I took my belt and lifting straps off just to do curls and tucked them both under my bench, being sure its no noone's way. And the manager came up and threatened he would have to ask me to leave. When in a gym, you would expect it to be perfectly appropriate to have any equipment not provided by the gym with you. How he went about it just really caught me off guard. I would 100% understand If I had a plethora of clothes, a variety of drinks, or any things I do not need with me while working out, and they do go around asking people to put those things away. But my gym equipment??

My gym anxiety/boredness would always come a few weeks into a membership. But not anymore. Anytime Fitness in Grafton has cured my Anti-gym attitude and turned it so that actually going is the highlight of my day. The owners, Michelle and Ed, are amazing. They have a genuine passion to help clients reach their goals, rather as seeing them as a paycheck. The staff and trainers are friendly and extremely helpful.. I definitely recommend signing up for at LEAST 1 personal training session if you are someone who needs motivation, gets bored easily, or doesn't know exactly HOW to work out or where to start (100% me) .. Seriously, you won't regret it. As for the gym being small.. Its small but it's incredibly clean, they have a wide variety of machines, equipment, and room to work out. I have severe social anxiety and I have yet to have a problem with the size of the gym and the amount of people in it. Im also someone who is super self-conscious, (which is one of the main reasons I'm so anti-gym) but at this gym, I've never felt judged or looked down on for being so out of shape (that's why we're here in the first place, right?) Anyway.. In conclusion.. Join anytime fitness. Get on that 7 day free trial and make it a lifestyle! My only regret is that I didn't join sooner.

This is the second time I have seen a pile of vomit sitting outside of this location, literally a foot away from the door. The first time this happened, the vomit sat there for two weeks(!!!!). I'll spare you the pictures. Norovirus spreads like crazy during school season, and it's ridiculously irresponsible (and not fair) to expose customers to bodily fluids directly in front of your establishment. This poses a huge health risk and is simply disgusting. Don't go to this location unless you enjoy the smell of stomach acid or enjoy stepping over landmines each time you walk through the entrance. Not sure who is exerting themselves to the point of throwing up at an anytime fitness, but honestly good for them - put a trashcan out there or something.

The actual space is pristine and private. I just started training with Moonin. He's motivating, detail oriented, and very understanding. The initial evaluation process is extremely thorough so the workouts can be tailored to your goals. Moonin really seems invested in your success and overall health. He's super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Just a few weeks in and I've lost weight & noticed an increase in my strength and endurance!

I got into OTF about a year ago as I…read morelived right next door to the plaza this studio is located and I grew tired of CrossFit and wanted to try something new. I was unsure what OTF was so I signed up for a free class. I truly love the workouts as it blends cardio with strength training. A lot of of the classes are packed and this particular studio is small compared to the one I currently go to in Frederick, MD but the classes are still great, you don't feel like a canned sardine, and the coaches and staff are very nice. I typically burn 600+ calories per workout and feel great afterwards. You're not going to get buff doing these workouts as that's not the focus with OTF, but I feel you can tone and improve your cardiovascular fitness in no time with a proper diet. My only gripe with OTF as a whole is the $12 cancellation fee you are charged if you cancel within 8 hours of your class start time. I can see being charged if a class is full and you cancel more so along the lines within 4 hours because you're taking up a spot someone else could sign up for. However, even if a class is empty, you will be charged this fee and they can add up quickly. I've probably paid over $300 in these fees over the past year. Sometimes life happens, things come up, or you're just not feeling up to a workout during your scheduled time. I wish OTF would change their policy regarding these fees.

I've been to 15 studios in 6 states and 2 countries. Saying I love OTF is an understatement. One of the things I love about OTF is the community that is built. We chose this location because my friend was visiting her family and they live in the area. I drove 1 hour to attend this class. While we were running walking the coach Tessa told us not to talk and that we could not talk during class. I've never heard such a thing. Isn't the whole point of working out at OTF is to build a community, which includes talking. Now, I understand if it was loud talking or if we were being annoying but we were talking here and there while we did the weights section and while we were running and walking. As an OTF member this is very disheartening to me and feel this doesn't represent the OTF I know and love. I'm pretty upset about it honestly. I definitely will not be going to Tessa's class again and maybe never going back to that location. Disappointed member.
