I was nervous to try a new exercise and one staff member didn't hesitate to stop what she was doing to help me set up and show me how to do the movement properly. I feel confident that the staff is responsive to the gym users needs. There were a couple times I went and all the squat racks were full, lo and behold a week later they had added additional squat racks. Now there is never an issue. Overall, I just love going. The vibe is positive. People are friendly. The facilities are well kept. The ONLY critique I have is that the music playlist is grating to me, but it's an easy fix. Bring earphones!

The prized jewel of Huntersville Golds, the reason I come, the Arsenal leg extension, im not sure what changed over the last month but to me it seem the belt isnt lubricated as the concentric is super stiff now and the eccentric is actually non existent. Between this gym and Harrisburg golds i cant get a full leg day in anymore. If nothing changes soon I will have no choice left but to find a new gym, after all nobody likes a top-heavy bodybuilder.

3.5 out of 5. This…read morewould be 5 stars EXCEPT that it is so difficult to find available classes! Ultimately the people buying the unlimited pass get priority. If you buy the 8 pack of classes, you are only getting to schedule your classes as of the 25th of each month and they are only good until the next billing cycle. BUT the unlimited people can book classes up to 2 or 3 months in advance even if they cancel. So right now on February 24, I know that I can pick my classes tomorrow morning. When I look at the schedule though, the next week is almost entirely booked up already and there are very few class times available 2 weeks out! It is EXTREMELY frustrating and I regularly ask myself if it's worth the aggravation or if it's time to cancel my membership. It is not an inexpensive way to exercise and a regular mat pilates class is better at building strength. There are some very good instructors and there are some instructors that are "phoning it in". I stopped taking one instructor's classes because she would get us started on warm ups and then go chat with the person at the front desk, forgetting how long she was away from us. You often warm up one side and then the other. So we might be working on the left leg for 2 minutes and getting sore because she forgot us and then our right leg for about 30 seconds after she finished her conversation. We would end up warming up for 15+ minutes of a 50 minute class. Once you add in 10 minutes of cool down at the end, we weren't getting a good workout. If you want a GOOD workout , there are certain instructors to choose but I'm not naming them or I'll never get in a class! But otherwise I get a much better core workout by doing regular mat pilates.

Took a free intro class. 30 minutes. Great introduction to Pilates and the studio. It was fun and I…read morelearned about. No sales pressure. Friendly instructor. Located by Marcos Pizza.

After training with Owner, Rick Anderson, for about 7 months now, I am the strongest, most toned, and overall healthiest I've ever been in my adult life. Rick is so knowledgeable, professional, and serious about helping his clients achieve their goals. I have learned, through his commitment and dedication to helping me, what it means to push and improve myself through his unique and varied 45 minute workouts (including Tabata, HIIT, and the most fun...some serious BOXING!) and changing my eating habits. Only if you are determined and committed to working hard, would I recommend Burn, as this is what it takes to see results! Rick's clients are a dedicated bunch and the ones that aren't don't stick around. Through one on one and small group sessions, Rick gives each client individual attention and knows exactly what you are capable of and how much to push you. I truly look forward to each appointment and know I will leave feeling stronger and more confident! The big crowded gyms, inconsistent trainers, and contract gimmicks are not for me. I love that a friend referred me to Burn and I will never go back to my old habits. Thanks, Rick, for getting me fit at 49!

We were members at the Y but the classes were very uninspired and I knew I wanted to work primarily with weights. I did some research and decided on either Orangetheory or Burn Bootacamp. I ended up choosing Burn for 3 reasons: 1. Less emphasis on cardio and more emphasis on weight lifting. 2. Classes are all woman with the exception of a few coed sessions. 3. Childcare! (This was the real clincher) I took my first class last January and went for an entire year. For the first month I was sore on a daily basis, but in that good way where you're discovering muscles you didn't know existed. I noticed a visible difference in my muscle mass after a few weeks. If you're new to weights and working out in general this is a great place to start.
