I am *that* person in the class. But you really can modify the workouts and adapt them to what you're capable of. 90% of the floor exercises are literally impossible for me to do correctly at my fitness level, so I just do whatever version of them I'm able to, or I skip to the next one. The coaches may gently correct your form, but they aren't going to hassle you - they respect that everyone in the class is at different levels. Plus, they can see how hard you're trying because everyone's color level (gray, blue, green, orange and red) is displayed on a board on the wall. So in my case, it may look like I'm slacking because I can barely do anything, but all they have to do is look up at the board to see that I'm in the red and am actually dying! It's comforting to have that up there to prove that I'm doing my best. Both classes, I've burned 500-600 calories, and the hour goes by super fast because you're switching pretty quickly between activities. It's great for people like me who usually get extremely bored working out. Afterwards, they email you your workout summary with the calories you burned, splat points you earned, etc. It'll also show up in the app if you have it. This is very helpful if you're trying to lose weight and are a calorie-counter. The unlimited membership is the best deal ($179 per month to go to as many classes as you want.) I signed up for it today and am really excited to start seeing results!

Fit For You is a must add to your workout regime or a great place to get started and take control of your physical wellness. If you strength train, I think a Pilates session once a week is a great addition to your weekly routine. I truly believe that the programs at Fit For You have made my core stronger, as I've seen advancements in my yoga practice, and it has helped me maintain endurance in strength training. It's really the best way I've found to tone and build muscle stamina. The private sessions solo or with 1-2 others on the Pilates Reformers will help you feel your best by working on areas that you want to target. It's a total body program, but you always can say if you want to focus more on upper or lower body. And even though this is a low impact exercise, it doesn't mean you aren't going to work. She'll sneak in some killer motions that you'll feel the next day and she won't put you on a weight that's too easy for you. I like reformer best for core and arms, but if you really want to focus on your lower body, I would mix in some of the barre classes that the studio offers! I partially dislocated my hip in a different exercise program and Alysa helped me slowly regain strength and get back into exercising safely. She is very knowledgeable and trained about movement and offered helpful advice for at-home stretching and modified exercises. It's been about 5 months since I was cleared to fully exercise again and Alysa still checks in with each movement to make sure it's not putting pressure on my hip.

Staff is friendly and nice, to me. Based on other reviews, looks like your mileage may vary depending on who you talk to. If signing up, ask them to explain in detail ALL the fees that you should expect as a member. If super concerned, make sure to get everything in writing. Most people aren't rating the place based on the gym facilities, which are great to me, but for the pricing, unexpected fees and confusing cancellations process.

Power Vinyasa with Ann Monaghan was a wonderful class with a strong, beautiful flow. I would venture to say the class might have been a little challenging for very new beginners, but Ann gave lots of options for modifications for newer or more advanced (in terms of asana) practitioners. If you are new to yoga (and are not familiar with the sanskrit names for poses), I would recommend placing your mat in a place where you can see other students, as Ann did not demonstrate. I also found the temperature and humidity in the studio to be ideal for my preferences (on the warmer end of hot yoga, but a little shy of bikram conditions) and thought the practice room was clean and peaceful.

When I first signed up, the front desk clearly told me I was only committing to a three-month subscription and could decide whether to renew after that. That sounded fair--so I signed up. Four months after I stopped attending, I realized they had continued charging me $211.64 per month without a single courtesy call, check-in, or even a reminder. When I reached out, I was told the subscription automatically renews and requires 30 days' notice to cancel. This was never made clear upfront. It's sneaky, misleading, and feels like a deliberate cash grab. On top of that, their class availability is trash. There's a massive gap in the middle of the day, and all the decent class times fill up fast--making it nearly impossible to attend consistently, even if you wanted to. That lack of flexibility is a huge problem for anyone with a normal schedule. I've had far better results doing free Pilates classes at home on YouTube. If you're looking for quality, accessible instruction without the shady fine print, I highly recommend Move with Nicole and Issa Welly Pilates. Both are fantastic and totally free. Save your money. Save yourself the frustration. There are much better options out there that respect both your schedule and your wallet.

You will use your machine in ways you could never have imagined. The classes move quickly but you have the benefit of screens all around the studio demonstrating each move. Additionally the instructors are literally super human, cueing each move in rapid succession while making sure everyone has proper form. Whatever Julia is making, it's not enough, this woman deserves a raise!! I've taken approximately one million classes in my life and never have I witnessed an instructor care so deeply about form and provide one on one guidance while trying to run the class (my brave husband required more attention than the average bear). This studio is high energy and for all levels!
