SVA is a great facility with state of the art equipment and method tracking your progress. I definitely recommend getting a trainer who can help you with programming if you're feeling stuck where you're at with fitness. They have an awesome community they put together. Everyone's got good energy when you come in here. Coaches are very experienced and knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed. They also do some community events like renting out a movie theater to watch Avatar 3 as well as diet seminars. For price point, it's in par with what you'd see at other places. The good thing is they made it way easy to put good use from the HSA. Use that HSA and invest in yourself.

This is some of the most DISGUSTING behavior I've ever seen from a Head Coach at a fitness studio…read more I could overlook inconsistency in coaching or gaps in knowledge (I was repeatedly told things by coaches that were objectively incorrect, and several coaches didn't seem to fully understand the flow of their own classes). But what I cannot overlook is behavior rooted in humiliation and disrespect and discovering that the Head Coach apparently thinks being "FEMALE" is some kind of insult. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in an environment that claims to promote self-improvement and confidence. This is exactly the kind of culture that discourages people from showing up, trying something new, and bettering themselves. I will no longer support businesses that market themselves around empowerment while allowing people to be publicly torn down to protect someone else's ego. I requested a refund and also reached out to the franchise owners, Emily and Ryan, for an explanation regarding this behavior. Unfortunately, it appears that questions and concerns from members are being ignored. Some members have also been removed/blocked on Instagram. They are very nice people personally, which makes this even more disappointing, because at this point, allowing and protecting the behavior sends a message of its own. That tells me everything I need to know about the values this franchise is willing to stand behind, and that's deeply unfortunate.

It's crazy to see several employees standing behind the front desk chatting or on their phones while basic maintenance and housekeeping issues go unaddressed. A gym should feel clean, safe, and well maintained, but that's no longer the experience. It's not family-friendly either! If you're looking for the quality and atmosphere this ain't it anymore.

The way this works is that you start with a Fundamentals course (3 total classes) where you are taught the main lifts. This is all about getting used to the movements and understanding the right form. From there you are allowed to jump right into classes. The schedule is available online. No signups needed, you just show up. The workouts are challenging but doable. Love that the class is structured so you often work with a buddy which lets you get to know other people in the class. The class times are convenient for someone who is working the usual 9 - 5 schedule and there are classes available every day. The workout is posted on Facebook each day so you know what you're getting into before you arrive. Most importantly, the community that they have is really open and welcoming. I was nervous about trying out a CrossFit gym like this, but I'm really glad I did. Can't wait to continue with my fitness journey here!

They are accommodating, engaging, and knowledgable. My favorite instructor is Alejandra. I really feel like finishing a good workout after her class. She is attentive to students by correcting their forms. She is such a great teacher, making us use every part of muscles and challenging yet encouraging us. I think that is why her class gets full so fast. I was taking the pilates class here everyday during the summer when I was pregnant a couple years ago.
