There is so much equipment, you can work out a different part of your body every day in different ways. The staff are really cool. And they are there for you 24 hours a day seven days a week. The most important thing about this place is to remember why you are there and then, just show up. If you keep putting in consistent effort - you'll see results. It's basic equipment. No fancy anything. No Air Conditioning but there was a nice cross breeze. They have 1 washroom if you need to change. You have to come here with a different mind set and expectations. I come from a dance, pilates, and yoga background so getting on a dirty rubberized mat took a little getting used to. (tip: don't wear white tops.) They really encourage you to come as often in a week as possible, to push yourself as hard as you can when you're here. After each time I was here, I felt it for days! They're supportive and instructive, correcting any errors in form. They also have a class just for women which was nice. There are people who really did well here, made friends and they look great but I'm going to try to find another crossfit box that's not quite so rustic. Crossfit Silverback is looking into building their own building instead of operating out of warehouse/garage space. Maybe I'll check them out then.

I've been to other fitness classes and "functional fitness" gyms, and let me tell you... this one hits different. The coaches are somehow equal parts drill sergeant, hype squad, and therapist. They know your name, your limits, and exactly when you're about to fake tie your shoe to skip burpees. (Nice try, though.) And here's the kicker, they actually know what they're talking about. Just because someone has a cert doesn't mean they should be coaching. These coaches? They coach. The vibe? Immaculate. The workouts? Brutal... in that "why am I smiling after nearly passing out?" kind of way. And the community? It's like the cool kids' table if the cool kids welcomed everyone and high-fived you just for showing up. Even if you've been here before or thought, "I've done this type of workout," come again. Seriously. You've probably never experienced it like this. F45 Klein has that magic mix of accountability, fun, and sweat-soaked camaraderie that somehow makes you want to keep coming back. Try one class. Worst case? You get a killer workout. Best case? You accidentally fall in love with it. Either way: worth it. Rise Gym has a commercial gym side, a powerlifting side, and a strongman side. In the commercial gym, there is an upstairs and a downstairs section. There's already plenty of treadmills and cardio machines downstairs but there's even more in the upstairs area as well as a section for kids to play in. Not to mention, there is a supplement store where you can shop for protein, preworkout, vitamins, healthy snakcs, etc. so I thought that was pretty neat! As a powerlifter, Rise Barbell is hands down, the best place to work out. The powerlifting side just opened this summer and I cannot thank the owner Dr. Sean for providing such an amazing facility for me to train at before I competed at Raw Nationals this year. There are plenty of brand new TSS combo racks and barbells as well as new Rogue Kilo/pound plates. There's also many deadlift platforms as well as one olympic weightlifting section. Aside from that, there is a long strip of turf that separates the powerlifting section from the machines for body builders. Speaking of body builders, there is a posing room so that's another big plus! Inside this building, there is also a Physical Therapy section run by Dr. Sean. Oh yeah, did I mention there's AC too? I've visited numerous powerlifting gyms in the Houston area but none of them had AC so I appreciate how I'm not drenched in sweat just from walking into a gym. Aside from the amazing facility, the staff and trainers here are incredibly kind. I appreciate how they helped host/run fun events for members to participate in! Overall, the amount of hard work and passion that the owners and workers put into this gym speaks volumes. Honestly, I could go on and on as to why this is the best gym I've ever visited but I hope everyone gets to experience working out at Rise Barbell.

There could be more attention to cleaning of equipment from staff or cleaning services in both the rise gym and barbell. The main door entering rise has been seen multiple times with handprints smudged all over and dust on equipment. I do appreciate the cleaning products and towels to clean off instruments after use, however during non peak times there are no towels available. Not sure who to let know regarding this, but will change my review once I see this area addressed.

The…read morestaff is always very friendly, the place is almost spotless no matter when you go, and the atmosphere is top notch. The locker rooms are always clean too (huge bonus). Whether you're a newbie in the gym, getting back into it, or an athlete, they've got facilities and equipment for you. They have some equipment that you just can't find in most gyms that elevates the whole experience. The owners do a great job of making sure they have the latest and greatest AND all the classic pieces you need. They have a bunch of cool extras too- like gym merch, meals and pre/intra/post workout drinks to purchase, and even supplement samples. Overall, a great place to workout. I recommend to everyone.
