Newer gym with a large selection of equipment. I like that I can pair my fitness watch to most of the erg and treadmills.

Every single Saturday and Sunday gym opens late. We paid for this gym to increase the fee twice, they got rid of the kids area, and we still can't get an employee to open on time. Either make it possible to enter with phone/barcode tag or get rid of the employee. This is annoying. read more

Use to be a nice place. It's gotten dirty. The cardio machines had a thick coating of dust. The stair mills grind so loud about 90% of them need to have maintenance done on them. Old paper towels, water bottles and weights on the floor. They need to hire as new cleaning crew and new employees. You would think at night they would. Recover weights when lazy gym goers don't put them back. They use to when they first opened. read more

This is a low class gym, I wouldn't workout here, coming from a veteran that's been working out for over a decade. My story on September 1, 2026. Gym dues are due on the first, I showed up on the first, and apparently my dues hadn't been successfully processed yet, so I mentioned I'd have the dues paid before the day ended, the sales manager (Jameson) literally harassed me following me into the mens locker room. I questioned why follow me around, he said you need to come make a payment. Mind you the dues are due on the 1st and it's the first. I'm also not behind on any payments and the payment is just 22.99. I would have made the payment which is why I walked out with him, but the guy just kept going off, like spazzing out because I asked why was he following me and kept coming back to see if I was coming. Like what the hell did I do to make this guy that mad. This guy tweaks out stating "he's just doing his job" and saying a bunch of other stuff all while screaming at the top of his lungs. He was just yelling at me like he knew me or something. I felt unsafe and he was making it hostile after he started making threats to get away from him and I never approached him, probably 3-4 feet away from the guy. His words: ( You better back the **** up away from me). I'm just confused and told the guy I meant no disrespect nor have an ego due to my martial art training( I didn't say the martial art part), and I walked out by the guys sitting in chairs and asked for the manager, the guy (jameson) still upset screamed out he was the manager. It was so unprofessional and I no longer want a memebership at this gym. The gym literally sucks, and customer service sucks too. Would not recommend coming to fitness connection in stone mountain, Ga, and they only have 2 locations, and the location in morrow, Ga never keeps their equipment lubricated. When you tell the staff, they act like they don't care, or have women in the mens locker room cleaning up. I've been working out for over a decade consistently and just wanted to try something new, but never experienced that before with any other gym. I'd rather go to LA fitness or crunch than fitness connection. Hopefully they rebrand and watch who they hire because ew that guy gave a terrible taste and gave "hood" gym. Beware! Good luck to whoever signs up there, you will be harassed for payment on the first day, even if you got a new card in the mail on the due date and just want to workout and you handle it afterwards. The guy was literally tweaking out literally like a mental character. That gym franchise will never see me again lol not even as a guest read more

A $700 Lesson in DISRESPECT, DISORGANIZATION, and DECEPTION! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ELEVATE FITNESS and FITNESS CONNECTION!!!!!! My name is Rashay Maxwell, and this review is based on my direct experience with Elevate Fitness at Fitness Connection Stone Mountain. I'm writing this because every private channel failed, local management, corporate for both companies, and even a direct email to the CEO, all ignored me/mishandled the communication. I paid $700 cancellation fee for what was supposed to be personal training and instead received a chaotic, unprofessional experience that completely derailed my fitness goals and left me feeling exploited and disrespected. From the start, Elevate Fitness operated with zero consistency or accountability. Within just two months, I had two different trainers, each with different methods, making it impossible to maintain progress. Don't worry their contract states they can change trainers at anytime during your contract. One of the trainers left because a payment discrepancy and I should have known that the integrity of Elevate Fitness is in the dumps since then. Despite paying for one-on-one personal training, I was often crammed into sessions with five or more people sometimes up to ten clients per trainer because of the lack of trainers. They cram as many people into a session because they incentive trainers to earn more money from the pennies they pay them $17 per client so those trainers need to stack up clients to make anything. This is not personal training, it's a group fitness class masquerading as premium service. When my work hours were cut due to company restructuring in June, I immediately reached out to freeze my account so I wouldn't be charged unnecessarily. Elevate clearly is not responsible for my underemployment but the lack of compassion during that time was glaring. I followed every instruction I was given, yet Elevate charged my card anyway. What followed was an exhausting cycle of ignored emails, vague responses, and unprofessional text messages from staff who clearly didn't care about providing real help or customer service. At one point, a manager texted me that it was her "day off" as an excuse for not helping when she could have simply contacted me on her scheduled day of work, she already didnt contact me for almost three weeks I could have waited longer. SMH I had to send multiple follow-up emails just to get basic payment instructions from their customer service. Despite my patience and constant attempts to resolve this professionally, I was met with silence, deflection, and disrespect. Even though I still have unused sessions owed to me, (at least 12 sessions) I've chosen to walk away entirely. That's how toxic and unprofessional this experience became. The stress and lack of integrity from this company outweighed any benefit I could have gotten from their training. To anyone considering Elevate Fitness or Fitness Connection: learn from my $700 mistake which is consumer debt that I had to put on a credit card. They dangle your financial livelihood over your head. Their sales pitch sounds great, but once they have your money and signed contract you're on your own. Expect confusion, disorganization, and no accountability. I've contacted both Elevate Fitness corporate and Fitness Connection corporate, and neither have taken responsibility or offered to make this right. I emailed the CEO Justin, IGNORED! That silence says everything you need to know about how they value their customers. Fitness Connection has tried "separate" themselves from their vendor but consistently funnel leads of new members to Elevate to generate business. Very scummy play and the gym is simply okay. This entire ordeal was emotionally draining, financially exploitative, and completely avoidable had anyone at Elevate Fitness simply shown professionalism and integrity. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS FITNESS CONNECTION OR ELEVATE FITNESS! read more

Parents please be aware that this gym if they are training your minor, they get a list and don't check the ages of who they are calling. My minor got a call from someone from the elevate training team at 9 pm and simply asked her what day she will back in the gym. I called and the sales manager just made excuses but with Georgia being the second highest state for human trafficking this a very disturbing trend that this facility is ready to change their policy or even give a sincere apology much less fix the problem. DON'T GIVE YOUR MINOR's NUMBER TO ANYONE AT THE GYM. THEY CAN"T BE TRUSTED TO DO THE RIGHT THING. Absolutely ridiculous and something needs to be done. Corporate will be my next call. This is just creepy. read more

1 Star - Horrible Billing Practices and Customer Service I had a terrible experience with Fitness Connection, and I feel obligated to warn others. When I signed up, I was told my first payment would be just $5, and that I wouldn't be charged the full monthly rate until a month later. But just two days after joining, I was unexpectedly charged $29.99, followed by another $59.99 charge a $15 late fee, and then another monthly charge -- totaling over $125 for a membership I was told would only be five dollars to start. The worst part? I tried for weeks to resolve it, and the customer service was absolutely awful. I spoke with multiple managers -- including Waymond, who signed me up and failed to explain the fees, and Aliyah, who yelled at me and told me to talk to Waymond instead. It was constant back and forth, and no one took responsibility. Every time I brought up the late fee, someone had a reason they couldn't help -- hanging up shirts, counting money, making excuses. I was even told Aliyah would be there the next day to resolve it. She lied and didn't show up. I've also called the corporate customer service line, and they refused to help or refund me. It's clear that Fitness Connection thrives on confusing billing and refuses accountability. To be clear, the classes are great -- that's the only good thing I can say. But no class is worth dealing with the dishonesty, unprofessionalism, and shady billing practices I encountered. Save your money. Go somewhere where the staff actually values you as a customer and doesn't trap you with hidden fees. I'm fed up . read more

here we go again. Another day they were not open at 5am. Why say your hours start at 5am and not open. this happens a lot and I hate to do this but it is time to find another gym. I am not the only one. The other customers that come at 5 are talking about the new Crunch Fitness that is opening and of course La Fitness that opens not only on time but 5 mins early and they have 2 people there just in case someone doesn't show up. I pay to go to the gym when they are open. They are not providing a service and the management is not saying or doing anything to fix the problem. I don't see them staying open if this keeps happening without some kind of statement from them or a fix to the problem. I pay for a service I expect to get it and that is not just me that is every customer that pays. I'm not paying for me not to be able to use the gym. it's that simple. Fix it or lose customers and we need to be refunded for the past two days y'all haven't been open at 5am. I paid for it and did not get it. I hope management makes some kind of statement to all the customers to let us know what they will be doing to fix this problem. it's only right. read more

During the times I go, there are always enough equipment to be used so that you're not waiting in line. The atmosphere is conducive to an effective workout. The building is clean and the employees are nice and courteous.. The sauna is great. read more

Please if they could only hire someone that can open the gym on time, waiting over a hour for them to open is ridiculous! read more

Fitness Connection - They open at 5am , it's 5:49 am and nobody is still here - Gyms Near Me - Stone Mountain, Georgia

Some facilities are nicer than others, that is why I gave it a 3. Has a great selection of machines. Usually don't have to wait too long to use any of their machines. There are trainers/staff and members that are very helpful! read more

The facilities are great but the guest policy is non existent, The 5 day pass is truly false advertisment . They also lied while i was doing the initial tour. I asked about the policy when first joining and was told " Yeah you can have guest." now all of a sudden less than 20 days later it's " The guest must live in stone mountain". If can get a complete refund i'd honestly get a refund and go to a gym with more locations, welcoming guest policy and eager management if i didn't just pay a annual fee. I guess thats why they don't want the 5 day pass to be used but wonder why membership is slow. staff is great , facilities phenomenal just a lot of lyin from management and marketing. so be aware. read more

This company is very deceptive, they opened up in early 2024 with one location in Ga at that time. They told customers that the one's that sign up with the grand opening was grandfathered in to the $9.99 rate and i was assured before cancelling my membership with LA Fitness that my rates would not change. We'll they lied. Now they have changed the rates on the customers that signed up with them since day one. They Only have two locations and no other locations in Ga. Save yourself the time and money and find a deferent gym. read more

The gym is nice and has enough equipment. However, I don't know why there's now way too many females half naked and prancing back and forth. This is not a bar. Can management tell them to please add clothing? I'm just waiting for one to say someone's looking at them. MAM No one is looking at you PERIOD! read more

Went with a guest for a quick session but prevented us from entering because he is not "local". Kept asking my guest to sign up as a solution. Wouldn't even bother considering the 5 consecutive day free pass. Where are the perks of being a member? read more

I signed up for the plus membership at $24.99. It includes kids club among so much more. It was a breeze to sign up and it was a wonderful first experience. I have worked at a gym so I understand that group classes etc can be cancelled last minute. I understand kids club may be short staffed due to illness or emergency. But even with unforseen circumstances this gym is a great place. Prices are amazing and the staff so far have been great. I will recommend this gym to friends and family. read more

Drove 20 minutes and paid 16 dollars just to take a fitness class. No one at the gym was aware that it had been cancelled. After calling their helpdesk the only way to get a refund is by mail. The only reason it's a 2 star is because the staff were really nice. read more
