The management is very inflex and will just send you a screenshot of just your signed contract. This is a very greedy gym charging you 120 per month. They do not care about new customers and WILL LEAVE YOU IN THE DARK unless you reach to top managemnt directly to be allowed to even BE USING THE FACILITY. They will just take your money unless you speak up. Their membership offers on group mental and yoga is fine. The MENTAL is complete bs and is just another way to tack on another 40$ to your membership. DO NOT USE THIS GYM IF YOU ARE only in Kansas City for a couple months. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS LIKE theGYMkc: Westside.

This review is for Ready Set Flow, the yoga studio inside The Hill…read more I love doing yoga here! Ready Set Flow truly feels like a community - one that is eager to welcome new friends and make everyone's experience at the studio a great one. All three times I've done yoga at Ready Set Flow, both the instructors and other yogis were warm and kind, immediately welcoming me into the fold. I've taken classes with both Laura and Tresa. Both were extremely knowledgeable and non judgemental - pushing me to work hard but also offering mindful modifications. This studio is beautiful and vibey but not the least bit pretentious. Each time I've practiced here was meaningful, the skillful instruction allowed me to take away from class exactly what I needed. I've been telling all of my friends to check out this studio, and you should too! They deserve all of the success and recognition. I can't wait to go back!

I feel like this is going to be the fairest review you are going to read on here for the HitchFit…read moreprogram. My wife and I did the couples Bootcamp. We did not lose weight on the program. Long story short, the program is extremely rigid and very difficult to follow, but if you have the ability to do so, you'd probably get into very good shape. I disagree with some of the other posts on here regarding the quality of the diet and exercise plans they provide when you sign up. I feel like they did put some thought into our programs. There was some really good information there that I will continue utilize in my fitness journey. I also don't think it is fair that people are complaining that they couldn't get their money back. Once they put the work into it and send the personalized information packets to you, that is it. There is nothing to return at that point. It's like eating an entire meal at a restaurant. You can't ask for your money back even if you didn't enjoy it like you thought you would. We worked with Micah throughout our interactions in the boot camp. He was very responsive and professional. Whenever I emailed him while I was doing the camp, he usually responded within a few minutes. I did appreciate that, but I felt like he didn't always address the problems or concerns I was having. The diet itself is going to be a bunch of small meals. Everything needs to be portioned out and balanced according to his recommendations. The meals aren't bad, but the program is extremely rigid and I don't think the diet itself if very conducive to weight loss. A lot of the foods he recommended were very high in calories or carbohydrates. I lost weight at first, but I think it was water weight. By week 5, I was steadily gaining weight back. I emailed Micah about this and suggested some adjustments I could make, so I'd be eating less. He was pretty adamant about not adjusting the diet, citing concerns that I might lose weight with less carbs or calories, but that I'd lose muscle gains that way. This brings me to my main complaint with the program. If you read about Micah, he states that his body type is a "slow gainer". I feel like his programs are better suited to people looking to put on muscle the "right way". I don't think he is really an expert at weight loss, because he really never had to deal with that problem. He was really fixated on me "not losing muscle gains", but by week 10, I was heavier than when I had started. He was empathetic, but he didn't really listen to me during our weekly check-ins to help me make adjustments to reach my goals. I feel like he would mostly just cheer me on and urge me to stick with the program. The workouts are really intense. You have cardio sessions multiple times a week and strength training on top of that. It ends up being 2-3 hours of exercise every day. There were two problems that my wife and I had with these workouts. For one, we have full time jobs and a family. Neither of us really had two or three extra hours every day. The other problem was that our bodies weren't really conditioned to jump into 2-3 hours of exercise every day. We did our best to hit our numbers, however. By the end of week 10 (of 16), my wife and I were giving up on the program. My wife had modified it to remove the carbohydrates and focus mostly on cardio. She had lost some weight after she made those adjustments. I actually gained a few pounds because I was trying to stick to the program. There is some really good information in the materials they provide, concerning both nutrition and fitness. I think the program could legitimately work if you are able to make it your absolute, sole focus. I think it could also work very well for skinny people trying to put on muscle. I can't really recommend it for people trying to lose weight, however. My wife and I tried extremely hard on this and the program did not help us lose weight. It's not really the program for busy people or working parents trying to get in shape.

I don't think anyone really cleans there. Planet fitness keeps their facility cleaner than this. You'll see water bottles in the locker room that's been in there for a month. The carpet inside is disgusting. They even will hire anyone off the street as a "personal trainer" and it's very disappointing. Very UNSAFE as I watch this "trainer" have their client do unnecessary heavy weight

I like the equipment selection, spacing and availability. I also really like the parking - it's close by and you can see the parking lot as you work out, which is helpful for safety. During the 2020 COVID shutdown they stopped auto-billing, and after reopening they were very fair about resuming charges and applying funds plus a bonus. I have a Genesis fitness trainer that I see 2x per week for the past few years, and the trainer has been an excellent coach that helps me push hard while avoiding injury. My one issue with this club is that the flooring always looks terribly dirty. Make sure to use a mat if you are going to do anything on the floor! Otherwise it's the best club
