Fishtowne Brew House - 2 8oz beers - Breweries Near Me - Beaufort, North Carolina

I had the standard cheese pizza. It had a thin crust and airy dough. Light, done just right. Crispy but not overdone. The sauce was just the right amount and had tomato bits in the sauce. The cheese was not greasy like cheap mozzarella, chewy and stringy. The olive oil on the crust after it came out of the oven and the light sprinkling of salt was very tasty. All if this took about 5 mins to my table. FIVE STARS!!!! read more

Friendly staff. Quaint little place. Great beer and cider. They need coffee for the non-alcohol drinkers.

What a fun microbrewery! We happened upon this place our first evening in Beaufort and it just so happened that it was bingo night, what a hoot. Plus they had a taco truck and fire pits! Beer, fire, bingo and tacos, what more could a person want? I tried both their IPAs and went with the American IPA, Bottoms Up, and David had their stout, Y'all & Oats . Both nice brews! The place was jam packed with locals, the bartender knew everyone by name. We will definitely be back. read more

Tiny brew house and a must stop if you love to try beers. We are partial to breweries, especially with a fishing theme. Plenty of seating outside. We shared a flight and both fell for Net House ! A strong crisp and flavorful IPA. Friendly guy at the bar. We feel right at home here. read more

Fishtowne Brew House is a great place to grab an ice cold micro brewery beer when in Beaufort. I've been here several times over the past few years and always stop in for a pint and four pack to go from the fridge. I even bought a t'shirt a couple of years ago. Check 'em out if you happen to be in town. read more

Fishtowne Brew House - Outsiders Siren Seltzer - Breweries Near Me - Beaufort, North Carolina

Great brewery just steps from downtown Beaufort! Came in on a Friday afternoon and had two flights-"the dark side of the moon" which included porters, an ale and a double IPA. All of which were true to their styles of beer. And then a second flight which included The Hefeweizen, Raspberry wheat beer, a New England IPA and a red ale-also all very well done and as described on the brewery "menu". This place is shotgun style with the tanks in the same area where you sit to enjoy your brew which adds to the ambiance. There are also a few tables out front and some cornhole boards outside. Bottom line: Solid beer choices and a great selection. read more

Fishtowne Brew House - Beer at the bar - Breweries Near Me - Beaufort, North Carolina

Beers at Fishtown were great! My husband really enjoyed the variety of beers and ended up trying several different ones by getting two flights. Reasonably priced and they had just won an award for the best beer at the local festival (which had some big names there as well!) Some space inside for group seating and a large TV inside along with cornhole and some games outside! They don't serve food, but I saw some people getting food from the place next door. read more

Great selection of good craft beers. You can bring your food from Turner St Market next door and enjoy a good lunch and a good cold one.

I sampled every beer and they were all really good to exceptional. Fishtowne Brew House makes a very nice variety of beer and does each style very well. No food bullshit, just really good fresh beer and an outstanding bartender. Kelly schooled my dad and I on every beer we sampled. Phenomenal service. I would give Fishtowne Brew House six stars if Yelp let me. I highly recommend you try Fishtowne Brew House. One year later and the beer is better. Great beer! Head brewer is a genius. Nice little brewery just a block from the waterfront. Visited in September 2020 during phase 2.5 of COVID-19 pandemic. The beer selections were nice. They offered a small pour (8oz) and the usual pint pours. What I don't understand is why, "...because of COVID-19", according to our beer slinger, they don't offer samples or flights. We had one and went down the street to another brewery that was more than happy to serve a sample or flight. I want to support small business but guys, you need to be careful on your customer service. read more

Do it, do it, do it. Lovely place, chill, interesting, plenty of room to spread out, pet friendly, nice selection of brews but also some wines for the uninitiated. My first time to the whole Beaufort thing but I gotta say, I'm lovin' it. Beaufort is not your typical tourist trap, it's quaint but genuine quaint, been here for a hundred years and not a Starbucks in sight LoL read more

Love this place! Great community atmosphere (and a great gathering spot for locals) and awesome beer. There are 12 on tap at one time and they feature a lot of variety so there's something to match every mood or taste. Small inside but with good weather there's plenty of room to sit outside. There's also a great cafe next door if you want to grab a sandwich during the time of day that both are open. read more

Great dark atmosphere, chill and perfect for some down time out of the sun in this nice coastal town. Great selection of tunes bouncing of the brewing equipment. Great taps and fun location with outside games. I wonder if they have a food truck visit on the weekends...

Great place for a casual drink with some great beers. There's an option here for everyone, including a selection of IPAs, lighter ales, and (my personal favorite) stouts. Careful with the Peanut Butter Brown, which is so smooth it could be dangerous, and the Gose Down Easy, with hints of lime. They're too good to have just one! read more

After multiple visits, I've come to terms that this is just ok. Beer is average, location is small, and staff leaves a bit to be desired. Was always hoping for more, but I would much rather enjoy my time at somewhere better like Crystal Coast or Shortway in the area, where the beers and spaces are far superior. Ultimately if you asked me, I would recommend another place if you're a local or visiting the area. read more

Had such a great time enjoying a few beers here. We opted for a flight to try a few of their beers. They offer about 8 of their own beers and 6 of other local beers. They have a great selection, including non-ipa beers. We opted for the red ale, blonde ale, brown ale, and Belgian wit. We loved the wit and even shared a pint after. The bartender was super friendly and the atmosphere is great. Eventually they're planning on setting up an outdoor area. They also allow you to bring in outside food (and will soon be getting deliveries from dank burrito!). read more

Really great selection of craft brews across the spectrum. Too many breweries these days are over the top with IPAs. Fishtowne had a great variety from blondes to browns to reds to stouts and yes some IPA too. Friendly, clean, and good prices on flights and samplers. read more

We've been spending the last two winters in the area, and watched this one being started last year. I was excited to try it when we returned, and it didn't disappoint. I think they might be brewing the best beer in the Moorehead-Beaufort area, and the place has a really nice feel about it. It has a pet friendly patio out front. No food, but the market next door has some interesting choices. The staff and patrons are friendly. What else are you looking for when you're enjoying a pint? read more

NC has a lot of good breweries. Most that I've visited have one or two really good brews. Fishtowne has a dozen on tap, and based on the five I tried, they're really on mark. I started with the "Dark Side" flight. Tonight that included an amber ale, brown ale, milk stout, and salted chocolate caramel porter. All four were very good representatives of their types. I'm a bit partial to stouts and porters (they're the only types I brew myself) so I was really interested in the porter. It's very well done. The chocolate and caramel don't make it sweet, but give it a rich, full body, and with just a hint of the salt. I finished the evening with a Belgian Tripel. These are usually strong enough that I like to leave them for last--this one is no exception. It has that delicious sour tripel bite without taking it too far. Next time I have to bring my growlers to the coast. I gotta take the porter and tripel home--and don't think I could choose just one. read more

Very disappointed with the bartender's lack of attention to detail concerning the health of visiting patrons during the pandemic. He had the mask on at first, then took it off as he was walking throughout the place and serving other customers. Customers were walking inside without wearing a mask, so there was no enforcement of the executive order to keep everyone as safe as possible. I don't think I'll be risking my health here any time soon. read more
