A few months back, it started making noise after riding it for a few minutes. It was a loud noise, and you could feel it in the pedals. I was really worried that a major bearing was going out. After getting to the point where I was worried that I was doing damage to the unit I started looking for someone to serve it and tell me what was wrong. I contacted the manufacturer and they would have sent someone local out, but the price for the service charge was outrageous. I decided to turn to Yelp to help me find someone to service the bike, and that's where I found coast fitness. I called coast fitness and was put in contact with their service manager. He gave me some ideas of what could be wrong, and they were not nearly as bad as I was thinking. He gave me the price for just the service call, and it was reasonable.So I set an appointment for the next morning. The next morning , a super nice tech named Trisha came out and I showed her the problems I was experiencing. After listening to the noise, she said she was pretty sure that the bearings and my pedals were going out. She swapped out the pedals and then continued to listen for any possible thing that could be wrong with it , but there wasn't anything. I mentioned to her that I had contacted the manufacturer about getting a tech but how expensive it was. She said the funny thing is that they probably would've contacted Coast Fitness to come out and look at the bike. With the great experience I had , I would definitely recommend Coast Fitness for any exercise equipment that you have , that may need servicing.

We know how it was performing before you came. He said that their company would help us by providing us with the part numbers so we could ask the manufacturer for replacements and he said they would provide us with a report after showing exactly what the issue was. The report was so vague it was zero help. They never provided us with the part numbers. They also said they would reach out to the equipment company on our behalf. They did not do any of that. It was a complete rip off. We basically paid them to make our machine worse and then completely ghost us on their promises after. We asked ahead of time what would happen if they couldn't fix it and they made all these assurances for follow-up which is why we went ahead with the appointment. We would have never made the appointment if we would have known they were just going to come and take our money and end up making things worse.

Zero pressure sales, just friendly knowledge. After an hour and a lot of sweat we picked the equipment. A Spirit Fitness XBR95 Recumbent Bike and a Vectra 220 Elliptical. I was originally going to get the Spirit elliptical but I really like the feeling of the Vectra better. We purchased on Tuesday and it was delivered Friday. They don't just order from the manufacturer they have their own warehouse inventory and use a dedicated delivery and assembly team. The delivery crew was equally awesome. While building the equipment they talked about workout tips, showed all the features of the equipment, and went over preventative maintenance tips. I totally love our purchases and even on the lowest setting the elliptical is kicking my butt so I look forward to improving my endurance! If you're looking for fitness equipment look no further. Unfortunately, one of the rolls had a weird spot on it that wasn't 100% vulcanized and was semi deteriorated. I called Mike and he offered to bring me a roll but it would be later in the day. Since I had equipment coming Tuesday, I kinda needed it fast. I asked if I needed to return the roll and Mike said nope, that's yours now. I'll replace it and give you a second roll for your trouble. He then asked if he could deposit the money directly into my bank account but unfortunately there are no branches of my bank in the area that he does business in. I asked him to simply pay an invoice to me that I sent him via Square. It has been over a year and a half and I have never received any payment. Like the other gentleman stated, he never responds to text messages or answers the phone. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing Business with this gentleman under any circumstances. If you do, only pay him upon arrival or delivery of the equipment. Years ago I bought my Hoist folding weight bench at this location…read more Now I had just picked up a pair of 50# cast iron hex dumbbells at another retailer when it became abundantly clear it was time to upgrade to a better rack because the spacing was poor between dumbbells. I recalled the Hoist vertical rack and shopped others since I was trying to fit it in my office closet. In the end I gave up on that pipe dream and called Johnson. I am blanking on the gent's name I spoke to but he put the Hoist 8-pair vertical rack on hold for me and I picked it up that afternoon. He was very knowledgeable about fitness and beyond. He even took the lead loading it into my vehicle. The rack was super easy to assemble with the legs being the only piece to attach. Thank you Hoist! It is a very nice looking rack, substantially heavy without being a hassle to move around. The spacing is very good as long as you are flexible with where you keep particular pairs. It's now in my office and looking pretty. The only con was half my dumbbells were old and some were a bit weathered. I took care of that though this week painting them with 4 coats of a forged hammered pewter paint so now everything will be aesthetically pleasing to the eye as well as functional.
