance of stretching, and breathing, which are detrimental to your exercise regime. I have learned a lot so far, and look forward to continuing my sessions. I even got my Aunt into coming with me as well, and we will now complete group sessions together with the trainer. I highly recommend him!

From the very first session, her professionalism and expertise have been evident. She is extremely knowledgeable about fitness and exercise science and incorporates physical therapy techniques into every workout, ensuring that the exercises not only build strength and endurance, but also promote proper form and injury prevention. Her ability to explain the purpose and benefits of each exercise in detail is impressive - I always leave our sessions with a deeper understanding of how my body is working. Even more impressive is Elizabeth's ability to create varied, engaging workouts that challenge me without feeling overly difficult. She has an incredible talent for utilizing the minimal at-home equipment I have to design workouts that are both effective and enjoyable. I never feel bored (which usually happens quickly for me) or plateaued, as she is constantly coming up with new routines to keep my body guessing. Elizabeth's coaching style is incredibly motivating, yet subtle. She has a way of pushing me just beyond my comfort zone without ever making the workout feel arduous or unmanageable. I consistently surprise myself with what I'm able to accomplish, all while feeling supported and encouraged by her positive energy. Considering the personalized attention I receive (as well as my little Pomeranian princess) and the fact that Elizabeth drives to my home, her rates are more than reasonable. I save significantly by not having to pay for a gym membership or travel to an exercise studio (not to mention the convenience of not having to go anywhere). Most importantly, I'm getting a customized workout plan tailored specifically to my needs and goals. Without a doubt, Elizabeth is the best personal trainer I've ever had. Her unparalleled knowledge, innovative programming, and motivating presence have transformed my fitness journey. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking to improve their health and wellness. I know Elizabeth works with different types of clients, but for reference, I'm 37 and my goal was to NOT be "skinny fat" and Elizabeth certainly helped me not only achieve but maintain that goal.

When I first contacted Elizabeth about being my trainer, she was so friendly and eager to answer…read moreany questions I had. She went into details on the many ways she would help me reach my fitness goals. Upon meeting her, she was welcoming and had the most bubbly personality, which I love. Not only did she make me feel comfortable but her professionalism was unmatched. She is very educated in her field and seem to genuinely care about my health and fitness desires. Due to how nice Elizabeth is, I did expect her training to be a little lax but in all honesty she's a sweet and rough cookie. I got a workout I was not expecting. She pushed me harder than I thought I could. She took details to my specific problems areas and created workouts based on them. I would say she exceeded my expectations with her way of training. I like that it was personalized around my fitness level, goals, eating habits and body shape. I am already slim but a little puggy in the mid section plus a little soft in my lower body so my fitness goals are to tone my legs, butt and gain abs. From the beginning, she targeted these areas in ways my body was not used to. I definitely wouldn't have been able to do those workouts without her expertise. Before each training she would use a massage gun on my body to warm up my muscles, sort of like stretching. Doing so allowed my workouts to be smoother and safer on my muscles. During my first training with Elizabeth, she discovered I have a slight balance issue so for my second training she started to implement exercises to increase my balance while still focusing on my main concerns. I love that she took attention to details when training me. It definitely shows how much she cares and wants to see my improvement. I can honestly say that I see a difference from just a few trainings with Elizabeth than I've seen working out for months on my own. After each training sessions, I've felt sore but also confident in how great of a workout I had. I wouldn't change anything about the way Elizabeth trained. I am glad I found her and look forward to more trainings with her in the future.

After the birth of my second son I wanted to begin working out but was not ready to join a gym…read more The gym experience was not for me, it made me extremely uncomfortable. I began researching various gyms to see if trainers would meet me at home to train. That is when I received Tricia's number. I've been training with her for the better part of 12 years. In these 12 years I've watched a person that thirsts for knowledge grow and better themselves for the betterment of their clients. This is what makes Tricia special. Her drive and desire to learn and help is amazing to say the least! This desire to be better and to make you be a better version of yourself comes through in her coaching skills. From fitness training, nutrition consultations, life coaching, massage treatments and pain relief support. You DO get to reach the goal you set with her careful guidance. For myself, I strive to be more healthy and fit and to insure my boys to do the same. Tricia has often times trained them as well and has become an intricate part of our family. Her training sessions vary according to the individual. She is able to read the signs your body is giving and adapt the workout accordingly. Every workout or nutrition plan is built around the client. What makes me keep going back for more is that not one workout is the same. Every time I see Tricia she throws a new and improved movement in the mix. I've boxed, wrestled, cross trained, weight trained, cardio trained and even done yoga (Tricia's yoga happens to be my favorite it is made specifically for me). Every workout is a great cardio workout. This is the kind of training I enjoy. In the past I was in need of massage therapy and life coaching and she was there to provide me with the best care necessary. If you are looking for a tailor-made workout or nutrition plan she is the key to your future success. The level of care Tricia provides is by far the best i've seen. You get results with Tricia and beyond that you get a caring individual that will be there whenever you need.

Cuddling your darling and burning calories!! What more could you ask for?!?!?…read more No Sitter Required to Burn calories and get an excellent workout! Most Moms struggle with trying to work out and attending to their newborns- I certainly did! Mommycise Fitness combines both and allows you to be a mom AND workout with a facility that allows you to bring your babe to your workout and incorporate your child into your workout as needed. I researched far and wide for a place to workout that I could bring the baby to. Although some gyms offer a separate play area for kids, they are often unclean, force you to leave your child with a complete stranger and don't allow you to see your babe while you workout. What mom would be comfortable with that?!? Not this mom and not any mom I know! Mommycise Fitness is different! This is the only studio that allows you to bring your babe INTO your workout class and even use your sweetie as a weight! With the opening of their new studio at the Harbor Shops, my workout possibilities increased infinitely and I couldn't be more thrilled at the convenience and offerings!! Mommycise already has a HUGE following since the owner/instructor Kim has been hosting classes around Broward County for quite some time. The opening of this location triples their offerings making it even more convenient for busy moms like me. Kim leads classes in a fun, dance studio atmosphere, complete with toys on the sides to keep babes occupied. Feel free to feed your baby or give him snacks in this 100% baby/toddler/infant friendly facility!! Bring your babe's favorite toys or let him explore the selection already there! CLASS TYPES: Class offerings are DIVERSE! Yoga, Core, Boot Camp, Cardio, and more!! In two weeks, Mondays will offer Mommy & Me Music Classes too! Can't wait! CLASS TIMES: Choose from several morning and evening options, six days a week! Pre-register online or on the app for any class-- no consistency required! COST: Classes are sold individually (@$20 per class), in bulk packages of 10 or 20 for a discounted rate, or in an unlimited monthly pass where you can attend as many classes as your schedule allows!! I went with the unlimited package to take advantage of as many of the offerings as possible. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: Kim also promotes a healthy lifestyle by organizing Moms to run/walk in local marathons and have Girl's Nights Out! For new and first time moms, this is a lifesaver as you struggle to stay healthy, lose weight and relax- I just wish I found them earlier! Thank GOODNESS someone finally created a solution for moms like me!

Such a great workout and sometimes I am sorer than playing soccer or my spin class ! Great work out routines and exercises that they have put together for us ! I have enjoyed each class I have taken with both fantastic women and looking forward to my next classes. A lot of the workout classes are increasing in competitive rates but I have to justify that this makes total sense, since you don't need a sitter and can workout while or with your kid playing and interacting. It's such a pleasure have the luxury to be able to bring your child(ren) to a bootcamp class while they're crawling, walking, running and playing around. It also helps build social skills for your little one and stimulates their mind ! They have tons of toys on the outer area of the room to entertain your little one while you're pumping iron and sweat ! And you can't help to look in your child's way and get a smile and makes those few extra pounds you're trying to work off all worth it ! LOL They also sometimes have a photographer set up for special occasions/holidays. I was lucky enough to stumble in here around Father's Day and had the CUTEST little set up of a photo shoot. Of course, I participated ! Susan was really sweet and captured such great photos! They were a hit for Daddy :) Thank you Mommycise for existing ! And helping us moms get back in to shape and understanding the struggles of getting a sitter just for a 50 minute work out can be challenging and costly to thinking of incorporating the two :)
