The bottom line here is that FitnessBetter provided excellent service at a reasonable price. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. We contacted FitnessBetter when our elliptical broke. Communication with the company is a little slow, but a tech came out in a reasonable amount of time and quickly diagnosed the problem - a broken part. They helped us find a replacement part (our machine is nearly 9 years old) and then promptly fixed it. We had a small problem after the fix and they came right out and dealt with it. All in all, we are extremely happy with the service. read more

Left a message for treadmill service. They never contacted me. They don't take phone calls. Very poor and nonresponsive company.

Very impressed with this operation. They are highly responsive, offer fast service, and know their stuff. They're not cheap, but the cost is absolutely worth it. The tech who serviced our treadmill (Adam) was very professional, friendly, and super knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, and was a delight to work with. I honestly feel silly that we ever used any other company previously. 100% would recommend, and will definitely plan to call them again when needed. read more

Great service, timely and experts in exercise equipment, specifically treadmills. Highly recommend

Adam is by far one of the nicest most honest professionals I've ever met. He fixed my stepmill that was clicking and skipping every so often. He was on time, honest and responsive to all the issues. His prices are amazing and I would recommend him for any fitness machine repairs or assembly's that you may have. Will definitely use him going forward for any fitness repairs. I contacted Fitness Better to repair a treadmill in my home. They responded promptly to accommodate my schedule and arrived within the arranged time frame. Adam was professional and knowledgeable about the parts needed to complete the repair. He helped me register the treadmill and knew the part needed was under warranty and would be free from the treadmill company. He completed the job the day after the part came in and the treadmill works perfectly. I recommend this company to anyone who needs repairs for their exercise equipment. read more

I needed my treadmill belt replaced. I contacted Fitness Blender LLC, and I received assistance with treadmill belt purchase options as well as repair scheduling options. Wow. This has been the smoothest experience I have ever had with a company. After calling around to several places I found FitnessBetter Assemblers to be the best option. I called their number and the voice message said to leave a voicemail and that someone would call me back. They also can be emailed or you can send a direct text message. Which is great because they respond to texts really quickly. I told them what I needed and asked when they had availability. They offered the same day if I wanted! I needed them two days later and we scheduled a date/time for the technician to come. Adam came today and the whole experience has been very pleasant. He was on time and even sent a text letting me know when he was on the way. As soon as I opened the door he greeted me, introduced himself and offered a business card. Very professional. Also, he offered to take his shoes off because he noticed we don't wear them in the house and I know this may seem small, but with babies I'm usually careful about that. I was pleasantly surprised that he offered before I could ask. We have a new elliptical machine that needed to be assembled and he did an amazing job. The service was quick. It was clean. He picked up everything and made sure it was all put away. He even took the time to walk me through using the new machine and offered some tips on how to keep it maintained so it could work for a long time. I am very happy I chose this company. Adam is wonderful and I am confident he is the best choice. Trust me, I called around and couldn't be happier with this whole experience from start to finish. read more

I want to add to the good reviews for Fitness Better. Yesterday Adam assembled, cleaned and serviced an old LifeFitness treadmill and elliptical I had aquired from neighbors that were in multiple pieces (some mice had moved into (and out of) the treadmill, making the job even more unpleasant), and repaired our old LifeFitness exercycle that had developed a clunky noise. He was on time, quick, professional, clearly knew what he was doing, reasonably priced and very nice. We couldn't be happier. read more

Excellent service on my treadmill. My Yowza is now five years old and performs as well as new. Adam has been the only tech to touch it in the last three years, and I will continue this routine. The service is the best, the prices are fair, and his communications and timely visits are great. He earns five stars from everyone that uses him for their equipment. read more

I can't begin to say how pleased I am with this business. Our old elliptical was making an awful noise and Adam came and fixed it. He had to come out more than once for several problems and was so patient and thorough. He is also very respectful and polite. Their prices are also very reasonable. If we ever need our equipment moved or repaired I would certainly use FitnessBetter again. We highly recommend them! read more

Excellent experience, starting with booking all the way through to follow up. Scheduling was easy via email and they were responsive to some of my follow-up questions. Adam was our technician and is a true professional. Showed up on-time, adhered to all social distancing/masking/coverings. He outlined the work he would be doing (comprehensive check/maintenance) beforehand and the approximate time it would take to perform the check-up. Once complete, he gave a detailed assessment of the work (with pictures of before/after for transparency) and stepped through his recommendations and implications, answering all of my questions. Not pushy or sales-y, just honest and thorough. First-class work. read more

We really needed help diagnosing issues with our treadmill and Adam was amazing. He was responsive in getting our appointment setup, met his arrival window, and super courteous. I am back again to sing the praises of Adam and FitnessBetter. After doing a great job servicing my home gym, I called on him again to assemble my stationary exercise bike. There was no way I could have done this myself because of all the tricky electronics. Adam was very familiar with my bike and put it together expertly and quickly. Best of all he walked me through how all the features worked. Again, can't say enough about Adam's excellent work. read more

Adam did an outstanding job fixing up our clunky treadmill! We've had the machine for five years but never had it maintained or calibrated. Adam took care of that and moved the treadmill to fit our request. He explained everything he did and suggested some things we can do to maintain the treadmill ourselves. The next time we need professional service, we're coming back to Fitness Better! Thanks again, Adam read more

On Thursday, Feb 13, I booked an appointment to have my elliptical repaired thru their website. First available time they had was Tuesday, Feb 18 at 1045. I was not given a price quote at this time, but got an email saying that I would get a quote shortly. 30 minutes later, I replied to that email to ask about the price. The response was that they do not have availability for the time that I booked, and that they could come between 2-3p. A quote was given at this time. I replied back and asked if they had any earlier appointments, as I could not do the time they suggested. After a couple hours of no reply, I selected another company and had a Saturday appointment booked quickly. Fitness Better DID reply later that day saying they didn't have an earlier time, and the next time they had was Thu, Feb 20 between 2-3p. Given that I already had an appointment booked, I ignored this email. Today I received an email from them saying that the availability for Thu, Feb 20 was no longer available. :) I replied and told them that I was glad I went with another company and already got it fixed. They thanked me for my consideration.. Haha. Oh, and I paid almost half of what Fitness Better had quoted me. Look elsewhere if you need something fixed. read more

I worked with a technician to repair my Proform treadmill. I paid $200 to FitnessBetter and gave them all of my warranty information. Proform warranty department said that the technician did not perform the proper diagnostics and would not send the new console until I used their technician. I basically paid $200 for nothing. I would not recommend this company. read more

I never knew my workout equipment would need a "tune up" instead of a replacement. Thank God for fitness better assemblers. Adam came in an overhauled all of my old equipment and everything runs better than when it was new!!! Thank you Adam, the customer service was superb!!!! They Arrived ahead of the quoted time. I called and got a response for "same day" service! If you need your equipment tuned up, moved, adjusted, or repaired I recommend this company without hesitation. read more

About as good as it gets. Not the cheapest, but probably the best value. Online scheduling worked perfectly. Adam J arrived exactly when he said he would, then proceeded to diagnose and treat our treadmill. Even more remarkable, the BodyGuard treadmill is a rare breed [Chinese] for the last decade or so primarily distributed in Canada. Adam J knew the machine, knew how to run the diagnostics and, most important, knew how to fix it. If you're addicted to outstanding customer service coupled with superior expertise, save yourself some time and just call these guys. read more

They were absolutely outstanding. I was moving from one area of DC to another and needed to move my Peloton bike. I didn't want to leave this to the movers since it's a high value piece of equipment. After setting my appointment, they called the day before to lay out what the process would be and then again an hour before they arrived to let me know they were on the way. Everything was taken apart and wrapped up for the move and they came by the new apartment the following day to put it back together. It was so seamless I wish I went with them for the entire move! read more

Followup: I had a problem with a pedal on my elliptical. I called Adam and he came out 3 HOURS later! (on a SUNDAY, no less). Always courteous and good-natured he worked diligently on the issue, even though it was much more involved and difficult than first thought. He found a solution and made sure that everything was good with the machine. Why cant all companies provide this kind of customer service?! Thanks Adam & FitnessBetter! read more

Adam and Ryan were awesome. I needed my treadmill moved from one level of my house to another and I needed it done ASAP. I sent an email on Saturday, got a quote and they came and did it on Sunday. They were professional and courteous. While they are a little more expensive than a mover or handyman, it was worth it. I feel completely comfortable that the treadmill was assembled properly, but beyond that, they cleaned the motor and lubricated it. Also told me how to better maintain it to lengthen the life. Very happy with them. read more

Wow, I cannot recommend these folks more. I had been wanting to move my treadmill within my house for a while but had no idea who to contact. A FB group recommended this company. I called and could not have been more impressed! They were very flexible on scheduling. They were incredibly professional. My treadmill is moved and serviced to a like-new condition! Adam also gave me some great advice on what else on the tread could need service - no he wasn't just up-selling me - he explained how to replace a few parts using the warranty connected with the tread. I will be reaching out to Adam and team annually for maintenance of my equipment and certainly if I move my tread again. read more

We needed our elliptical moved from the first floor of our house to the second floor. At first we thought about hiring a regular moving company, but we were afraid that the elliptical wouldn't fit up the staircase and would need to be disassembled and reassembled. I contacted two different fitness equipment assemblers. Fitness Better was much more responsive and professional so we went with them. It was a great choice! They worked around our schedule, came on a Sunday, and gave us a 60 min time frame for arrival, so we didn't have to wait around. Turned out the elliptical did need to be disassembled partially to get it up the stairs and then disassembled even more to get it to fit through the bedroom door. Adam and Ryan were great. They were extremely polite, wore shoe covers to protect our flooring, worked quickly and efficiently, and the price was very reasonable ($240, which was much less than the minimum for a regular moving company). read more

I had a great experience with FitnessBetter Assemblers! It was easy to schedule an appt. Adam, the owner, was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable! Service was requested June 2016. Adam and his associate were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The service provided was stellar. I have absolutely no complaints. I can offer nothing but praise. They arrived on time, greeted me with a smile and hand shake, worked diligently, completely professional, and answered any/every questioned that I had. The booking process was painless. They even made last minute accommodations for me. Each equipment was tested to ensure full functionality and a demonstration was provided on how to optimally use the machines. My house is a new built. We settled into the new house only 1 week prior to hiring FitnessBetter. They made sure to protect all floors/walls when entering the house and after they left, there were no signs of damage or foot traffic. Absolutely amazing given the large/awkward size and weight of the machines that they were hauling. A real pleasure to find great service from friendly and caring individuals. These guys worked hard and treated our house and the fitness machines they were working on as if it were their own. They worked straight from 3-10:30PM. For the amount of work, dedication, expertise, and care they provided, I would consider their service a bargain. read more
