When you arrive for the first time at the class you don't feel welcomed and the trainer AJ excepts you to know all the exercises. He never demonstartes anything. Plus, he makes fun of you if you can't do something and doesn't have an alternative exercise for you to do. If you want to lose weight this is the place to be but you can't complain or be lazy. He defintely has some favorites in the class. All he does is just stand around and socialize with the girls he really knows, doesn't really pay attention to the other clients in the class. I've taken extreme burn bootcamp w/ Von James and it's so much better. They are friendly and help you throughout the whole work out.

The weather was too hot to work out outdoors (they even cancelled a couple classes due to hot weather) and I was not motivated enough with my trainer. It was fun but I don't think I will ever take any outdoor bootcamps again.

ToughGirl Bootcamp is amazing! I've been coming for a little over a year. I love that they have…read moreclasses all throughout the day because my schedule is always changing. The classes are motivating and challenging. My favorite part of the program is that you get to meet up once a month with a coach to set exercise and weight loss/body fat goals. You can set any goals that you want to work on. My coach is April. She is absolutely amazing! She is always encouraging, energetic and motivating. She truly cares about how I'm doing and is always there to answer questions and keep me on track. I take Dawns classes a lot and they are great! Rami and Alicia are also amazing. We always get a total body workout. Each class is always different and new. They also have occasional ToughGirl hikes! As well as workouts in the park. The environment is very positive and also family friendly. The whole staff is always nice and helpful. They keep the whole place really clean. Amazing bootcamp! Five stars!!

I love that there are a variety of instructors who constantly change their workouts and keep things interesting. They make the hour go by so fast and I'm really seeing results!! Just this week, I received comments about how toned I look. Validation never hurts right? My first goal was to get to classes twice a week and without me even realizing, I've started going three times a week a month in. Yay! There's something about the place that motivates me to keep going and to work towards my goals.

Hardcore Fitness Burbank - 90's day

It's been a while since I've written a review, but Hardcore Fitness absolutely deserves this. I've…read morebeen a member at Hardcore for over a year, and as someone over 40 who prioritizes strength training, this gym has helped me achieve steady progress. I've gained about half a pound of muscle each month- which I feel like is challenging at my age...but Hardcore has certainly helped me achieved this. Because of them, I can now do 8 unassisted pull-ups and bench press over 200lbs. I also participate in a fitness race called Hyrox, and I credit Hardcore for giving me the literal strength to complete that race. Here are just a few great things I'd like to share about Hardcore: Cleanliness: The gym is impeccably clean. The staff maintains the facility well, with plenty of wipes for members. It's clear that hygiene is a top priority here, which I really appreciate. Equipment: The equipment is top-tier- from the smith machines, to solid racks, and cable machines. I love being able to use all of these things within a class. In addition to this, they have so many dumbbells all the way up to 100lbs, weight plates of all sizes, kettlebells, weight bags, resistance bands, TRX, ab rollers, weight balls, foam rollers, standing punching bags, ez bars, standard and olympic bars, hex trap bars, weight sled, and much more. Community & Staff: The atmosphere is fantastic, thanks to a friendly and welcoming staff that makes everyone feel comfortable and supported (especially the owner Durressa!) The community here is warm and motivating, and it's a place where everyone--from beginners to advanced members--feels welcome. Trainers & Personalization: The coaches are outstanding. They're familiar with my injuries and provide modifications or alternatives for certain exercises. And they always push me within my limits and respect me when I say no. Their support has kept me committed and progressing steadily. Class Structure & Variety: The Boot Camp/LIFT classes are well-structured with five stations, each with 2-3 exercises that come with modifications for different levels. I love the variety! There's also a cardio-focused Fight Camp class and a Booty class, so there's always something to fit my goals. Also, classes are schedule as early as 5:15am and as late as 8:30. Programming: The programming is really well thought-out, with split calendars for targeted workouts. For example, within a week there may be a day focused on back and biceps, another for legs and shoulders, and another for chest and triceps. This structured approach has been fantastic for building balanced strength over time. Community Events & Challenges: The gym hosts community events like spirit days, monthly themes, and 60-day challenges that bring people together for friendly team-based competition. It's a great way to stay engaged and motivated while connecting with others. For anyone looking for a gym that values cleanliness, fosters a positive community, and offers excellent trainers and programming, Hardcore is top-tier. Highly recommended for anyone, regardless of age or fitness level! Stop by to try it out...but make sure to tell them I sent you. =)

The class is kind of a circuit type of workout with no weights. I workout a lot and have used this boot camp as a supplement to my normal workout routine. I've definitely seen some improvements in muscle definition over the 5 weeks. Josue's really nice and approachable and has responded to my questions via email.

I exercise frequently and am not out of shape, and I love to work out outdoors. First of all, when we all got there SUPER EARLY in the morning, the instructor wasn't there. He forgot that he had an early morning class. When he finally arrived 30 minutes late, he said that we could all stay for the next one...but I had to be at work by the time the second class would be over. He gave us all his cell phone number in case we needed to contact him. The first couple of sessions went ok, although I missed the 4th due to my son being ill. I called him ahead of time to tell him, and he said that he would check to see if I could make up the class when my sessions were done. Two more classes went fine... This brings me about one and a half weeks into my month of classes, and this is where I get upset... I got into a car accident on a Friday afternoon. My car was almost totalled. I called him Sunday and left a message to let him know that I had some bruising and would not get my car back until Monday afternoon, so I would miss the Monday morning class. He did not call back. I called him again Monday afternoon and left a message to ask if there were modifications I could do for the Wednesday class because I still had some bruising issues. He did not call back. I called 4 more times over the course of the next week to ask if I was able to come back after missing a few sessions due to injuries related to the accident, and because I had not been hearing from him. I left messages each time. I sent a few text messages asking him to please call me. He did not call back. Ever. Now, I'm not upset that I missed out on the classes per se; it is not the fault of Morning Crunch that I suffered a personal injury while away from their program. What really upsets me, however, is that I never received a call back from anyone, and I STILL RECEIVE THEIR PROMOTIONAL EMAILS EVERY WEEK! It's like constant reminder that once I was injured, I didn't exist to them. I feel like this was a gross failure of customer service, and I wouldn't suggest that anyone else give them a try, when there are so many other boot camp services in our area.
