Everyone is friendly here.. the owner, the employees, the members. Being overweight, it's hard to find a place where I can do my thing without being judged. You can find all sorts of people here, all ages, all cultures, all body types. There is plenty of equipment available - no need to wait for someone else to finish. They have actual locker rooms with showers. In the women's room, they have a small basket where people have donated their hotel toiletries for others to use. This is awesome if you want to shower and have left yours at home. There is a lounge you can relax in as well.

I love the personal training! And there are plenty types of equipment to get my own workout in. The reason I joined was for the self defense training. It's not a martial arts class. The training is practical and can be performed by anyone regardless of athletic ability. It's the real deal taught by instructors who have used it on the 'streets.' It's good to be prepared. In the middle of my workout she was very clearly agitated and decided it was appropriate to vacuum around me during my work out. She shuts the vacuum off to talk with other members. All I can hear is her loudly and profanely talk down upon the younger generation for "feeling entitled" (this is probably the 10th time ive heard her talking down upon people and I really dont come here that often let alone to show up and hear someother womans opinion. People dont want to hear this stuff while they are trying to work on themselves)... Today was one of many unpleasant experiences that did not sit with me well. The vibe in this gym is getting toxic due the way things are being approached. When I signed up here It was explained I shouldn't park in these parking spaces during business hours per the business owner's requests from Snap fitness and the new gaming place. I will have you know I checked the city of garettsville parking policies and when you can be ticketed for an ordinance. This instance of me parking here outside of business hours was not on the docket sweets. So if both businesses would like to enact an ordinance for the parking by all means, attend a board meeting and get it moving but im pretty sure if youre leasing that is not something that will happen. The lady at the front desk put up a sign after all of this saying not to park in the other spots of the other businesses. I took a picture for reference and plan to share where ever I can. I also took a picture of the hours for the new gaming business which stated they weren't open until noon today. I was charge $76 today when I was informed that I took the necessary steps to cancel my membership. I even asked for a standing floor bag (gym was equipped with a hanging one) for my martial arts exercises and they got one! There are plenty of weights and a few weight and cardio machines, along with an open floor room that's available as long as a class isn't running. Staff cleans regularly, prices are reasonable, and it's open 24 hours with a key tag.
